(Sex) Workers of the world, unite! This Thursday in Manhattan, New School University and the City University of New York are hosting the Sex Work Matters conference, an event that will bring together academics and activists to discuss the economic, political, and social issues that sex workers face every day. Things kick off on Wednesday with the opening of Sex Worker Visions, an art exhibition featuring work created by current and former sex workers; curator (and all-around hottie) Audacia Ray confirms that yes, an enema painting is exactly what it sounds like. Whether you're a supporter of the cause or want to know more about the business—or are contemplating a career change, perhaps?—it'll definitely be worth checking out.
