Porn Vegas Dispatch: Christ, You Know It Ain’t Easy

We have often talked in these pages and those of our friends about various lower or higher-key evangelical groups maintaining a presence at the AVN convention. Though the standard comment coaxed from passersby upon seeing the SoCal-tasty Christianettes known as JC's Girls is usually "What a shame (they're not in porn)," the ladies want you to know that they practice humility. "We are staying at the Lady Luck hotel and they are persecuting us all, I think," said Heather Veitch, the former stripper who was born again and later founded JC's Girls, a much-ballyhooed organization that seeks to bring porners back to Christ, if ever they were there.

The Lady Luck is set for demolition next month and, though there is a time for every purpose under heaven, senioritis among the staff of the way-off-Strip hotel is so prevalent that ther desk is no longer answering room service calls and the sheets aren't clean.

"We just wanted the world to know that we are humble and not living like kings in the penthouse of the Mandalay," said Veitch, her teeth shining so brightly I began to doubt my career choices.
