Whitney Wright wrote and stars in Adult Time/Pure Taboo's "From Afar: A Whitney Wright Story" directed by AVN Hall of Famer Craven Moorehead. It's an interesting take on the phenomenon of stalking. Check it out! Here's what Wright had to say about this production.

Hello, Whitney! How are you? How are things with you?
"I’m great! Things are great! Ha ha. This year has totally flown by!"

Congratulations on the release of Adult Time/Pure Taboo's "From Afar: A Whitney Wright Story"! How does it feel having this scene out in the world?
"I love having it out there! I love writing and I’m always coming up with new ideas. This is my second model collab with Pure Taboo. I went back and forth with a few ideas and this was the story I thought would be best!"

What do you love most about making porn for Pure Taboo?
"The acting, for sure. And of course all of the taboo elements. Taboo porn has always been my favorite."

Michael Vegas is pretty wonderful in this. What do you enjoy most about working with him?
"I selected him for this part because I think he is one of the best actors in this entire industry. He’s so versatile. He could play any role that you give him and make you totally believe it. It’s a plus that he’s such a delight to be around. He’s very well-read and a good conversationalist— I learn something every time that we see each other. He’s truly talented and I was honored that he starred in this with me."

You had Craven Moorehead direct this. How did he do at capturing your vision?
"Craven is an awesome director. He’s very much about going with the flow and we talked together about how to make this exactly how I envisioned it. When I had arrived on set that day, I had four possible endings for this scene that I couldn’t decide between. Craven helped me narrow it down into what would work the best. He also provided me with many candles, which helped greatly with the shrine."

What did you most want to say about stalking with this scene?
"Don’t stalk people unless it is a fantasy of theirs and they consent to you stalking them! My writing style is all over the place; it ranges from romance to murder to deceit, etc.. This was just one of my wild story ideas that I thought up on a whim."

I love the way that you highlight the vulnerability of being attracted to someone. Why is this scene your favorite Pure Taboo collab to date?
"I got to really take my time with this one. I was given control over the details and I was given time to make sure each scene was how I wanted it. I had to build the shrine exactly how I wanted it, I got to make the prettiest rose petal bath to kill Michael in. I’m a big detail stickler and I made sure everything was how I wanted it to be."
