AVN Hall of Famer Joanna Angel directed, stars and cowrote in her latest comedy for Adult Time's Burning Angel channel--Joanna Angel's Bondage Furniture Emporium and oh, it is a hot, funny and kinky great time. Here is what she had to say about this movie and her world.

Hello, Joanna! How are you doing? How are things with you?

"Doing alright!!"

Congrats on the release of your brand new comedy for Adult Time/Burning Angel Joanna Angel's Bondage Furniture Emporium! How does it feel seeing it out there in the world?

"I absolutely love this movie, and I am also enjoying my new career of running a furniture store."

Comedy and BDSM are not two genres that get paired up all that often. What inspired you to make this BDSM movie a comedy or was it a comedy that became a BDSM movie?

"Well, it started off as wanting to make *some* kind of scripted BDSM feature. It's actually always been a conundrum for me... I do love story creating driven porn, and I also love latex and bondage and BDSM and it is hard to find a plot that surrounds kink. So I supposed 'BDSM' and 'Plot' were the first two things I tried to string together....and it was actually, my writing partner on this, Shawn Alff, who came up with the idea to make it a movie about a dungeon furniture emporium."

Your Bubblegum Dungeon scenes that you directed on Adult Time are brilliant and you have done a ton of great BDSM porn over the years. What about BDSM speaks to you most?

"In addition to the actual sensation of BDSM and kink, it's really visually appealing. It's like....a more sophisticated, artistic, and complex way to approach rough sex."

You have been working with Shawn Alff a lot lately. What do you like most about creating porn with him?

"We just work really well together, we also have similar senses of humor and technical backgrounds when it comes to writing. He's just, the yang to my yin when it comes to someone I can bounce ideas off of."

What is your favorite scene in this movie? What do you love most about it?

"Hmm. I mean, I love every scene in this movie! But I suppose I'd have to say that Gia Derza and Brooklyn Gray had a very special and dangerous chemistry that really came through in their scene."

Congrats also on your new book Club 42 being out! How has the response to it been?

"It's been great actually, and I'm incredibly grateful."

If you had an actual emporium of your very own and you could sell anything in there, what would you want to sell? Bondage furniture like in this comedy or something else?

"Hmm. I would actually be more inclined to sell gluten-free pizza crusts made of cauliflower."
