Choices Have Rough Edges in the Married and Cheating Series

For January 2023, we choose the "Married and Cheating" series from New Sensations/Digital Sin.

Infidelity is more than a little bit problematic as a porn topic, and because of how shitty actual cheating in marriages and other committed relationships can be, it is usually one of my least favorite devices that modern porn uses to get a fuck scene going. The plot strings that lead off of a cheating scenario have traditionally been long desirable to porn creators because of how easily they can be woven into whatever the creator wants them to be. The problem is that once you drop that cheating storyline into the mix, it does not leave the viewer's mind all that easily. I think it is because we are so hardwired to be wrapped up in these relationships, that when we see something that damages or deviates from what the norm is, we all find ourselves stopping to see what those steps outside of the norm mean. Our reactions to that deviation are strong stuff, like star anise to the taste bud. We have to know what will happen with this step into somewhere that we are not societally supposed to go.

New Sensations/Digital Sin has dropped a powerful and well-done cheating-themed series on us that I recommend checking out if the cheating theme works for you and your viewing partners. The excellent series is directed by award-winning director Alex Ladd. Ladd is a porn veteran who has been making movies and scenes since 1994 and he has shot a ton of great porn on his own and with other creators over the years, most notably winning awards and receiving a lot of notice for his camerawork on Adam & Eve's Marriage 2.0. This series is as well-shot as anything that Ladd has done in the past and the ambient way that he captures the emotions and the bodies of the stars in this is really moving and definitely will get you off.

The first entry in the series, New Sensations says: "Spicing up your love life is easy when you’re married and cheating. The thrills of an ongoing affair and the rush of unexpected hook ups keep these insatiable wives wet with anticipation and horny for their husbands waiting back home." What this description of the release does well is tantalize but what it does not say is exactly how different this entry and all of the series are from other scenes and series that have taken cheating and the feel of it as their main theme and subject. Married And Cheating is really fucking brilliant in how it purposefully endeavors to do more than just show people who we are told should not be together fucking each other.

The look of these scenes just works for me because there is such a real look to them. Ladd has his series take place in hotel rooms. We get to see the players and couples walk up to the rooms together or set the stages for the fucking that they want alone. I love the grit and feel of these scenes and the fact that these are very average-feeling places and rooms. There is a tendency to sometimes glam places, people, and things up too damn much in porn when the subject matter might not support those opulent location choices with the large glass art pieces and all-white pleather furniture. We get locations that are truly suited for the action and many people know what a basic corporate-owned hotel room feels like. That familiarity can be hot as fuck, thinking of those very real, tangible places combined with very real desires that we can all get wrapped up.

The world is not perfect and Ladd shows us the people we are going to watch fuck in both daytime and nighttime so that we can find our own inner schedules for when this kind of extramarital tryst might happen. Ladd gives us a wonderful grouping of stand-ins for our own lusts with the performers that he has cast in the scenarios that he has set up. In the first entry of the series, leggy Ella Reese meets Brad Newman in a bar where we see them share a vape pen before heading into a hotel room together. They are both married, and she offers him the opportunity to turn her down but there is no way in hell he does that. In that same entry, Olivia Madison and Ramon Nomar find themselves sharing a room on accident and that turns into some great pussy fucking with Nomar being turned on by how gorgeous she is and how good her pussy is.
