The Blue Room: Wicked’s New Blockbuster, Jana Cova In Blue and Brianna Love

Wicked Pictures has released a number of top notch features this year, many of them tighter in scope than what tend to qualify as blockbusters but it was no surprise at all that the pick of the week came from them in the form of Coming Home: Collector Edition, a movie with sex in it rather than a porno with a plot. Director Brad Armstrong stars as a military reservist that is called to active duty, goes off to serve his country as so many heroes have before him, and through a quirk of fate, finds himself on the wrong side of a lost relationship. I can't speak for other critics but having served myself, including time in the reserves; I've seen some of the issues the movie used all too accurately, making me think Brad had some help when writing this one up. The back cover said it like this: "When Brian Parsons (Brad Armstrong), receives a letter calling him to duty in Iraq, his life in a sleepy little town is shaken when the unthinkable becomes reality. Girlfriend Sarah (Kirsten Price), is distraught when she hears the news. In an effort to soothe her, Brian enlists the help of his best friend Jimmy (Barrett Blade) to keep an eye on her while he's away. Multi-award winning writer/director Brad Armstrong brings you this year's most anticipated adult drama. An unforgettable 3-hour epic ripped from today's headlines, Coming Home is extraordinary movie making." If this sounds like a movie you can get into for the plot as well as the sex, you will probably find it to be worthy of your time, money and seed. It was one of my favorite dramatic fuck flicks of the year so I rated it as Highly Recommended. The extras were solid, the acting was substantially better than average, and but for some pacing issues with the story, it might have been the best story line presented by Wicked all year long. This was not a feel good drama with a happy ending but the amount of sex presented, not to mention the variety of sexual practices, was a couple of steps forward for the company too; the cast almost all fitting their respective roles both sexually and in the dialogue portions quite well. Co-director Jessica Drake would have been better used in a sex scene and the blockbuster releases of the season have not all come out yet, but Coming Home: Collector's Edition proved again that Brad and Wicked make a good team for serious dramatic entertainment and will likely win some formal accolades at AVN, XRCO and the year end list at DVD Talk.

Digital Playground continued to make good use of their lovely contract stars in Jana Cova In Blue: Jana Cova is one of the rarest commodities in porn; a super hot looking gal that does not do men in her scenes but always generates as much heat as those who do. For this reason and this reason alone, it doesn't surprise me that directors like Celeste at Digital Playground likes using her so much. Well, in the color coded tradition of Jesse Jane In Pink where every scene had pink in it, Celeste is about to release Jana Cova In Blue next month; this time showcasing lovely Jana and a cast of heated hotties that employ a blue motif in their scenes. The six scenes included three with Jana trying to become a certified slut at the hands of several popular ladies, the alternative scenes using meat puppets to provide the best of both worlds. If that sounds appealing to you as it did to me, you'll definitely want to give this one a look next month. Half the scenes were lesbian driven without a meat puppet in sight as the ladies, primarily Jana Cova, showed how lovely she can be when fooling around with other women. The other half of the scenes showed more traditional gonzo sex as Carmel, Bobbi, and Cassie provided heated scenes where they showed few limits. The strokability and replay value for this fan of Jana was high but I recognize that the relative weakness of the extras and stylish attempts by the director of photography (Robby D.) won't work for everyone so I compromised and rated it as Recommended. In short, like most porn these days, your personal tastes will tell you whether or not Jana Cova In Blue will satisfy your needs but I found it to be a nice treat while I wait for Babysitters coming out next week so give it a look.

Highlights of The Week

Any fan of round rumps and cute faces will be hard pressed to skip Brianna Love Comes of Age: Showcasing the curvy but beautiful Brianna Love in each of the five scenes (six if you include the bonus masturbation scene), Director Destro Damus sets about providing the cutie in a number of scenarios, much like Shane's World did with Diary of Julia Bond a few months back. There were definitely some technical elements in need of polishing up but I think the director found the perfect subject to expand his skills with, each scene offering up a different slice of life using the attractive young lady now that she is not under a contract any more. The scenes had a lot of heat and energy in most cases, in large part thanks to Brianna but also thanks to the others in the show. Technical matters can be learned but capturing the best elements of a seasoned performer like Brianna is not as easy as some seem to think so I rated the overall effort as Recommended. In short, if Brianna Love Comes of Age is indicative of future releases by Voodoo House, I'm going to have to keep an eye out on their titles; this initial movie showing the wisdom of their new distributor for all the minor problems.

Wicked Pictures also presented a nifty little drama this week that could get lost in the shuffle if the company is not careful with Love Always: Brad Armstrong's latest drama written by hotty Jessica Drake (who also served as co-director too). The movie was a story about love and fidelity, using Jessica as the hotty mistress to Randy Spears where his wife (Julia Ann) was long on the outs with him. It wasn't a very deep movie, so those looking for lots of twists and turns might consider something else by the company, but it definitely proved the acting versatility of the three leads nicely enough. The cover said it like this: "Michael Ryan (Randy Spears) is a busy executive whose fast-paced life comes to a screeching halt one afternoon while jogging. In the blink of an eye, an unexpected heart attack causes two distinctly different aspects of his world to collide as his wife Diane (Julia Ann) comes face to face with his long term mistress (Jessica Drake). Now the two women must come to terns with the affair and find common ground in their struggle to accept each other. As Michael slowly recovers he must face the consequences of his actions and ultimately decide who he will choose. But sometimes life has a way of making the decision for us." If you're looking for a drama that will appeal to couples more than raincoaters, this might be a great choice to check out with your significant other. The sex scenes were almost all solid, if shorter than I prefer, with fans of Julia Ann and Jessica Drake really getting a lot to love here. The overall quality of the production warranted a rating of Recommended or better depending on what you're looking for in a feature porno. In short, Brad did his usual fine job of directing the cast and proving that Love Always could serve as the latest vehicle for the three leads of the movie to strut their collective stuff really well.

Ass loving reviewer Don Houston then got hold of the latest butt title from Exquisitewith Crazy Big Asses 2: Jordan Septo remains one of the unsung quality directors of porn these days, distributing his titles via Exquisite as shot on his Venom label. Unlike the auteurs of the industry or those looking to make porn to get laid, Jordan is a devoted fan of the female body; enjoying his work like a true fan would as he captures the spirit of the moment in his gonzo fuck flicks. His latest release making it my way is Crazy Big Asses 2, the sequel to Crazy Big Asses 1 and kissing cousin of Crazy Big Tits. The emphasis, as you probably already know, is to spotlight gals with ample asses as they tease and fuck in their respective five scenes. The little touches made this one a worthy ride, albeit with some limitations as noted in the body of the review. It had a lot going for it as each gal had an ample sample of a backside; especially Gianna and Alexis Texas. The scenes were a mixture of quality; the movie opening and closing really strong but having some need of polishing up in the middle so I rated this one as Recommended. In short, Crazy Big Asses 2 will appeal to those of you that aren't into gals shaped like boys; each lady providing a different type of dynamic as she engaged in her given trade.

Lovely Ravyn then provided us with a couple of winners in Double Violation: he all-double-penetration fuckfest, is the perfect movie for those who enjoy the extreme hardcore nature of Sex Z Pictures. Double Violation lives up to its name with a female cast getting railed and drilled by a horny cast of studs. I asked my other half and we both agreed on one thing; there are many others out there that enjoy the hardcore music for such a hardcore title but for those that don't I suggest you turn the volume down to enjoy Double Violation. I know there are hundreds of new titles employing this basic formulaic approach but Will always manages to add something slightly different to give his movies better replay value so I had no problems kicking back to see what he's offer this time. Fans of youth titles will undoubtedly find some action to like here too, the cast being a winner in terms of the ladies employed. It showed the technical aspects of the movie to be pretty solid for a low end youth title, even better in some ways than I thought it would be, as the only major weakness was how some of the ladies were not quite up to par for the kind of offering this was meant to be. Still, the replay and stroke value, combined with the solid extras and amount of youthful fuck for the buck, made Sweet Young Things 2 well worth a rating of Recommended. In short, you get to see a lot of young twat having enthusiastic fun even when paired with aging lotharios not worth their breath; providing raincoaters a lot to appreciate.

Esteemed reviewer Namrufmot then took a stroll through lesbian land with Her First Lesbian Sex 11: Do I believe that this is the first time these girls have has lesbian sex? Of course not. If you manage to get passed that cheesy gimmick and rate this DVD for its content you'll be very satisfied. All of the girls were very attractive, and more importantly, had great attitudes. If you're into lesbian sex, or if you want to introduce your girlfriend to lesbian porn, definitely consider adding this title to your collection. The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as are all of Pink Visual's releases. Overall, the video quality is pretty solid. There is no background music, allowing you to hear every whimper and moan during the action. Like most other Pink Visual titles you get the standard assortment of extras too so enjoy it.

Tom Byron provided us with another delightful dose of ass in House of Ass 5: Tom Byron and Tom Byron Pictures are not as well known outside of the raincoater crowd as they probably should be but as a gonzo production outfit, I have found the former Houstonian to provide some heated sex when he casts the right ladies for his style of porn. His latest title is House of Ass 5, a series of five gonzo scenes where Tom bones some very physically attractive ladies for our collective viewing pleasure. There was a theme of ass tease taking place here but most of the gals did not do anal, the balance of the action being with oral and vaginal work that was often pretty warm. If you like the cast as much as I did, you will probably be happy checking this one out, 80% of them having shown a lot of solid work in the past. It had some solid strokability, replay value, and heated action so I rated it as Recommended. The technical aspects of the movie were generally decently handled and I was looking forward to seeing Alexis Texas, Penny Flame, and Shy Love the most but each of the ladies in the cast were appealing for a number of reasons. In short, House of Ass 5 provided more evidence that Tom is back on the rise like the phoenix of old, showing the world that he still has what it takes to get the masses off with his brand of smut.

Reviewer Saul Good then saw fit to suggest a trio of titles with Teen Hitchhikers 15: Two hours with 5 teen girls is what we're offered; hopefully they don't leave us stranded on the side of the road. This film pleasantly surprised me. All of the girls are fine, young things and give a performance than seems more wrong than right (they're daddy's prolly thought they were dropping their daughters off at the mall). But if you can brush aside that most of these gals ~look~ too young (done) and that they're not your daughters so why worry (done) this is a decent way to spend two hours. All girls give sweet, amateur-based performances, even though the film quality itself never leans that way; Did You Miss Me?: Porn company Digital Sin put together a brilliant idea (although I'm not sure if it's original) of compiling young starlets from numerous flicks that you may have overlooked before; or been too busy jerkin' to recall their names. Nonetheless, this genius team slapped 5 hours across 2 discs of overlooked lovelies and created a sort of video scrapbook. If you are looking for some overlooked young talent and don't mind action that may be a bit cut and paste, this is a damn fined comp; and Cream Pie Inside: Sineplex is one of the least common studios out there, and I don't think they get the big audience they deserve. Often times their models have a unique, homely quality that is like top-notch amateur or something. They didn't go with any gal willing to pork, they actually picked up some cute ones. There are six fairly young girls lined up to take cock and stock in the ass, and each is cute in their own down-to-earth way. The action is clean, satisfying, solid, and straightforward; there's very little rough oral, some gapes.

Speaking of lengthy and nicely put together compilations, I Love Latinas 2: Collector Edition was a fine pick too: New Sensations has been known as a company providing a wealth of original content now for years, but their deep vaults have lately been making a lot of waves thanks to their compilations too. One of their most popular compilations has been the I Love...Series, that focuses on a particular performer or type of scene; the double disc sets being the best of the bunch. Today's review is on their latest such offering, the two disc set for I Love Latinas 2, which provided almost six hours of heated fuck for the buck with some of the best Latinas you will find working in porn these days. The fifteen scenes were a mixed bunch but it is hard to complain when you are getting so much to play with, especially given some of the talent working the meat pipe in the movie. I doubt anyone into Latinas will be able to say there were not a treasure trove of scenes that almost everyone should appreciate on some level or another. The ladies were almost all physically appealing and whoever picked the scenes did a good enough job that a rating of Recommended or better was clearly warranted. The technical matters on each scene varied according to the source material and how each director handled the artistic approach but I can safely say that I Love Latinas 2 was one of the longest titles in the I Love...Series and even the lack of decent extras should not dissuade you from picking up a copy.

Lovely reviewer Ravyn then gave us another three reasons to visit our local porn emporiums with La Femme Chanel: Life on the farm isn't what its all cracked up to be when Bill Fisher takes his cast and crew to film on a working farm. With each scene done up right in the rustic farm the ladies have a grand ole time fucking and sucking to their hearts content. Though at times the lighting was dark, the heightened level of passion and chemistry made up for it all. Le Femme Chanel is one of the many titles from Club Jenna that can either be a Hit or Miss. In this case, it was a Hit. Filmed outdoors, director Bill Fisher finds it challenging because of the natural lighting and the rustic nature of the background. The cast gave it their all and them some bringing out the sensuality with the two g/g scenes and the three-some with Reno, Celeste and Veronica. The entire DVD is enough to start one hell of a fire in anyone pants; Candelabra: One has to wonder what is inside the mind of Writer and Director David Stanley that makes his thought come to life on screen. Candelabra is another one of his featured titles that comes across with a lengthy plot that will make you wonder . A cross between the Twilight Zone and soft porn, his twisted way of thinking drags out the movie just enough to explain the workings of his inner mind. Sometimes a featured adult movie goes out of the way to cater to one genre of the population which is always a good thing. David Stanley did just that. Candelabra is made just for women. I like the fact that there is a lot of real kissing going on with the performers not that fake lizard kissing that you see in most porn and the fact that the passion/chemistry is very much a strong part of the title; and Addicted To Niko: Explore The World Of Niko In All His Glory. With his chiseled abs, his piercing eyes, and his massive...personality, Niko has taken the world of erotic fantasies to his own new and unique level. Now explore Niko in all his glory. Addicted to Niko is an erotic and alluring soft core DVD made for first timers and women that do not enjoy the hard core genre of the adult movies. They will find this title more than suitable for their taste. Even the cover of the DVD is made specially to attract a woman's desires at the point of purchase and with Niko on it I'm sure more of this one title will be coming home with many of the ladies. Addicted to Niko is one addiction I wouldn't want a cure for and I cant wait to see if Playgirl has more of this wonderful addiction in future titles.

Mark Wood then offered us up large melons to appreciate with Tit Worship 2: the sequel to the well received Tit Worship 1 that came out earlier this year. The movie was light on extras and relied on five scenes to convey the stated breast dynamic to the fullest, thankfully working in that regard most of the time. The front cover displayed the assets of the cast well enough and my first thought was that Mark definitely had a winner on his hands. It was a title worthy of being Recommended thanks to the busty cast, the often heated sex, and the amount of fuck for the buck found on the DVD. There were some rough edges with the editing and the droning music starting off each scene could have been ditched but the mixture of newcomers and seasoned veterans to the big boob genre certainly gave this one as much appeal as Tit Worship 1. In short, those of you looking for big old titties to bust a nut over could do far worse than Tit Worship 2 so save a few loads and get a copy all your own.

Favored reviewer Kobiata then clocked in with a trio of title too such as Fucker Takes All: You will be hard-pressed to find a combination of excellent story-telling with scorching sex starring Europe's leading ladies! This Tom Herold movie is highly recommended! Vanessa May manages to deliver her acting lines well despite not having English as her first language! It's a great movie with a very fun plot combined with sexy European starlets in steamy scenes! The variety of sex scenes will appeal to couples as well as hardcore porn-mongers that must satisfy their dose of hot Euro hotties getting double plugged, Don't miss out on Vanessa May's DP scene, which get this DVD to a great start; Private Sex Auditions 1: After watching the first two volumes, I would have to give the first volume a better rating. There's some great looking ladies to watch out for, especially Cindy Hope, which you can see in a full sex scene in the third installment. Both Jennifer Love and Gitta Blonde give scorching performances. I really look forward to future volumes and I hope that Toni Ribas is able to capitalize on the successful bits of this fledgling series; and Best Little Horny Asians: This DVD compilation showcases scenes starring Asian hotties, past and present, from PRIVATE's porn vault! This is a solid RECOMMEND with great scenes from Lady May and Priva. If you need to satisfy your Asian fetish or your Yellow Fever, then check out this DVD which has a number of different Asians.

Slime Ballin 2 was tougher to define than most titles this week, even giving Don a run for his money in describing it: The general idea here was to let the cast loose, apply some body paint that glowed under black lighting, and turn them loose to have really nasty, messy hardcore sex. Only one of the scenes was a true throwback to typical gonzo and while the technical matters had some issues, I found myself watching the screen with awe in most cases as the performers went at one another with energy, enthusiasm, and passion. That some had a modicum of chemistry was icing on the cake but it was definitely a strange experience to say the least. It was a lot of fun as a raincoater project and while it had some truly rough edges on the technical side, much of the sex was heated enough to earn the double disc set a rating of Recommended or better. The inclusion of a second disc from the vaults of Metro was really good at adding fuck for the buck value and the strokability factor seemed a cut above the pack, the movie having just come out but already making waves online. In short, Slime Ballin 2 may not appeal to everyone but if you enjoy weird sex that could have fit into any of the recent Alt-Porn efforts elsewhere, sans the music of course, you will probably appreciate this one more than a little bit.

Last up was a title picked for the great cover though there was a lot of substance to it as well in Need For Seed: Johnny Boston is the name of a director I have only reviewed a single time before so when I heard he moved to working for Diabolic Digital, I thought I'd check out his work. The name of the title was Need For Seed, similar to the Down The Hatch series so many fans have appreciated over the years by another director at the company, the gals even saying the magic words at the end of their scenes. The idea behind the movie was to showcase gals that engaged in hardcore sexual antics before swallowing the loads presented to them by their male partners; a basic but functional theme. It may have lacked finesse, a consistently heated approach, and a set of ladies that were all in tune with their partners but the quality of the footage in terms of strokability, replay value, and amounts of fuck for the buck again having me give the director's work a rating of Recommended. There was a lot of loving to go around and aside from some minor technical issues that really didn't impact the rating much at all, this was another step forward in the director's evolution. In short, Need For Seed was a winner worth checking out for fans of gonzo sex as well as swallowing aficionados; proving that the company has some quality directors coming in that know what they're doing.
