Hello on this cold Saturday afternoon. I have my usual hot cup of Joe and I'm listening to the original Queens of Noise: The Runaways. These young ladies (all age 16 and 17) kicked some rock and roll ass! Growing up in Alabama and secretly knowing my sexual orientation was not easy. Bands like The Runaways, The Ramones, and The Sex Pistols helped me in forming kind of a "fuck you" attitude when I was ready to come out of the closet.
1977 L-R: Sandy West (drums), Joan Jett (rhythm guitar/vocals), Cherie Currie (vocals), Lita Ford (lead guitar/vocals), and Jackie Fox (bass guitar).
Here's the cover art for my most recent reviews:
I'll be working on a review for The Latino Fan Club/Real Urban Men's latest "Queens Plaza Pickup 2" as promised in my last blog plus the newest from Private Man "Desperate Househusbands 2".
I love horror movies and rented some to watch with my buddies while throwing back some beers. We will be watching a couple of these: "Return to House on Haunted Hill", "Buried Alive", "Solstice", and "Zombie Town".
Here's a hottie for ya.
Cheers!
