Wicked Booth
The first day of the show hearing from other vendors that this year turn out from vendors was much small than last year and that they still where have trouble with people trying to stop the show entirely. Which of course makes one wonder if it's worth the commute hour and a half from NYC Penn Station. Isolated from everything, it still faced problems from the naysayers and the negativity from the local news media. One local news station even label their segment "Porn Problem" igniting the flames of the all hypocrites who watch porn behind their darkened windows and closed doors.
Unlike the Adult Entertainment Expo, where one wants to get there early for the ribbon cutting and to avoid the crowds, one didn't need to get there early the first day being that it was dead till late afternoon when the ladies came in around four o'clock. There were some booths with very little activity while others were still setting up.
Everything came to life as excepted after I did my interview with the newest addition to the Vivid family AJ Bailey, who I will say is very real in all sense of the word as wasn't afraid to speak her mind during the interview which you can read on my next blog posting.
Even though the show is much a smaller scale in comparison to the AEE held in Las Vegas , it was a welcomed pleasure to have an Adult show here in the East Coast were fans can meet the ladies whom are the subject of their wet dreams and sexual fantasies.
My photographer Eddie, had a great time at the show especially when I introduce him to the ladies as the show virgin and was made to blush several times by Vivid's Megan Mallone, Teri Weigel, Courtney Cummz and Wicked's Jessica Drake who has an open invitation to dinner at Xcritic's Don Houston's home the few days that we will be visiting Don sometime next year.
My only two minor gripes are the autograph brokers that clog up the lines having the ladies signing numerous amounts of pictures and magazines for five bucks a pop and selling them on EBAY for more than they paid. The other was not enough male performers attended the show to satisfy this female show goer, even though one of my favorites was there Mr. Marcus.
Alex(Monstar) Raymond who worked hard with others putting the show together took time explain why the men don't do the shows but hopefully next year he can convince some of the men to do both shows the one in Miami and NY/NJ.
For those that did attend the remaining two days of the show, they got to meet and take pictures with the ladies that were not in attendance on Friday and had a great time from what I saw in pictures from acquaintances that attended. You can check out the rest of the pictures from the show here .Hopefully next year there will be more adult vendors as well as more adult companies involved making for an even better turn out for everyone.
