Dangerous Curves–Phoenix BBW On the Rise

XCritic recently spoke with Phoenix BBW, one of BBW porn’s most exciting newcomers. As she climbs further up the ranks of the BBW porn spectrum, she’s gotten noticed by many of the heavyweight BBW studios. From Rodney Moore to Plumper Nation, Phoenix has consistently performed at a top level, making her one of the premier girls in BBW. Have you always been a big girl?

Yeah, pretty much. As soon as I got into high school I was always bigger than everyone else. I think I was 30 to 40 pounds less than I am now. I was always more womanly and curvier. I had breasts and all the other girls in school really didn’t have all that. I’ve always been curvy.

Before porn did you watch porn regularly? were you aware of BBW porn?

I didn’t realize there was a big calling for BBWs. I always thought the average porn star was like the people you see in movies and TV with “the perfect body.” I never thought I would have a role in that life. I wasn’t a big porn watcher but I have watched porn in past relationships. But I definitely didn’t think that there was a calling for girls like me in the industry. Once I found out I was super excited about that. [Laughs]

Were you a fan of any BBWs before entering the industry?

Yeah. I love Mazzaratie Monica. I love big juicy asses and she has a cute face. I always had a little lady crush on her. I also really like Klaudia Kelly. I think they’re both gorgeous. And Eliza Allure is obviously really gorgeous and I was really happy to be able to work with her. She was one of the first names I heard about when I got into the industry. That was cool to get to live out that fantasy. [Laughs]

Who’s on your performer wish list, male and female?

Believe it or not, I’m not too familiar with the male talent. I know Shane Diesel and quite frankly, he scares me. [Laughs] It’s intriguing and scary at the same time. But I’m not too familiar with the male talent. But Mazzaratie and Klaudia are definitely the top two on my list of girls I want to work with.

Would you turn down a scene with Shane?

No because I know the fans would want to see it. I’ll be happy to do it for the fans. [Laughs]

Describe the hottest scene you’ve ever been involved in.

My first scene ever was with Jay Crew for Jeff’s Models. That one was really hot because it was my first scene and Jay Crew is really passionate. So I enjoyed that one, he was really easy to work with. But my first scene for Plumper Pass, that one was pretty intense. There was a lot of slapping, choking and fingers shoved down my throat. It was a really hot and organic. We really didn’t need that much direction. It went the way that it went and I really enjoyed that.

What’s the best thing about being a big girl in the business?

We have our own little circle. It’s like a family. I think it’s really cool that we get the recognition, we’re becoming more mainstream but I also like that it’s kind of underground. I like being a part of that.

Do you do custom videos for fans?

Not yet but that will be part of my Clips4Sale. I’m in the process of all that. I’m still trying to find a photographer, somebody that I can work with on a consistent basis.

Did you have self-esteem issues because of your size?

Oh yeah. I think regardless if the woman looks perfect on the outside you just automatically assume that skinny girls don’t have any insecurity. Everyone has insecurities. No matter how confident you are in your skin there’s one thing you may not like about yourself. I can look at the skinniest, prettiest, most ideal girl in the world and see nothing but perfection but when she looks in the mirror she may not like how her left boob hangs. Everyone has their little thing they don’t like about themselves. Of course I dealt with my share of insecurities and stuff like that. I think for the most part I wear a confident attitude.

When it comes time to take your clothes off are you ever self-conscious about it?

No, that’s the last place I feel self-conscious about it. For some reason I feel more confident naked than I do with clothes on. I’m not going to lie so no I never have a problem being naked. I never have a problem with being naked around people on the set. I’m really free-spirited in that way. You have to be that comfortable if you’re going to work in this world. It doesn’t work any other way.

Are you comfortable being naked?

I’m going to be 100% honest. I’ve had a few outdoor scenes for my website that involved me wearing skimpy clothes and I was quite embarrassed just because at that time . . . when you’re on a BBW porn set everyone knows what to expect. You’re going to see some big girls, you’re going to see some jiggle, you’re going to see some cellulite, some rolls. It’s part of the game. But out in the real world it’s not looked at the same way. I’m a big advocate of dressing according to my size. I just don’t feel it’s proper for me to wear a shirt that’s two sizes too small for me out in public on a daily basis. So when I had to go do those scenes it was at a park and I was wearing short shorts and a sports bra. I was doing like a workout scene and I felt kind of embarrassed. I felt vulnerable at that time. I think I’ve grown since then. I’m human and as much confidence I have in being a big girl in my daily life, my sexual life, I don’t have any problems being naked with the person I’m with. I don’t have any problems with anything like that but I have never been outside in anything that reveling, ever. So I was worried about what other people were going to think. That’s sad, people shouldn’t think like that. At that moment I did and the photographer was even surprised. But I think I’ve grown a lot since then. I think I can handle it better now. It’s all about what you’re wearing and how you feel sexy. I just didn’t feel sexy in that attire to begin with. Now say I was out there wearing something I felt good in then I probably wouldn’t have felt so insecure. So I think it all matters about what you’re wearing and how you’re being presented and so forth.

Before porn did you have an active sex life?

Oh yeah.

Did you have one night stands?

I have had a few.

What about sex with multiple people?

No, that was a first in the porn industry.

But you’ve had your share of sex partners?

Yeah, I’ve had quite a few. I was in a long-term relationship for eight years. I was in a relationship with the guy I lost my virginity with from 14 until I was 21. So once I broke up with him I went wild. [Laughs]

What was the most adventurous sexual experience you had in your personal life?

Probably having sex with somebody in the same room with somebody else having sex. At the time I thought that was pretty freaky.

Was there any swapping?

No. We were young. I was probably 17-years-old and I was with my boyfriend and my friend was with her boyfriend. But she and I did play around though. We did a little show for our boyfriends when we got down. I guess it got kinkier. [Laughs]

Would you consider yourself bisexual?

I love women; I like to look at women. I definitely don’t mind sleeping with women but I would never date a woman. Like I would never have a committed relationship with a woman but yes, I do enjoy women’s bodies and their mouths and their tongues, and everything else about them.

What kind of guys do you like?

I love a guy that is funny. That is my number one thing. A guy that can make me laugh it’s done. I feel a good sense of humor can make a guy cuter. Second would be cleanliness. I always want a guy who smells good and looks like he showered that day. I hate cocky guys, I hate guys who are cocky. That’s my number one turnoff is somebody who’s cocky. I also have a thing for the BBC, talk dark and handsome. That’s always a plus.

Would you consider yourself a feedie?

Not at all. Diamond X Media, when I started shooting with them, that was one of their big niches but I could never jump on that train. That’s just not my interest.
