Vixen contract superstar Maitland Ward has directed her very first scene for the very anally obsessed Tushy website. Hello, Maitland!  How are you doing? How are things?
"Great! Always wonderful to talk with you and the fans here. I’m really excited for everything happening this year. Lots of fun and surprises!"

Congrats on your new scene that you directed and starred in over at Tushy! How does it feel to have it out there for fans to enjoy?
"It’s really amazing to not only write and direct this scene but to also write and direct my own debut for the brand. That rarely, if ever, happens, so it was extra special for me. It was also fun to explore traditional mainstream Hollywood where I came from and use the classic casting couch scenario from a totally different perspective. Mine in a seat of power. Having me take the power position and now be in control of a setup that has all too often left hopeful actresses in a position with no power is liberating for me. Plus it is so much fun to play with these boys and explore my dirtiest fantasies. How often did I wish I could be behind the producer’s desk and have my hottest fantasies play out. And now, thanks to porn, I can make these dreams a reality."

How did you cast this? I loved the setup for this with you as a Hollywood producer.
"I’m so happy you enjoyed it! I think Mick and Dante are tremendous performers and I’ve worked with them both before so I knew they’d be perfect. Plus, it takes talented professionals to make a DP scene flawlessly hot, which is what they both brought to the table—or rather, desk. And we had a lot of fun with the dialogue and the setup. They really put their all into it. The team at Tushy also brought together a Maitland Ward Productions set that felt so much like I was back on a studio lot, so that made it all the more fun to play with. Especially with my name on the door."

What did it feel like doing those porno auditions after your own life experiences as an actress in Hollywood?
"I have gone on literally hundreds of auditions where I felt I was at the mercy of a casting exec, or director, or producer to give me the part. This feeling of hopefulness while being powerless. That’s a scenario that plays out all the time for Hollywood actresses. And while this script was pushed to the max with the sex and hotness, it was fun to sit behind the desk in the power position. It’s really a metaphor for my life as I get to call the shots now. And I did it for quite literally writing and directing this one."

What do you love most about anal?
"I love that it feels rough and intimate and dirty and taboo. I love so much about anal and being in porn I’ve found that I really am a natural at it. I was nervous before I started to do on screen anal. I wanted to prepare right and of course the dicks in porn are massive. But it was the easiest most natural thing to me and I became hooked! While I enjoyed anal in real life doing it on screen with porn gods is really an exhilarating, nuanced experience. And the feeling of being so completely filled while doing DP is like no other."

Any advice to a woman who wants to try a double penetration like the one you did in this?
"Honestly, I had wanted to do it for years but it’s very hard in real life to find two guys who really know how to do it. It’s sort of a game of Twister and a puzzle you get into and once you have it perfect then you can let loose and it’s out of this world. I would say to first do it with toys with a partner and then if you want a true DP, find two partners you trust and who also trust each other. You don’t want battling dicks to spoil your hot time!"

Who inspired your directorial work in this? What anal scenes/sites/directors/performers do you look to for inspiration?
"Kayden [Kross] always inspires me when it comes to directing and creating projects. She has been instrumental in encouraging me to direct for a long time and finally I said okay. I’m so glad she kept believing in me and encouraging me because I’ve had such a great time. Kayden’s pieces are always phenomenal and I’ve watched and learned so much along the way in my journey with her and Deeper. In both my Tushy and Blacked scenes I’ve drawn inspiration from my own life. Now I have some ideas and concepts that are much farther outside the box. I’m looking forward to pushing forward with different script ideas. I like when I write something that entices all of the senses so the audience feels completely immersed in it."

What else is coming up for you? What should your fans be on the look out for?
"I’ll be doing more writing and directing projects for sure and I’m looking forward to acting roles that push my talents as both an actress and a sexual performer. I’m working on a new book and there are a lot of irons in the fire I can’t wait to share with you."
