Porn star Sativa Verte stars in the erotic horror thriller "Rotkäppchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood", now available streaming on VOD on Vimeo. What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"Some standout memories I have from high school were graduating amongst the top of my class with high honors and huge involvement with percussion/band-blue ribbons galore. I was also very involved with extracurricular activities. I studied, practiced my percussion instruments a lot, and had two jobs, so I made friends with everyone at school/work and didn't hang out with groups of people or date. I mean, I usually went to a couple proms a year from all different surrounding towns starting freshman year. I had a lot of guy friends from being a hostess, so it was like I was everyone's girlfriend LOL! I spent more time with people that lived in or around my neighborhood."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"Yes, I was a fan of pornography before entering the industry. During my fandom time, it was going to the adult store with my long-term boyfriend and renting VHS tapes! It was used as a source to add a little spice into our sex life. Previous to that, I was only exposed to magazines in the back of the school bus or I would accidentally stumble upon the stuff at a friend's house. I really wasn't spending time admiring porn; hence, I had no favorite porn stars or porn movies. It was merely a tool in the background to spice things up on the weekends. Funny, I think it was my lack of favorites that inspired me to want to try it. I was like, 'I'm fucking hot, I'd kill it as a porn star!' I guess my overall favorite type of adult movies are those with storylines or interesting costuming. The only one I recall watching multiple times was this '80's porno of two girl elfs called Holly and Vixen. They fucked a big-dicked midget in the back of a limo. Then went to the house to deliver gifts and the elf fucked the family as a gift. It was rather funny and inspired my first set of red press-on nails I wore to the fair that year."

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do?

"My favorite type of scene that I enjoy doing is one that I inspired, which is just the typical sporadic filming of the day in the life of myself. What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

"I want to direct and star in a couple spoof porn parodies that I've joked about on Twitter for a long time. That would be cool. :-) I also would like to make a fan fuck site so I can meet and fuck my fans all over the world. I think it would be a great deed for the fans, internet, and my holes! I would be down for arranging swinger events in exotic location and nudist-friendly places. To film and participate in that would be #BucketList goals!"

Who is your favorite female/male performer to work with and why?

"Respectfully to my onscreen lovers, I'm not going to kiss and tell in this interview. I'm just happy some of these people were willing to share a part of their soul with me. I'd gladly comment in an overall industry experience - Nina Hartley because she was always friendly to my young male friends I brought to AVN. I thought that was really sweet of her to give them good memories to go home and brag about. It also made me look good :-) Since I don't work with adult male performers, all my on camera love scenes have been my real life boyfriends, Again with experience, I found that Evan Stone was one of the few respectable and pleasant talents to meet and take a photo op with - he made me comfortable."

You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?

"The fans that do respond to my tweets are long time admirers of my work which I appreciate to no end. I personally believe some of my followers would argue that I don't respond enough! I do try to respond to people regardless if it's good or bad, however, I can't respond to everything. I'm one hell of a conversationalist outside the internet, so this is probably fulfilling my needs more than theirs when I do respond."

How did you become a porn performer? What led you down that career path?

"Ohh, bloody hell, young, dumb, and full of cum? Can that be my answer? Ha ha ha ha!"

What do you remember about the making of Rotkäppchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood?

"Harry had to fire the first lighting crew 'cos they were lazy as fuck, LOL. I remember Harry, as usual, bringing together the perfect cast of misfits. I recalled the wonderful places we filmed and practicing reading lines while I had my feet in my foot bath. Harry had a good group of people around him that loved and supported his creative thoughts. It was a really good vibe on this set."

What do you think is sexy about fairy tales?

"It totally fits my love for adult films with story line. Eroticism is realism."

What do you love most about your character Summer?

"She was an emotional rollercoaster when it came to the terms of acting out so many different emotions. Overall, she was sassy and hell, she appeared as one of the main characters so who wouldn't love that about your assigned character!! I believe Harry wrote the character for me so I was also VERY honored!"

What do you think are “must-have” DVDs for your fans?

"Along the lines of adult fairy tales - this one when it released on DVD and 'Alice in Footland' by RedLight TV."

What do you like to do for fun?

"Spoiling my pet ferret with love and attention, exploring parks, boating, beach life, container gardening, addicted to reading physical books, gaining knowledge on things I haven't learned yet, fixing things myself. I am a Mini Cooper enthusiast and I enjoy Sunday cruising in my manual, plus I love COOKING, Netflix and pizza, auto shows/cars, and talking to strangers."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"This would have been an easier one if you asked me which was the worst, so many bombs this summer - highly disappointing. I guess 'The Purge: Election Year', maybe 'Bad Moms', 'The Invitation', 'Green Room', and I definitely got pulled into the made for TV drama OJ Simpson trial movie. Nothing was 'the best' so I named a couple 'good' ones."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"I could never make it through a porn movie. Most acting is too much of cringe fest for me. If I watch something online, it's more along the lines of the best porno movie because the shock factor, like Katie St. Ives getting Fruit Loops eaten out her asshole or someone putting golf balls into other's holes or I watch swinger-oriented porn 'cos thats real. Because of Prince Yahshua's PR team, I see his stuff constantly on my Twitter feed, in which I do admire his humorous adult acting as well as his acrobatic skills with the ladies.
