Ever love a television show and then have to give up on it because it turned to shit? Don't you just hate that? The history of TV is littered with programs that were once popular and/or critically acclaimed only to go down the crapper for various reasons. What season of The Simpsons did you finally throw in the towel on? 10? 18? 24? Wasn't season seven of Gilmore Girls god awful? Season two of Friday Night Lights is almost legendary for it's fecal quality. I gave up on The Good Wife last season after Will died and all the other fuckness of the storylines. I could give more examples. "Jumping the shark" is what some call it, I believe.
Remember Glee and how HUGE that show was? It dominated it's time period on Tuesday nights, sold millions of digital copies of it's shitty cover songs and even spawned a live cross country tour and concert film. Then season two started. Fart. Who knows if most of the original cast will land on their feet. Dianna Agron, who played pregnant cheerleader Quinn, is doing some interesting things with in movies. She stars in the indie flick Bare as a bored small town girl who follows in the naughty footsteps of a sexy drifter played by Paz de le Huerta. That film's title is clever in that it means baring the soul--or some shit--and baring tits! That's right glee club. Quinn Fabray makes her nude debut in some naked lesbo scenes with nude vet Paz! What would Mr. Schu think?
Don't. Stop. Belieeeee--ving!
