Is This Couple Doing It On The Red Carpet At Cannes?

Being close to some of your favorite celebrities can fill you with so many emotions, you can become overwhelmed. There’s something about knowing someone you like, respect, or even have a crush on is sharing the same air as you. That feeling can last for hours so, I’m not surprised that a couple decided to act on that rush of feelings and do it on the Cannes red carpet.  

David Griner, who is the managing editor of digital Adweek, just happened to be in the right place at the right time and snapped a picture of the couple in the midst of the throws of passion. He posted the image of the two heating up the red carpet on twitter with the hashtag #CannesLions. If it was me, I would have gone with #CannesLoving or #CannesRedCarpetHeat, but that’s just my personal take on. Of course not all of those on the twitterverse thought this was a real moment of intermittency, but instead big publicity stunt. For you see, the Cannes Lions Festival is not part of the Cannes Film Festival. Instead the Cannes Lions takes place about a month after the festival and it is focused on those in the creative and advertising industries from around the world. I don’t know, I’ve seen Mad Man, those advertising people like to get passionate.  

Real or not, it’s kind of nice to see that real passion isn’t dead. When the mood strikes, sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
