Everything A Music Video Needs: An Egg, Religious Symbolism, And Stoya

While I am one of those people who complain that MTV (which stands for Music Television) no longer plays music videos, I should really try to remember that the Internet has taken up that mantle and MTV isn’t needed anymore. Plus, the Internet gives artists a little more freedom with their videos. If you want butts, boobs, simulated sex, and a bunch of religious symbolism then go for it – just like Adanowsky did with his new music video, with a little help from pornstar Stoya.  

Adanowsky (who’s real name is Adán Jodorowsky) is the son of Chilean filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky who is well known for his avant-garde films. It would appear that Adanowsky is following in his father’s surreal footsteps when it comes to his concept for the video for his song “Would You Be Mine.” I could totally spend hours and hours dissecting the meaning of every single image in the video, but I’d rather just focus on Stoya's hotness. Throw all the symbolism you want in your video, but if you have a completely nude Stoya in the mix, it’s really going to be hard to focus on anything else.  

The song is actually a little catchy, but I think the video will be a bit more memorable. Also, I don’t know if Adanowsky has his heart set on calling the song “Would You Be Mine”, but he could also call the video “Butts, Butts, Butts.” That title works on so many different levels.
