Sex Worker Charlotte Rose Heads ‘Public Spankathon’ Protesting Porn Restrictions in England

Who wouldn't want to protest against a little bit of porn prohibiting tomfoolery? Charlotte Rose must have been thinking something along those lines when she organized the 'Spankathon' event in attempts to protest against The Audiovisual Media Services Regulation. Wait, say what? Yeah, that's just a fancy way of saying that she was protesting against a set of laws passed to abolish spanking and a number of other wild sex acts from UK porn screens. Who doesn't love a little bit of spanking every now and then?

Late last year, the The Audiovisual Media Services Regulation amended an old law to forbid certain acts in online porn, including caning, spanking, aggressive whipping, humiliation and other sex acts. Obviously, Charlotte wasn't too big on the government having the ability to tell her what she could and could not do.

“It’s not just about sexual freedom. The government is now coming into the bedroom and telling us what you can and can’t do when it’s between two consenting adults. It’s not immoral. Sex is up there as a basic human need. Whether people want to express themselves is up to them. And if they’re consenting, who’s to say they can’t?”

Charlotte knows what she's talking about, having won the ‘sex worker of the year’ award in 2013, alleging to have slept with over 1000 men, and she charges something like £180-an-hour for her services. While the results of her spank-worthy protest are unknown, we can definitely say that her cause was one that we'd be willing to support! Spank away my friends. Isn't it great to be an American?
