Comedian Amy Schumer Launches the Inevitable Tide of Ice Bucket Challenge Parodies

Amy Schumer is a comedian. She makes people laugh for a living. Therefore her job description includes not taking stuff too seriously, stuff like the self-righteous celebrity charity pseudo-event the Ice Bucket Challenge. You knew a parody was coming, well, here it is. Now prepared to get annoyed by the endless succession of them sure to come shortly. 

In the video, posted recently on Instagram (link below), the funny lady stands before the camera in a pair of granny panties and a bra, which is barely containing her abundant bosom. A good start, for sure, and then it gets better when she passes on the challenge to Don Rickles, Bob Newhart and Mel Brooks. I'd like to see any of those gentlemen back in the public eye, though maybe not in their underwear. Well, maybe in their underwear. 

Amy then reaches for the ice bucket at her side and—spoiler alert!—she takes out a container of soup. Get it? Well, you don't know it's soup quite yet, not until she pours it over her head and it drools down her half-naked body.
