Twenty Questions with Jenna J. Ross

Boston's own Jenna J. Ross has been fan favorite since she started in porn two years ago.  She has worked for many of the major production companies and that solid, high-quality work garnered her an AVN nomination for Unsung Starlet of the Year.  Her acting work always shines and Ross has been featured multiple times in Hustler's Barely Legal magazine, along with other publications.  Ross has a lot of talents and it's going to be great to see how porn uses her talents next.  Here she is answering twenty questions.

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I was the cheerleader and didn't fit in to my very liberal art school. I was focused on two things—class and sex. I would regularly find places on campus to use. Yes, I was a wild child.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

Before I got into the industry, I had definitely watched porn, but I never really focused on the details, like people’s names.

3) What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

I want to do more bondage-based porn. I adore being tied up and want to share that side of myself with everyone.

4) Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with and why?

I don't play favorites. Can't I just have them all? :)

5) You seem to really love your fans and respond to your fan base a lot on Twitter. Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.

Silly as it sounds I have a hard time accepting that I have "fans". I think of them more as friends, I guess. I just like getting to know people and learning their stories.

6) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

It depends on the penis and how it's angled. But, usually I like to be pinned down.

7) What directors/studios have you most enjoyed working for so far?

I love all aspects of my job and have been very lucky to work with some of the most amazing companies & directors in our industry. I have to mention Jacky St. James. I adore her and the love she puts into every movie or scene she writes and that truly sets her apart.

8) So why the middle initial in your stage name?

Before I got into porn, I dabbled in nude modeling. I had used the name Jenna Jinx and when I got into the industry my agent told me it was too “cute”. I didn't want to lose the Jinx part of my name, so I abbreviated it and added “Ross”, giving you Jenna J Ross. I also strive to be unique and stand out from the pack, and no other girl in the industry has a middle initial.

9) What are the best things about being a porn star?

Getting paid to do something I love. I love my job and my industry. I'll do this as long as they'll have me.

10) You really bring a lot of confident sexual energy to your performances. How did you evolve into the performer that you are today?

Three years in front of a camera brings a level of experience and it’s like they say "practice makes perfect". I’m always trying to top myself by pushing myself to be the best me I can be.

11) What do you think is your hottest scene overall?

I adore my “Little Miss Flexible” scene from Fantasy HD. I got to combine my gymnastics background with my porn experience, and it turned out amazing.

12) You hail from Boston. What is the biggest thing you find yourself missing about Beantown while you live your porn life in Los Angeles?

Fall!!! I miss the epic foliage that New England has.

13) Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

I look to those who are innovators within our industry, like Jacky St James, Mason and Bonnie Rotten. I also have a thing for bold women.

14) What do you most want to achieve as a porn star?

Ultimately, I want to bring sexual gratification to the world through beautiful and well made porn.

15) What's the best mainstream movie you have seen lately?

I'm too busy to watch anything, really.

16) What about your favorite porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

I don't really watch specific people's porn, except for my own. I mainly seek out gangbangs and other extreme sexual situations, when I do watch porn.

17) Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

Depends on my mood. I do love my Hitachi, though.

18) If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.

19) What is coming up for you?

I have my own movie coming out! Look for it in the next few months from Adult DVD Empire.
