FLESHBOT EXCLUSIVE–Twenty Questions with Sarah Shevon

Top hardcore performer Sarah Shevon has been given the title of "doctor" by AVN Hall of Famer/Evil Angel king gonzo director Joey Silvera for her ability to prolapse her insides to make compelling anal porno for him and she is the star of his latest release "Alien Ass Party".  She was nominated for five AVN Awards last year and given the strength of what she has been doing, there's probably at least one trophy in her future. 1) What kind of girl were you in high school? Who did you hangout with/date?  

In my first 2 years of high school I played volleyball and basketball, my school was small and wanted me to also play softball, not only so they could have more girls on the team but also so I could go for MVP. I tried it briefly but it was too slow-paced for me as a sport. I felt pretty popular in school at that time, mostly hung out with older students and got away with lots of things, because I played sports and I looked a lot older, and was hot. I almost started a mainstream modeling and acting career at 14 until I found out I had to be chaperoned everywhere. I started raving when I was 15 so in my last 2 years of high school and when I had a car, I focused on getting out of my small town area to rave my face-off and promote electronic dance music events, and in school I really didn’t associate myself with it so much. I redirected my focus at school on art and writing, and barely hung out with anyone from school. I purposely didn’t take a senior picture because I felt so disconnected, and I decided to attend a concert instead of my graduation ceremony. I never really dated the whole time I was in high school, and accepted that people were more interested in fucking me.  

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favortite porn stars/porn movies

I have an older brother, so I first started watching porn with him and his friends, not in a circle jerk way. We were all real young and just curious. I don’t think they even circle jerked without me. I remember admiring the women in the Playboy magazines or in scenes we stumbled upon, but I was too young to pay attention to it really or who they were, but I thought they were awesome. One time I took a bunch of centerfolds out of the magazines and stapled them all over my brother’s ceiling, I thought he’d like it but he didn’t. Later I mostly watched porn with boyfriends or other guys while fucking them. I feel very honored to have been nominated so many times, yet people within the industry and fans still tell me that I’m very underrated. I don’t see their opinions of me ever changing until I actually win something.

4)  What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?  

I’m kinda surprised that I haven’t been booked with Mandingo or Lexington Steele yet, I’d really like to take them in my ass. As for girls, I want to work with pretty much all of them so it’s hard to name them all, some of them at the top of my to-do list include Veruca James, Riley Reid, Anikka Albrite, Bonnie Rotten. I can definitely keep going on and on, I don’t know what anyone has an ultimate favorite. Variety is the spice of life, they say.     

6) You seem to really love your fans and respond to them a lot on Twitter. Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.  

I often get comments about how well I interact with fans, and about how I do not post enough photos/selfies and promote myself enough. It doesn’t make sense to not interact with fans, interacting with them is more important to me than posting selfies although they like that. They are my continued support after each shoot is over, and communication is the most powerful thing in any relationship so having a good relationship with them will only being me more joy and success in the future.  

7) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?  

Missionary is usually my favorite, my body tends to open up the most in this position and I am the most relaxed, and I can see what is going on.    

8) How is being a “doctor” for Joey Silvera? What is Joey Silvera like to work with?  

It’s awesome! Originally I was surprised that Joey Silvera kept wanting to keep the doctor theme up for me, and I was beginning to be somewhat afraid that fans would get tired of seeing me play the same character throughout many of his movies, however, Joey was really onto something with this and it quickly began to blossom from him recognizing my real potential when he had re-booked me per a fan suggestion via Twitter for “The Ass Party 5,” after having shot me once for “Face Fucking Inc.10” a few years prior when I was brand new to the Los Angeles area and still following along with what I thought people wanted me to do instead of being myself. The best part about being Dr. Shevon is that I can be myself, have fun and express my expertise in anal sex, focusing on the advancement and enjoyment of it for women. Although it’s an on-screen persona, I do actually try to help the girls I work with if there is anything that I might be able to teach them, and I just try to bring a high-level of intensity to the scenes to feed them into matching my energy and making them have ambition to push themselves. Working for Joey is always a blast, it really is like a party every time. When arriving to set he usually already bumping some electronic dance music mixes while he sets everything up himself, he is a one-man production aside from the make-up artists and talent, he is genuinely very into what he does and puts out really good vibes so that the talent feels comfortable to explore and really enjoy themselves. To me the enjoyment of the sex Joey shoots is really the highlight to him and his portrayal of it definitely shines through to the viewers. I’ve had many fan comments about how it seems like I can enjoy myself and my co-workers more thoroughly than usual in Joey Silvera’s films, this is true.  

9) What fetish do you have that you think your fans would be surprised by?  

I honestly can’t think of anything. I spend a lot of time with my fans while webcamming. Sometimes they’re surprised that I am dominant because of all the submissive/bottom work I’ve done earlier in my career.

10) What are the best things about being a porn star?

12) What do you think is your best scene from one of your other titles and what made it so exquisite for you?

I’d say one of my best scenes of all time would actually be my first non-solo. It was a 5 guy gangbang for PublicDisgrace.com inside the San Francisco Armory with a party of 30+ that all could fondle me. 13) Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?  

I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily trying to follow anyone else’s path, I’m on my own thing. The industry has been changing a lot and we’ve all been trying different things. I admire the longevity people’s careers when they’re still really going at it and are still into it, like Dana DeArmond. As far as performance goes I’ve already surpassed what I thought was biologically possible. I haven’t gone quite as far as Hot Kinky Jo, I think what she does is very fascinating but it’s not necessarily my goal.  

14) Your skill to expose your colon rose (AKA your Prolapse) is remarkable. What was the day you discovered you can do that like?  

I was filming “Anal Inferno #2,” after watching footage on prolapeparty.com the night before, in the scene I dug into my gaping butthole a little further than usual to pull the gape open because of what I saw the night before, then I pushed and my scene partners told me I was prolapsing, I didn’t really believe that I was really doing it until I saw the movie trailer.      

15) What is the best mainstream movie you’ve seen recently?  

Lately, I’ve only scene Captain America and Spiderman 2, I don’t feel that strongly about one or the other.

16) How about best porno movie? Is there someone whose movie you like to watch who is working now?  

I’m most into watching the scenes that I’m in, more in a research kind of way, but I don’t usually get around to watching them.    

17). Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech women?  

I’ve always really loved devices, I am great with my fingers but toys are more powerful, add way more diversity to masterbation, and aid in preventing the wrist injuries I may have if I were finger banging only.
