Retro Pinups by Mark Lacy

With all the scary sex toys and celebrity gash flashing we've been seeing here lately, isn't it nice to know that sometimes the more innocent things in life can be sexy too? Photographer Mark Lacy is pretty obsessive in his detailed retro pinup photos: from the girdles to the rocket bras to the furniture and coiffures, his models are the perfect pictures of period glamour. Lacy helpfully divides his stable of sirens into four separate galleries, though we'll have to take his word on those Ravishing Redheads since all of his photos are in black and white. It's the kind of hotness that can best be admired with a martini in hand, so it's a good thing his photos are currently on view at the Belmont Lounge in New York City through December 21. We promise those monster dildos and gash flashing will still be here when you get back.- AR
