Porn director/photographer Holly Randall hosts an excellent podcast "Holly Randall Unfiltered" which is now available for viewing/listening to on Adult Time. The weekly podcast is over two years and has been downloaded over a million times by porn fans in the know. Here's what Randall had to say abotu getting her very own Adult Time channel.

Hello, Holly! How are you? How are things going?
"Really, really great. I’m a little overwhelmed at the moment, trying to complete all my shoots and projects before I leave the country on vacation in early October, but I’m grateful to be busy! "

Congratulations on your weekly podcast "Holly Randall Unfiltered" becoming its own Adult Time channel! How does it feel with that being a thing now?
"It’s still so strange... it still feels so new to me. I remember earlier this year I hosted a seminar for Bella French at AVN, and they introduced me not as a photographer or director, but as “podcaster” and I almost looked over my shoulder, wondering who they were referring to. I still almost feel as if I’m talking into the ether when I do my show— I have a hard time believing so many people listen to it."

What do you love most about your show? What do you feel that it does well?
"I love that it enables me to sit down and really engage in a conversation with my colleagues. I love that it has expanded my horizons and taught me so much about different people with different points of view, struggles, and victories. I love that it has given me pause and taught me to listen. I really want my show to be a place where people can feel safe and talk about their lives: whether their story is funny, insightful, triumphant, or tragic. My guests are usually people who work in the adult industry, and I think my show has been a great way to prove to the world how varied and fascinating the people who I work with are. I want to change the way that people see the porn industry, and judging from the feedback I’ve gotten from my listeners, it seems that it has— at least for some people."

What plans do you have for the show now that it has this new audience?
"I’d like to mix it up and bring in more sex educators, and hopefully help people realize and embrace their own sexuality. I would also like to improve the video quality as well, which is something I’m working on upgrading."

What do you look for in a guest for your show? What makes a great podcast guest?
"There are several things I look for in a podcast guest... first of all, they have to be a good conversationalist. It doesn’t matter if it’s a super popular porn star or if they have millions of followers on social media— they have to be interesting in an auditory medium. Then I look at what they are all about: what kind of message do they have to share? What kind of experiences have they had which could be valuable to talk about? The guest can be funny, smart, experienced or even somewhat tragic— they just need to be interesting, and hopefully deliver an inspiring message as well."

Why did you create the show in the first place? What kind of stories did you want to tell?
"I created the show because I wanted to have a space where people who work in the sex industry could freely express who they really are. Not the fantasy, not the carefully curated social media image— who they truly are. I’m interested in telling all kinds of stories, as long as they are authentic."

Who have been your favorite guests on your show so far?
"That is so hard to say, because I’ve loved almost every episode, and for different reasons. If I had to choose one favorite, it would be my very first episode, where I interview my parents, Suze Randall and Humphry Knipe. It’s a great peek into porn history, and gives people an idea of where I come from and how I developed my work ethic and style. Plus my parents are just really interesting, and hilarious to boot. Otherwise some of my other favorites would be Angela White, Dani Daniels, Mike Quasar, Christopher Ryan, Xander Corvus, Asa Akira, Small Hands, Joanna Angel, Bree Mills... I could literally go on forever. I’ve had so many incredible interviews. "

Movie wise, what should fans be ready to see from you?
"My latest movie from Wicked Pictures, Stranger Than Fiction, is coming out in the next few weeks. And I’m about to start filming my next Wicked movie this weekend. And even though I know they aren’t full movies, I’m incredibly proud of some of the Treat of the Month content I’ve been shooting for Twistys— just last week I filmed probably the best footage I’ve ever done for them. So definitely keep a look out for that, it’ll be for the November Treat of the Month, who of course I cannot reveal yet."

What else is coming up for you? What should fans be looking for?
"I’m trying really hard to finish shooting for my independent art book, but finding the time between all the other projects and client obligations that I have is quite challenging.
