Quinton James Makes The Ladies Quiver and He Answers Our Sweet Sinner Queries

Get to know this delightful and dashing fellow from across the pond!

We caught up with hunky model and porn stud Quinton James to answer our burning questions and talk about his new movie Toxic, due out from Sweet Sinner in August.

Tell us about Toxic and your past and present work for Sweet Sinner in general. What drew you to the project/company?

'Toxic was a script Jacky St James and I spoke about for a few months. I always play the 'hot' guy or the dad, or the woman comes on to the guy, he resists. It's wrong and then he gives in and they have sex. These characters I feel are generic to porn and  are played a lot. I wanted something different, I wanted to show a range of emotion. I wanted to get angry, I wanted to play the real selfish asshole, I wanted to push myself as an actor rather than a porn star. So that became the beginning of Toxic.

And it's one if the most diverse scripts I've ever done, throughout shooting I actually felt a roller coaster of emotions, before and after certain scenes I would have to take a moment to get back into reality, even Jacky said she hasn't seen me like this with any other script I've done for her, and we work together a lot, which I hope came across on camera. Aila Donovan was the perfect partner for this, not only is she a great performer and actress, but because Toxic hit us both in different ways with pieces of our personal pasts. This script really hit home for both of us.'

Tell us about your own journey to porn and how you ended up on that path.

'˜My journey into porn I feel was always destined to happen lol, just the person I am, the way my mind works. It kind of just fell in my lap and I ran with it, how long this journey will be, I don't know but I will always give 110% every time.'

How did you pick your porn name? What were some rejected porn names, if you had any?

'I work for a companion agency called Cowboys4angels and they picked the name Quinn for me, so I just adapted off that and Quinton was born, the last name James I've always like, it was always going to be a last name for me if I ever had a stage name of any sort.'

What's your favorite scene that you've shot recently and why?

'Toxic is 100% one of the best scenes I feel I've shot, I also just shot a scene with Joanna Angel called 'l love you, you're fired' that was really fun and funny. But those are more features with multiple scenes, just pin pointing one scene is tough. I do really love Bellesa Films and its passion, it's more real, no opening up to the camera what happens naturally is what you get, no stop-start with sex, I really like that.'

What did you want to do as a career/calling earlier in your life?

'Before porn, I've been involved in theatre most my adult life, for the past 18 years. I've performed as a singer, dancer, actor on cruise ships and a wedding singer in England.

When I moved to Vegas I was in shows on the strip for 10 years, then along side shooting porn too, it was the pandemic that really slowed that entertainment side down. But in a nut shell-- entertainment. I went to college to study and train in musical theatre.'

What is your favorite adult film of all time and why?

'I don't really have a favorite adult film. As a consumer I like to watch clips rather than the full movie LOL. But I did watch Deadpool XXX and a movie Deeper produced and they were both really great. I do love acting and want to pursue more of that in my career.'

What is the last book you read/listened to? Do you recommend it? Why or why not?

'The last book I read was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory like 15 years ago, I listen to podcasts or crime books on tape. I love murder mystery type things.'

One of my favorite things about watching porn is looking at everyone's ink-- can you tell us about your tattoos/body mods? Any future pieces planned?

' I appreciate the you appreciate my ink! There is definitely a story behind it. I have a microphone and piano as I play and sing. The clock is the time my son was born, 11:17 am. He's now four years old. The eye on my inner arm was my Dad's eye and he sadly passed away a year before my son was born so it's almost like he's looking down over him, looking over the clock on my forearm. I would definitely get more, I've been thinking of a half sleeve on my other arm, so we will see...'

What are five music albums/CDs you'd need to have if you were stuck on a desert island?

'I'd have to have Queen that's a no brainer. Some Foreigner, some Journey. Everything 80s pretty much, I could listen to that for decades.'

What's your favorite 'treat yo self' kind of thing when you need a pick me up?

'Shopping LOL. I like to buy things. I do love name brands especially with accessories like shoes, belts, watches, bags. So I am a little bougie when it comes to that. Stress relievers are sex, the gym and playing the piano.'

What's the strangest thing we'd find in your car if you emptied it right now?

'Probably kids junk and melted chocolate or something like that, I'm such a Dad, ha ha. Nothing really exciting.'

What's your favorite meal?

'Gotta be sushi! I looooove sushi !'

What are your hobbies and passions outside work?

'I'm competitive so anything competitive, from beer pong to volleyball, to basketball or soccer.'

What's your favorite dinosaur and why?

'There's a made up dinosaur I call Lickalotapuss'¦ Because'¦ I love to lick a lot of puss! haha. I made myself laugh at this question- I'm probably the only one. ;)'

Since we're all kind of wanderlust-y right now-- where is your dream vacation? What does that look like? Where would you go and what activities would you be seeking?

'Hawaii has been on my list forever. I've only been there for like 3 days over 10 years ago when I worked on a cruise ship.'

What qualities do you look for in a romantic partner?

'Understanding, communication and an open mindset. But to achieve that there needs to be so much love for one another that nothing else really matters, but still be able to do what makes each the other happy, while being happy and healthy together.'

Who and what inspires your fashion choices? What are three wardrobe pieces that are essential for you?

"I'm British so I've always had 'that look'. I would choose a nice belt, watch and shoes/sneakers, skinny jeans and a fitted t-shirt...Always."

In porn you have so much skin on display at all times and it has to look great on camera. What sorts of techniques and products do you use to keep your body skin looking flawless?

'I'm starting to take a lot of vitamins, as well as supplements for muscle growth, burning fat and repairing your muscles quicker. I'm 34 so I feel I need a little boost. I could for sure eat better but I do have good genetics on my side so that's good. As for skin products, I always moisturize my face, scrub my body and that's pretty much it.'

What sort of scenes are you looking to make more of in the future? What projects are on the table for you right now?

' As I said I love passion, I love pleasing so anything in the department of just let the camera role and do whatever we want is great. I have my first feature with Deeper coming up so I'm excited to see what that brings.'

Is there anything you'd like to say to your fans??

'I just want to say thank you so much for supporting me on this journey I hope you continue to support me and follow me, and this job couldn't be done with out you guys! Because if there were no fans there would be no porn so thank you! And always be true to who you are, never let anyone ever tell you otherwise. Stand up for what you believe in, pick your battles and try to enjoy life. We only have on shot! So make it count.'
