Throwback Thursday: Comedy and Sex Make an Arresting Combo in New Sensations’ “Reno 911: A XXX Parody”

If This Cop Car is Rockin’, Don’t Bother Calling 911

The year was 2010 and porn parodies proudly strode the earth, allowing fans to watch rough approximations of their favorite media characters having sex with one another! It was a glorious time and New Sensations was there. Reno 911: A XXX Parody earned four AVN Award nominations and the parody-savvy director Lee Roy Myers proved once again that he knows how to mix sexy and hilarious with brilliant results.

Size counts, and this erotic comedy clocks in at an impressive almost three hours. That’s because there’s a lot of dialogue, much of it clever and worth the watch if you’re a fan of the original mainstream-ish production. Frankly, it’s a great porn flick to watch with one or more friends because there is so much plot and so many of the scenes resemble their inspiration. If you’re already a fan of the now-syndicated comedy series you’ll love what Lee Roy Myers has done with it. If you have no idea what the hell Reno 911 is, you’ll probably want to check it out. If you have genitals and libido, you’ll want to make sure you don’t mistake the hand sanitizer for the lube.

I’m not sure there’s actually a “plot” per se in Reno 911: A XXX Parody. Instead, it’s a series of witty skits with quality sex scenes where everyone stays in character sprinkled throughout. If that’s not your bag, baby, then this is probably not the parody for you. For the dedicated porn fan, this is a wonderful stroke down memory lane. Jada Fire plays a smoldering Raineesha, Violet Monroe makes an adorable Trudi, Jessica Lynn as Clemmy exists primarily for her cleavage and entrapment sex scene, Tyler Knight is the suave Jones, Jack Lawrence is the short shorts-wearing lead cop Dangle, Mr. Pete sports aviator shades and a bulletproof vest as Junior, and Natasha Nice is the new cop all the guys want to fuck.

Some of the most amusing moments aren’t between the cops. Screenplay writer and AVN Award-nominated non-sex performer Eddie Adams is a hoot as a weirdo waiting in the park for his unbelievably hot girlfriend, Bobbi Starr. He’s been accused of exposing himself, so the cops are suspicious. When said hot girlfriend actually appears, the cops fade back when she whips out a gun. Then James Deen’s cock makes a stunt appearance after Eddie gets Bobbie onto a picnic table for some joyful fucking that includes anal and a facial. For instance, when Violet and Jack investigate a domestic abuse call and prove just what horrible cops they are, they leave the scene of the crime and arrive in the briefing room an hour early. What to do? What to do? Jack’s character is pretty dim, so Violet has to literally spell it out for him. “What’s a seven-letter word for ‘come over here and fuck me?’” she asks before taking delightful control of the situation and her orgasms.
