Elexis Monroe interview

This year has been a career-changer for Elexis Monroe. Having left Sweetheart Video as their first and only contract girl, this
often over-looked starlet is quickly becoming the new glamour girl for
Girlfriends Films. From her stunning appearances in the Pin-Up Girl series to her lead role in their foreign-based Budapest episodes, Elexis is, for the first time, showing the industry that she
is more than "the girl next door" type with "the girl next door" looks.
Given the opportunities, Elexis can act circles around the best women in
this industry. I have always considered her to be one of the best
actresses. She deserves to be noticed and appreciated. Moreover, Elexis
is also excited in hopefully, getting her hands on some directing duties
in the future. Studios who continue to dismiss her talents are making a
huge mistake and a disservice to their loyal fans. Their films need
her.

Hi Elexis, how long have you been in the industry, what have been your
most pleasurable moments? What has been your least pleasurable?

Hi Apache, I've been in the business 10 years. That's
from the time I started getting naked in front of a camera to now. My
most pleasurable moments have been the girls I've got to meet over the
years. The quality friendships I've made, the wonderful companies I've
worked with, the great work and projects I've done, getting to travel
the world shooting, and last but most importantly, meeting the fans or
the viewers that enjoy my work. Least pleasurable have been girls
showing up with infections, cancellations, rumors, gossip, negative
bullshit, and falling outs with people I cared about over time.

How did you get into the adult industry?

This is a boring story, nothing crazy or random. I've
always loved taking pictures. I'm sure most know this. LOL. When I was
around 20, I really wanted to try and become a 'figure' model. See, at
that time I thought 'figure' meant Victoria Secret sort of stuff. So one
day I came across and ad in the newspaper for world modeling. "To
become a full figure model, come in for a free test shoot" or something
of the sort. My boyfriend at the time drove me to LA and I walked into
World. Once I walked in the door, I realized it wasn't Victoria Secret
stuff they were shooting. I saw hundreds and hundreds of naked people on
the walls. After talking to Jim, I decided 'the hell with it' lets take
a few Polaroids and see what happens. It just went from there. I
started doing magazines and random shows, projects later moving into
Girl-Girl movies. The first person I ever shot with was Matt Magiera
for MattsModels.

Currently, your performance and especially, your glamorous appearance
in Pin-Up Girls 5 has garnered much fan excitement and raving reviews.
It is great that you are being seen more often in Girlfriends Films
productions. What was it like to work on that set and to wear those
vintage lingerie?

Awe. Thank you. I really hope the fans enjoy having me in the series.
It's a wonderful series, with a concept I'm extremely fond of. It was an
honest pleasure to shoot the Pin Up series. I hope I get to take part in
it again. The truth is, I enjoy shooting features and things of that
nature more so than regular scenes. I've really had a hard on for acting
lately, different roles, parts, dialogue, accents, etc. I enjoy period
pieces very much. I would love to go to work every day and wear
different costumes, wardrobe with unique creative dialogue, and make
something beautiful from scratch. I enjoy doing new things, stuff not
every single company is shooting, and costumes that make the imagination
wonder is always a good thing. Besides, what girl doesn't LOVE Vintage?
I think she might have to be crazy NOT to. VIntage and Pin Up give me a
turn on.

I'm glad that you enjoy seeing me more in GFF productions. I hope to
do many more. I feel all the scenes I've done since I've been back have
been wonderful scenes with amazing girls. I'm happy.

In the past few years, you have been known primarily as a Girl/Girl
only performer, but you have seen action in some Boy/Girl movies such as
in the Exchange Student films and The Doctor. Do you plan to make more
Boy/Girl (BG) performances? What traits of a woman do you admire most? What
makes a woman sexy? What traits of a man do you admire most? What makes a
man sexy?

Hee Hee... I knew this question was coming. Yes, I did BG
work this past year. I love men, I just prefer women. People have called
me a 'manhater' which is not the case. I just feel more emotionally and
sexually connected to women. I have most of my life. Years and years
back, I did a handful of BG scenes that I hated. I wasn't enjoying
myself, they were with men I wouldn't fuck with a ten foot pole in my
off camera life, and my heart wasn't in it. I decided..... nope. Not for
me. When I went under contract for Sweetheart, we talked about and I
decided I wanted to try and do some BG. I tossed this in my head for
awhile.

The truth is I like shooting BG, just depends what kind of BG.
After I talked to Nica, I felt it would be good to do some BG. Sure, I
might upset a few fans, but gain so many more. Also, I believed in the
BG Nica was shooting. She was going in a different direction, and it was
something I wanted to be a part of. I had a lot of control over my
partners and I felt the features were really great features. We did some
amazing work. More importantly, I wanted fans and other studios to see
that I AM a good performer. No matter who I am paired with, I always
give my entire self when I'm filming. For that hour or two, I want to
shut off the world and make some steamy smoking beautiful kinky hot sex.
I wanted fans to see that, and see that even in Boy-Girl, PORN can be
seductive, romantic, passionate, and yes 'love making' and such. The
scene I did with Marco in Exchange Student 2 was amazing. He told me
afterwards I was the best scene he had ever had in his entire career
filming. That was a huge compliment to me. That could also be because I
enjoy what I'm doing. Its not just for a paycheck, I love what I do and
want the best out of every scene I do.

Will I shoot more BG, I don't know. I have not filmed a BG scene since Feb with Sweet Sinner.

As far as women I like so much, my favorite things are
personality, eyes, smells, feet, smiles, humor, hygiene, independence,
loyalty, chemistry, compassion, honesty, breasts, legs, and so on.....
What makes a woman sexy? Confidence. Laughter.

As far as men, I like them strong, independent, caring, loving,
humorous, NON-judgmental, loyal, fresh, spontaneous and so on. Similar
to the same as women. What makes a man sexy? Passion. Respect.
Happiness.

What has been the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry?

The fans. If you're in this business and you
connect with your fans, they will be some of the most loyal and amazing
fans in the world. No matter what, they will. Other than that, people.
I've been around for a while, when people weren't so perverted, sick, and
twisted. LOL. Another surprise has been how many gay for pay girls there are.

Are there any industry people (actors,
actresses, directors, etc.) who you have not had the opportunity to work
with yet and want to very badly and why? What would be your dream
scene?

Indeed there is. I really want to branch out and
work with all the big companies. Juliland, Holly Randall. Do
some fetish, bondage, parodies, and stuff. I want to do some wild out of
the box stuff. Let's get crazy. I really just want to try and promote
myself to every available avenue I have while I'm still in this business.
I want to be put to the limit and make something different. I also want
to get casted and play different roles. Sometimes, I feel I'm booked or
looked at as 'The Girl Next Door Lesbian' which I AM and that's
great..... but I am so many other things. Just trust me.

I really want to do something dark. A horror movie, something
with darker roles, or a VAMPIRE movie.... hint hint. That's my goal!! I
want to work with everyone, pretty much.

My dream scene is to have amazing sex with numerous orgasms,
and one final orgasm so intense I pass out. Just briefly though... and I
know you know what kind of orgasm I'm talking about.

How were you as a kid growing up?

As a kid growing up, I had fun. I was a good kid
mostly, and a pain in the ass teenager. I was a tomboy and a dare devil.
I spent a lot of time with my siblings and being independent which I
believe is two of the things that have made me the person I am today. I
love my family and friends to death.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Spending time with my mini, dance music, reading,
going for walks, hiking, photography, going to shows/dancing, animals,
history, vampires, period pieces, the beach, traveling, the outdoors,
sex, orgasms, water, fire, hitachi, strap ons, kissing, biting, and good
food. I've been turned onto Yoga the last few months. I would like to
start getting more into it and have it as part of my daily routine. It
has helped me in so many ways. I want to start doing belly dancing and
possibly feature dancing at some clubs.

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?

The fans. The performers who I work with. The locations that I get
to see. The companies that I get to work with. Being able to do something I
enjoy for a living and feel good about. Showing people that anyone can
be an 'adult performer' or have great sex, even the 'girl next door, or
down the street'. :) All that and you see some crazy shit too. It makes for
good camp fire stories.

Are there any web sites or future projects that you would like to promote? What are you currently working on film wise?

Yes, all the people I work for and my movies!!! I
want to launch my own website. Hopefully that will be coming soon. I
want to tell everyone to check out the Budapest series with Girlfriends
Films. It's a series of movies we shot with myself and the owner of
Girlfriends Films (GFF)
when we went to Budapest this past July. We got to shoot all the
beautiful women there and the final project I believe is wonderful. I
think that it's going to be a fantastic series, with lots of ethnic
beauties
and babes such as Sandra Shine, Liza, Peaches, Cindy Hope, Sophie Moon
and more! We have just returned from there to shoot more of the series. Also, I had a great time at the Venus Berlin show and meeting my fans. I got to sign with Dia Zerva.

I'm shooting a lot of photo content and working on some new stuff
so you should see it soon. I'm really hoping to write more or do more
camera work. I love filming. Until my site is up, you can find me on all
your regular sites and forums as Elexis Monroe.

Also, Elexis Unleashed 2 is being released. It's with Sweetheart Video (SHV)
and it's the last GG movie I shot with them. It was shot in February earlier
this year and it stars some of the best performers this industry has to offer -
Alexis Texas, Kristina Rose, and Lexi Belle. All the scenes were great,
strong, powerful, and sexy as hell. Please check it out if you get a

Then again, who knows I might go back to school and get a full
time job. Fall of the face of the porn earth... and then what?!!? Laugh
out loud... I guess you'll have to check in with me and find out. You
never know what tomorrow or next year brings.

making movies for the world to see and the feedback I get never seems to
