The XCritic Interview: Sinn Sage, Drake Man O’ War, & Courtney Trouble

XCRITIC

As an interviewer and reviewer, I am, for the most part, impartial. It’s a fact of doing business the right way.

However, … I do have some favorites, friends, and people I know and genuinely like, outside of the reviewing stuff. Sinn Sage and Courtney Trouble are near the top of that list. I’ve always liked Drake Man O’ War too, although up until now, I’ve never had a chance to talk with him or really get to know the guy. Through this interview, I’m happy I was finally able to do so.

Sinn Sage has been an icon in girl/girl since the early 2000s, and Courtney Trouble entered the biz around 2007. But even before they were in the adult industry, both were perfectly suited for the roles they are playing now, as was Drake.

All three value their independence, time, and expect a quality of life that defines many independent producers, and they have surrounded themselves with other people who share the same mindset. These are the kind of personality traits that are difficult to hide, and even if they could, I doubt any would want those bits to become diminished.

So, they forge ahead, doing what they love to do, and making the kind of porn that they want to make … and it’s something that resonates with more people than just me. They are truly a unique group of Indie creators, and I’m happy and proud to know them as friends.

A few weeks ago, we all sat down for an hour-long group zoom chat. Here is the transcript of our conversation.

***

Jim Steele - Hey, Courtney, what's up?

Courtney Trouble - I miss you.

Drake Man O' War - I miss you too.

Jim Steele - You're awesome. And Drake, it's nice to finally meet with you and see you.

Drake Man O' War - Yeah. It's a pleasure. Thank you.

Sinn Sage - Yay.

Courtney Trouble - Hi, Sinn.

Sinn Sage - Hey.

Jim Steele - One big happy group.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah, we're a family.

Jim Steele - And I appreciate you guys so very much. You don't even know how much.

Courtney Trouble - It's good to see your face, Jim.

Jim Steele - You too. You're bright and sunshiny today.

Courtney Trouble - I'm glad that you think so because I kind of feel sick, so …

Jim Steele - All right, well, I will pretend that you don't feel sick.

Courtney Trouble - Oh, we are all pretending I don't feel sick right now.

Jim Steele – Okay,  I want to talk about TROUBLE films and Sinn Sage Studios. Sinn and Courtney, you've shot with any number of top-shelf studios, but here lately there's been a move towards working under your own labels. And it's creating a unique brand of lesbian, trans, and queer. And now with the latest with Drake, not only girl/girl, lesbian, but boy/girl as well. So, I'm curious how that whole mindset occurred to do this.

Courtney Trouble - It almost feels like a deeply personal connection between Sinn, Drake, and I brought us to this moment in time.

Sinn Sage - I would agree with that.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah. I remember when you first reached out to me to start shooting independently, I was really excited and honored, and I just couldn't believe you were interested. I remembered you saying “No, I really want to make queer porn. I want this to be my thing.” And we've been creating ever since. I think we've done six scenes together.

Sinn Sage - At least, yeah.

Courtney Trouble - And then back in 2016 or so, we did the first scene with Drake and you, and I called "Love and Lust.”

Sinn Sage - Yes. And to me, that was like a revelation. It was an incredible scene that even if there weren’t cameras there it was just this awesome vibe of joy, sexual fun, and connectedness. So that's probably one of my favorite scenes.

Courtney Trouble - Me too. I remember beforehand you were just being like, "I really just want you to let loose." I'm like, "Yes!" and we let loose. I got double penetrated by a strap-on and Drake's cock, which was a revelation in sexuality and desire. So, when it comes to strap-on, the "Strap-on Threesomes" movie is probably my favorite because it's with you guys.

Drake Man O' War - Yeah.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, because you got to have both of us.

Courtney Trouble - I've been there before; I know what that feels like. I know that your guests are very well taken care of.

Sinn Sage - Oh. For us, yes, this made sense in the evolution of what we make. I just want to do the things that are meaningful to me and that I find to be sexy and joyful. And then I'm just trusting that it will resonate for other people too.

Jim Steele – A minute ago you mentioned 2016. So, there wasn’t really anything of having to work to this to get to this point. You guys just felt an immediate connection that this is going to be cool, and that this is what we want to do?

Sinn Sage – Oh yeah, for sure.

Courtney Trouble - I mean, I was definitely a little bit shy around Drake at first, but...

Jim Steele - Okay, so why is that? Because I'm just getting to know Drake. But is Drake intimidating? Because you were, what, in MMA? You were a fighter, right?

Courtney Trouble – No, not intimidating like scary. I mostly do girl/girl and lesbian scenes. And in my real life, I don't really play with cis men and their cocks very often.

Jim Steele - I see.

Courtney Trouble - So yeah, for my scene with the two of them, I definitely think we worked up to it because Sinn and I shot a few times together with Drake on camera. And of course, we hang out before, afterwards. We spent some time in Vegas together, we've all had food together and stuff like that. So, I think for me it was like working up a little bit of trust to work with a cis man. And what better experience for one of my first girl/boy is to just have my friend there. And so being with Sinn is a very comfortable situation for someone like me who's bisexual but more into women and trans people and stuff. So yeah, my experience was that I definitely thought Drake was super sexy and attractive and has a nice dick and is Sinn's husband, so that's like bonus points.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. I felt like our friendship and then you knowing me and who I've become as a person and knowing that this is the most important person in my life and just trusting that through me that you would be safe. So, I don't think that either of us took it lightly, that level of trust. I think it worked out just so beautifully like that. And I'm curious, Drake, how were all of those aspects for you?

Drake Man O' War - Well, it was lots of new things. I haven't been in this industry for very long. I haven't worked with a whole lot of other people other than Sinn. And Courtney is a huge part of our lives. So, jumping into that with that knowledge, and knowing this was going to turn into something bigger and a lot more elaborate down the line was a lot of pressure. {Courtney Laughing} I don't want to prove… to Courtney specifically, but the hesitation with working with me obviously has changed dramatically since the first time. I remember having a conversation with you afterwards about it, and not knowing how you felt before the scene, but finding out after that I was kind of a new venture for you, in a sense. So, it was great. {Courtney and Sinn smiling softly} It's about a relationship and we've become so close since then. It's wonderful.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah, definitely.

Jim Steele - But how long did you all know each other before deciding to shoot? Were you fairly well acquainted in your circles, or was it years in the making as far as being acquainted before you decided to converge, if you will?

‘I’m always interested to know how people meet up and start to collaborate. Sometimes, it happens purely by chance, and then never occurs again. But with these three, the journey has been ongoing, and comes from a deeply held and important friendship. From the back-and-forth banter and funny jabs at one another, it is clear that this group are very good friends, and to take it one step further, that friendship and comfort level shines through in the work they do together, whether it’s in front of or behind the camera.

Courtney mentioned that Drake does a lot of the editing. To some, that might not sound like a lot, but whenever someone is entrusted with an edit, you are placing your work in their hands, and hoping they will return a finished product that meets or exceeds all expectations. Much of the process is technical expertise, but a fair amount relies on intuition, knowing the performers, understanding their aim, and adding personal touches to the film that visibly enhance that the work of a performer, and this is where the friendship comes into play. At key moments during the process, the group already understands what the others are trying to get, and it shows in an edit done by trusted hands.

With that in mind, among so many other things, it’s easy to see how a group of friends can not only come together in a professional way but continue that relationship as years go by.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, I think it was years in the making is a good way of putting it. I had definitely known of Courtney's work, and because I always had this sort of desire or drive to be a little more involved in just the queer aspect of making lesbian porn or queer porn. I was very aware of Courtney and her work. And so, I remember the first time we met, and I was like, "Oh my God, it's you. Yes, I really would love to work with you," and just having no idea that I was even on Courtney's radar at all. It just an honor just to be able to shoot with them.

Courtney Trouble - Meanwhile I had seen you in "Strapped Dykes" and other videos. I have been following you for a long time just because you're this hot femme with a big dick, and you just really move your body so beautifully and you're so sexy. Your scenes are amazing. I had always wanted to hire Sinn. I was just like, "Oh, first I got to raise the money and I need a good project or whatever." And the first thing I was able to put her in, I think, was this scene that was supposed to be two separate scenes, but turned into one big four-girl orgy, a four-person orgy. We called it "Girl Pile".

Sinn Sage - Oh, yeah.

{Sinn and Courtney laughing}

Courtney Trouble – It ended up being called one of the greatest lesbian porn movies of all time. Well, it's not lesbian because Nikki Hearts is in it. So, it's a queer porn film for sure, but it's just so non-scripted and free-flowing improv. You guys are really just having a really good time and having a lot of fun. So, that was a dream working with you on that production. But then when we finally got to perform together, that was just another step. And we've shot in my bedroom, which was very intimate. I was in grad school. You were traveling through with Drake, and we're like, "Let's do a content trade." And that felt very personal and loving. I don't know what year that was, maybe 2015 or 2016, but it took a couple of years because the first film you released through the TROUBLE Films label was in 2019.

Sinn Sage - Are you serious? It was then?

Courtney Trouble - So all of this stuff has happened in the past two or three years. That's it?

Sinn Sage - Yeah. Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - But we have been performing together for such a long time.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - A slow burn.

Sinn Sage - Exactly.

Jim Steele - I don't know that I got all of Drake's answer or not. I won't use the word intimidating because I think that we already went through that. But Drake, what were your thoughts? Sinn is this big star, an A-level looking performer, and Courtney's over here and you guys are married. So, was there ever any kind of trepidation on your part into expanding, if you will, into what you guys are doing now?

Drake Man O' War - No. When I decided to get into this industry with Sinn I said, "I'm going headfirst, I'm going all in and we're going to do all the things that we want to do." I don't know if there was any really worry. It was more along the lines of making everything look good. So, me being so new I was kind of just thrown into it. They helped me through this, and they continue to do so. Honestly, the only part of that was a learning curve, was just understanding everything. They're great. I do anything and everything with them and that's not going to end anytime soon. We're going to keep expanding and pushing our own sexual limits and enjoying every bit of it.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. And I mean, I think that's interesting because these scenes in this movie that we just came out with, this is really personal for us because this is what it’s like in our non-on-camera life. We love having a woman come into our bed and that's just like a personal joy for us.

Drake Man O' War - So we were able to treat this movie exactly like our personal life. I said it and I'll say it again - this is how we have fun with other people. And yeah, there was no performing, it was pure enjoyment with all of it.

Jim Steele - Because when I talked with Sinn... When did we interview? Was that in, what, February, March, maybe something like that?

Sinn Sage - Yeah, probably. I've been doing a lot of interviews lately, so I can't really remember.

Jim Steele - Well, you would think that you would remember this one, but that's okay. Haha (Post Note, I interviewed Sinn in October of 2021, which makes it worse that I couldn’t remember either.) But your name came up, Drake, and I edited it out of that interview at her request, but it was only because of the way it was worded. And the question (Question to Sinn) was, “Is the reason you don't shoot more boy/girl because you're married?” The answer was no. But the bigger answer was because the guy that she's attracted to is you. But she didn't want it to come off sounding like, “Oh, that means I don't like guys, or I'm not into guys.” That's not the case at all. So, I thought it was a really sweet answer and is what you just brought up, with this being how your personal life really works. I think really adds to that and fills out that answer even more.

Drake Man O' War - Oh, yeah. I think the only person that likes females as much as I do is Sinn. She just loves exactly what I love, probably more. I don't understand it fully, but she has the fun that I dream of having, and we're doing the same exact thing at the same time. If that gives you any indication as to how I feel about everything.

Courtney Trouble - There's like a reverse penis envy going on, Haha!

Drake Man O' War - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - Fascinating.

Drake Man O' War - I mean, I'm lucky to be where I'm sitting right now. I don't know how I got here, because the way she feels about most men is not how she feels about me at all.

Sinn Sage - Obviously.

{Sinn and Drake smiling goofy towards each other}

Drake Man O' War - I do not understand it. I'm the luckiest person in the world because I just don't understand how I got to this place.

Sinn Sage - Well, it's because you're a handsome man and a wonderful human being and I just couldn't help but fall in love with you.

Drake Man O' War - I'll take it ... {Group Smiling and Laughing}

Jim Steele - It's a modern-day love story over here.

Courtney Trouble - And you both love fucking women.

Drake Man O' War - We do.

Sinn Sage - A lot.

Courtney Trouble - It's a beautiful thing!

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Jim Steele - Yeah, I thought that was a really sweet part of the interview and the way it came off, without Drake being in the room, for Sinn to say, "Ooh, I'm not into guys." But she's into you, my friend. And so, I thought that was really, really cool.

Drake Man O' War – I’ve got what every other man in the world doesn't, I guess. I don't know what that is, but I own it.

Jim Steele - But it definitely shows in the movie. And when I reviewed it, the press release is right on target. Because normally with a threesome - you guys tell me I'm wrong - the number one complaint is what? That somebody feels left out.

Sinn Sage, Courtney & Drake - Yes. {All in agreement and nodding heads Yes}

https://xcritic.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Videoshop_2022-07-29_21-43-44-487-1.mp4

Jim Steele - And I think that you guys, the way that you approached that, that didn't even remotely appear to be an issue at all.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. And I would say that when we have threesomes in any sense, I don't ever really feel left out. I don't think that's a feeling that enters the vibe of the room. There's so much to enjoy that I never feel at a loss for “What should I do now. They're fucking. What should I do?” I'm just like, I'm gonna get in there and put my hands on things. So, it's just like, as long as you want all of what's happening to be happening, there's never any reason why anyone should feel left out, in my opinion. So that should be the goal of a threesome, I think.

Jim Steele - I do have one question, if I can steer away from the "Strap-on Threesomes" for one minute, and that is this, the style that I'm always used to seeing Sinn doing, and then you've got Courtney and your group of gals over there, like the East Bay Brats. Was there ever any thought that Sinn would join in with that crowd?

Courtney Trouble - Yes, we've talked about it. I would love to have Sinn in an East Bay Brats film, for sure.

Sinn Sage - Same.

Courtney Trouble - East Bay Brats is a collective. So, it's me, Chelsea Poe, Ruby Riots, and Lita Lecherous. Jupiter Jetson has joined us for two of the four. And I would love to have Sinn come in for one, maybe two. But the core collective being like the Bay Area folks. It's shifted a little bit, especially with how we were able to shoot during the pandemic. But yeah, the second we can get everyone together with Sinn, absolutely, we're going to have a mash up.

Sinn Sage - Well, I was going to say I think we're trying to make some plans for that happen at the end of July.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah, we are making content this month, two weeks from now probably. Yeah, so maybe we'll get a little bratty. I don't know.

Sinn Sage – Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - The elements we need are the Brats and a dungeon. Those are the two elements. So, if we shoot in a dungeon, we can make it happen. And yeah, I mean, I love our mashups, "Love and Lust", our threesome, being the main one for sure. But yeah, I love being in your movies. We have this little movie out called "Sinn Loves Trouble" that's all of our scenes in one and it's like six hours long. I love thinking about if I added up all of the minutes that I've had sex with Sinn, it would be like a trilogy. It's Star Wars.

Drake Man O' War - It's my "New Hope".

Jim Steele - So that's a very, very long film.

Courtney Trouble - That is such a good Star Wars joke.

Jim Steele - I missed the joke. Tell me the joke.

Drake Man O' War - It's my "new hope".

Jim Steele - Oh, well, I'm happy you joined the conversation Drake because I'll include you. So, if she's over there with the East Bay Brats, and these girls are up to no good most of the time, are you going to be in there with a smile on your face getting hit with a whip? Are you into that?

Sinn Sage - Unlikely.

Drake Man O' War - Very unlikely. No, I think I'll be behind the camera for the most part.

Courtney Trouble - Having someone behind the camera for that would be very helpful, yes.

Drake Man O' War - That's how I’d volunteer. A smile on my face? Absolutely. But my eyes are going to be glued to a very small screen the whole time, just kind of drooling a little bit, shooting, and trying not to be shaky.

Sinn Sage - Well, definitely. It's just that Drake doesn't really identify as a sub type person or a brat himself. So, for that one, probably best behind the camera. But we'll be making some other stuff too.

Courtney Trouble - We've considered bringing boys into the East Bay Brats and it's not going to happen. It's a world of femmes.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. That's the impression I got as well.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah. But there's always other stuff we can do.

Sinn Sage – Absolutely!

Courtney Trouble - You guys can Dom the fuck out of me. That'd be great.

Sinn Sage - Oh, yeah. I will love that.

Courtney Trouble - We're just making plans here.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Drake Man O' War - This is a great meeting place for making plans.

‘The East Bay Brats is a cool group of girls, led by the ever-fearless Courtney Trouble. Although she is quick to call it a collective, meaning they function as a true group, I think all would agree that Courtney is the proverbial glue that holds the whole thing together.

Sinn Sage would be a natural fit for the group, and I thought it was a no-brainer … so even though they had already been thinking about it, I had to bring it up.

I love the Brats regardless, but have to admit, I’d love to see Sinn make an appearance in the dungeon of the East Bay Brats. Having said that, such a departure also plays into the scenario of Sinn Sage as always evolving and led me to raise the topic of her and Drake’s dream of cruising around the countryside in a van, looking for hot chicks to pick up. The last time we spoke, Sinn hinted that more of this might occur in the future, and even though they have already done quite a bit of travel, I feel like more adventures will be in store for us in the future.

Courtney Trouble - Throw me in your van. That's what I want. Yeah. Haha!

Jim Steele - Well, I was just going to say, I'll just go ahead and delete the email I was getting ready to send for the application for that. I think that they're sexy as anything. But you guys scare me just a little bit.

Courtney Trouble - Good, that means it's working. {Courtney said that sharply, setting her face. She isn’t kidding around. I adore Courtney Trouble.}

Jim Steele - Speaking of the van, because you brought this up, Sinn. When we were talking last, about traveling around in the van, is this kind of the beginnings of how that's going to work and shake out?

Sinn Sage - Oh, yeah, totally. We've already travelled around in the van. From 2016 till we moved to Vegas in 2019, we were living in our van and driving around the country and we would get like a hotel or Airbnb, make content when we could, shoot my customs, stuff like that. So, we make the time to still work just as we're living on the road. And so, we did that for three years. We loved every freakin' second of it. And then we were like, you know what? We want to build the business a little bit and we wanted to do upgrades on the van. So, it went from being a Chevy Express cargo van, like standard size, and it was pretty cool to live in and stuff, but then we wanted it to be a little more comfortable, so we put a new roof on it so now that's part of it. And Drake completely redid the interior, built the whole thing himself. So that's what we've done with our time since we've been in Vegas, and it has been amazing. I really love it here, which I did not think I was going to. But just the community of sex workers and performers that live around us, it's so great. But we don't like feeling like we're trapped in a place. So that is the goal. Hopefully, we're looking into February or March of 2023 to be moved out of this house, stuff in storage, and back traveling in the van again. I planned this trip for this summer because I'm just like, “Okay, I need to get out now.”

Drake Man O' War - Yeah, we need a break from the heat, if nothing else.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. And I want to do a little trip, like a little precursor, because we're going to be trying to do work a lot, but we also want to be camping a lot. Stuff like that. So, kind of a little test run for getting back on the road now that our business looks different because definitely things were a lot smaller scale before we moved to Vegas. So just to see how that's all going to play out and making plans with performers in various cities around the country and stuff like that. So, this will be the first kind of test run into that. So yes, I think I was answering your question.

Jim Steele - Yeah, you answered my question. We'll just kind of jump back into the "Strap-on Threesomes". I love Charlotte to death. I was hoping she would make a magical appearance.

Drake Man O' War - She's an absolute sweetheart. We love her.

Jim Steele - You guys had her, Summer Hart...

Sinn Sage - Lita and Kaiia.

Courtney Trouble - Kaiia Eve. Yeah.

Jim Steele - Yeah. So, I mean, that's not like a small-time list of performers.

Drake Man O' War - These are just friends of ours though.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, yeah. They're just people who are in our circles and we hang out with anyways. And yeah, we're like, "Let's do scenes," and "Do you want to do this?" Kaiia was very much wanting to do what we did for a while, and it just worked out perfectly. During COVID, we were part of a little pod. So, we felt like, let's do this. The time is now.

Jim Steele - Was the budget on this film humongous or were you guys just able to keep it kind of friendly and really, really small?

Sinn Sage - What's a budget? {Sinn blurted the words through laughter}

Drake Man O' War - Budget. Oh, man, that's great. Yeah, budget.

{The entire group erupted in laughter, exclaiming, “What budget !?”}

Jim Steele - I got to ask it. Haha. I’ve got to sound like a professional at this.

Drake Man O' War – Okay, okay. … We budget our time. {Continued laughing and snickering among the three}

Courtney Trouble - Everybody in porn is just like friends now, and we just fuck each other and sell it. At least that's my professional opinion of what I think is happening.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, and I feel like Courtney is the one who really coined this term, so I've really adopted it from Courtney, but we're an independent studio, we're just indie, so you don't have budgets. I don't have the capital to be paying full rates because I'm not Gamma or Adult Time or Brazzers. I'm just a little model who's trying to pull together money. So, what's happening now to make these productions is that we just maybe come up with a concept or maybe we shoot a couple of ideas just as content trade for fun. And then it's like when we've done enough of those, I'm like, oh, I've got like four scenes of that or like two or three scenes of that. So, then I'll orchestrate a couple more to fill out a movie and then it's just like, “Hey, do you want to shoot some content trade?” And then I put four together and I'm like, now it's a movie. So, the budget is like… non-existent.

Drake Man O' War – Non-existent.

Courtney Trouble - And still huge because there's still so much labor that goes into it. You are doing content trade, so you're working for the model as well. They're walking away with content, so you have to work three times as hard because then you're also doing all of the post-production and editing yourself. And then what happens next is that they turn everything over to me, and I do a second round of editing with the finished scenes. I turn it into a film, and I make the cover art, and put a little bit of music and stuff on there. Make it a film, wrap it together. I don't think it's too much different than what Evil Angel does or some of the bigger vignette-style porn companies. But we're just doing it on such a small scale and do everything in-house. A lot goes into it, but yeah, our budgets are oftentimes more like, “How much time can we put into this?”

Sinn Sage - Yes.

Drake Man O' War - Our budget is our time.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah. And then also a press agent and little things like that really do make a difference, at least I've noticed in this situation.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Jim Steele - I know that everybody does trade like, “Hey, I'm your friend,” and I've been involved in some of that. It's a nice little surprise when everything comes together, and everybody just works out. But I didn't know. But the one thing I did like about it, and I hope that you don't lose, is you mentioned editing, Courtney. I know that everybody's a professional here, and you can make it as polished as you would ever want to. But it's got this really down home, kind of comfy type of feel to it. And I kind of like that.

Drake Man O' War - It's real.

Jim Steele - It's real. Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah.

Drake Man O' War - It's not edited. It's not polished because this is sex. Sex isn't polished. Sex is very raw. It's beautiful. It's all of these things that just naturally occur. So, you edit out those natural occurrences and you've now just taken reality out of it if you ask me.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. But then also two of the scenes are on the couch in our living room and two of them are in the bed in our bedroom. And I think that's what you were touching on in your review a little bit too, Jim, is just you feel like you're being welcomed into our home to see some of the fun that we have.

Drake Man O' War - Asked by the couple from across the bar.

Jim Steele - But I think that that goes to a whole other level when you start talking about Sinn and Charlotte, and Courtney's involved, and Drake and Lita. These are not the kind of people that you might expect to see on Clips4Sale for $4.95 and here's your download. And so, in a way it's really cool to see these top-level performers with just regular, like Drake said, real content. It's really a welcome thing.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah. Thank you.

Drake Man O' War – From all of us … thank you!

{The group nods in agreement and are saying thank you. I was a bit overwhelmed for a moment. I had unintentionally hit home, and gratitude, mixed with emotion welled up from the three.}

Courtney Trouble - I think what Sinn said about us making indie films really speaks to that too, because when I coined it, what I was really thinking was how the film industry has an indie film scene and why doesn't porn have something like that? And yeah, now I feel like porn's like 80% indie porn and 20% MindGeek (and other studios).

Sinn Sage - Studio. Yeah, agreed. In that way, that's one of the changes that the industry has had over the past ten, five, or even three years is we're now so empowered to do our own thing. We all have a little studio on our phones if that's what we want to do. And so, all you really need to do is just have an idea, get together with somebody, make it, and shoot it. Then you can take it and put it in these various places on the Internet and now you've released a movie. It used to be that it was only these companies with very expensive cameras and a whole crew and all of this professional set-up. That was out of reach for someone like me, but now I can just jump in and do it. So that is really cool. And that is what’s happening with the industry right now, that all this stuff is more accessible to people.

Courtney Trouble - Yep. And I think it's why you're seeing more titles about transwomen or about the strap-on threesome, which is a very queer act, you and your husband are playing with dicks. That's queer. It's a little gay in a really beautiful and sexy way. It's just not something you would see out of a mainstream studio. When I saw the movie for the first time, I was just like, “I don't think I've ever seen anything like this where the guest, where the third person, where the girl in a girl/girl/boy is the center of attention.” Because normally, if you were on a studio somewhere, and it was Sinn and Drake and me, you and I would both be focused on Drake the whole time. Or maybe we would take turns getting off. I think that was one of the main things when we all shot together. I was like, “Well, what do you want this to be like? And I was like, “I want to play with you, Sinn. I don't want this to feel like we're both just here to service Drake.” So, for me, "Strap-on Threesomes" as a sex act is just so beautifully powerfully equal and feminist in a way.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - If porn awards still existed, I would be sliding this in for best movie because … when do you see this?

Drake Man O 'War - Yeah. We didn't have a manager telling us what we needed to do for this film. Haha. We have our lusting for girls … our evil lusting for these women.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. These are things he likes!

Courtney Trouble - I think the universe is just really lucky that you guys chose porn as a profession because we get to see what you're into and it's awesome.

Sinn Sage - Yes. Haha

Drake Man O 'War - We bring our personalities to our scenes for sure.

Jim Steele - Yeah. And in particular, the one with Lita. And I mentioned this, in the intro, anybody else in the entire universe would have edited that beginning out, but it was just Drake and Lita sitting on the couch and you guys are just laughing and maybe poking each other kind of in the side.

Drake Man O 'War - I needed to add that. When doing the initial edit, I'm like, “No, that's part of this.” That whole scenario is a part of every scenario everybody wants to be in when they watch this movie. They also want to be in that exact situation. It's not going to just happen where I walk in the room with my dick out, and everything happens. No, there's a build-up, there's always a build-up to a sexual adventure. You just never see it.

Sinn Sage - Right.

Drake Man O' War - And that's the most authentic part of it all.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. And that was so cool. I mean, that scene, we were at a party, Lita was there, and we were just hanging out all day and having so much fun. And then afterwards it's like, we were already feeling a vibe and we were like, "You want to just come over and we'll set up the cameras and get down." And Lita was like, "Yes."

Drake Man O' War - That was the extent of that conversation.

Courtney Trouble - I'm so glad Jim is hearing this because I knew that scene was spontaneous, and I was really hoping that you guys would talk about it. It's like a reality movie.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - That scene with Lita was totally spontaneous.

Drake Man O' War - Absolutely.

Sinn Sage - No planning, we didn't do that at all.

Drake Man O' War - Not at all.

Courtney Trouble - You guys just wanted to fuck so you turned on some cameras because why not?

Sinn Sage - Why waste it?

{Group erupts in laughter}

Courtney Trouble - Why waste it? How many times have you guys fucked a girl without filming it?

Drake Man O' War - A lot.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, many.

Drake Man O' War - There have been many times, but it's not to say we didn't film something beforehand.

Courtney Trouble - Just didn't film the main attraction.

Drake Man O' War – That’s not to say that we didn’t film something before we did that … but after that happened, now that the cameras are on, let's just go to fucking town and we went to fucking town. Haha

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Jim Steele - I was going to say that that's the other cool part of that scene in that whole movie is while you guys are hanging out on the couch, you can kind of see Sinn and she went off set to adjust her top and then she might have moved a light and it's not all perfect. So, in a way, it also gives hope to people that are up and coming that, “Hey, they did this in their bedroom, and it turned out really, really cool with two cameras.” And so yeah, that POV - what I was calling the POV – it was a camera mounted above the headboard. Originally, I thought Drake was holding the camera up above his head.

Courtney Trouble - I love that shot.

Jim Steele - It was a great angle, but when you guys move, then you can see the camera and it's like, “Okay, cool.” So, in that way, it can give people a little bit of insight into how these shots happen.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, only one scene in that movie had a camera person. It was the scene with Summer Hart, and we had someone come in and do camera, but otherwise we just took one camera and two phones, or one camera and one phone or something like that. And then it's just editing between the angles … and that made a movie.

Courtney Trouble - The last thing I shot, I totally forgot to bring the little memory cards for my real cameras. So, we shot the entire movie on iPhones.

Drake Man O' War - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - That's like, what, year 20 of my career. Whatever, man, it’s just easy.

Sinn Sage - That's what I'm saying. I see the way these $20,000 cameras shoot and yeah, it's nice and it's cinematic and it looks amazing, but people love amateur porn. I mean, that's always the number one and that's pervasive through the decades. Trends in mainstream porn shift and change a lot, but one thing that's been always there is people's love of just seeing amateur stuff. All you need for that is an iPhone, and if you know how to edit a little bit, you can put it together. Yeah, so I want to be experimenting a little bit more with using the iPhone.

Drake Man O' War - We'll be doing a lot of that this month.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, so on this trip we're going on, we're not even going to bring the Canon camera. We're just going to play with our phones and some programs on the phones and see how that ends up. Because I like the way that looks a lot of times.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah.

Drake Man O' War – It looks polished.

Jim Steele - Yeah. Thanks for mentioning that though because VideoShop is an app I use on mine. I don't know what you guys use, but you can do almost whatever you want. Meanwhile, everybody wants to point and make fun of an iPhone, but I've taken some of the best pictures with my iPhone. I don’t know, maybe I use a light, maybe not. A lot of times I'll leave the Sony I have in its camera bag because, like you say, it's simple, it's easy and they take good pictures. So, I feel a little bit validated here this afternoon.

Sinn Sage - So do we.

Courtney Trouble - You should put it in the credits, like the gear. Hey, this was shot on a Canon. Hey, this is an iPhone.

Sinn Sage – Right !? Haha

Courtney Trouble - I love what you were saying about amateur porn, Sinn. And something Jim was saying was like, we've got all these big names, and Lita and Kaiia are both going to swoon over that. But it's still so very DIY and amateur and there's this really new genre coming out with content trade made up from porn star and amateur content where you can watch your favorite porn stars fuck at home. It's wonderful. I think it might be my favorite thing the industry has ever had to offer. I love seeing the real chemistry. My biggest wish for porn, ever since I got into it, was just that you could see more people who wanted to be fucking each other being cast together. Because I know porn stars want to fuck each other and sometimes they never get to. But I feel like those days might be gone because of Sinn and Charlotte, it's happening.

Sinn Sage - I agree.

Jim Steele - It's a very cool concept and I am in total agreement. The number one thing about amateur is – and I'm not talking about anything that's illegal – but when you're watching it and it's like, “Oh, I’m not supposed to be watching this because it's behind-closed-doors type of stuff.” You know, it’s hot. Sinn's right. She mentioned that's always been very hot, and very sought after.

Drake Man O' War – What we make is an insight into our personal lives.

Courtney Trouble – Yes, absolutely.

Jim Steele - And just as Sinn and Courtney mentioned, to see that with big names is something where people are silently screaming, “Hey, give us this!” Okay, fine. Here are  you guys and you’re doing it. That was the number one thing that I thought was really cool about it.

Drake Man O' War - Oh, we find it cool as well.

Jim Steele - So we've established that we don't have budgets to work with. I’ll skip the follow-ups to that.

Drake Man O' War - That leaves us with one question.

Jim Steele - That was seriously my last question. Haha. It's funny. It's really an honest question though, but I was just curious to know how much you had wrapped up in it. But that's cool.

Drake Man O' War - Time is money and that's the investment that we put in. Everything can be broken down to our time on this earth, and this is what we plan to invest it in.

Courtney Trouble - And for me, I try not to work as often these days, but every moment I am working, it's all wrapped up in this porn game.

Drake Man O' War – You’ve got your whole heart into it.

Courtney Trouble - Wholehearted, yeah.

Drake Man O' War - You don't have to do it by somebody else's list of demands. The list of demands depends on how you feel, and what you want to put your mouth and/or parts on.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah. Haha.

Sinn Sage - Yes, yes, yes!!

Courtney Trouble - I think part of the thing that sucks about stigma around sex work and porn is you think we're just doing it for the money and we're making a lot of money. I think that's one of the biggest misconceptions, that people get into porn to get super rich. For me, getting into porn was always about just not having a boss.

Sinn Sage - Totally.

Courtney Trouble - Baseline, I don't want to work for anybody.

Drake Man O' War - I want to love what I do.

Courtney Trouble – I’m like, “How can I make this happen?” I think because of the stigma around porn and sex work, people think, “Oh, we must be making millions of dollars.” Haha. Not really. I'm fine with what I do make, which is not a lot. I could probably go get a job in tech and be making millions of dollars or whatever. Right? But this is what I love, and I don't have a boss and it's totally sustainable. I get my bills paid and I get to travel every once in a while, when things are good. But I think the biggest misconception is that we have a whole lot of money wrapped up in this and there's a whole lot of return. Most of us, quite frankly, aren't doing it for the millions. The millions aren't there.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. I feel like when I got into this business, I was too young to really be considering things on that level. My maturity hadn't reached that understanding on labor yet. But as I've continued in this industry, it's very much been where I can compare my life with... Thinking about what you said about you could make a lot more money if you were in tech, but then you're sacrificing your life every single day in a room or a cubicle or in front of a computer. And that's your sacrifice. So, what are you getting back for it? Well, money. Okay, that's nice. But is that the meaning of our purpose here on this planet? You know what I'm saying? If I'm going to sacrifice my life to make money to survive, I would rather do it where I'm the one who's in control of what I do, who I do it with, and when I do it. I'm the one who decides if I need time off for my health or if I need time off for adventure. I get to make all those decisions for myself. I don't have to ask permission from someone else. But then, to be doing something that I genuinely love and enjoy? It doesn't even feel like I'm sacrificing moments of my life for the sake of money.

Drake Man O' War - Or through exploitation.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, exactly. And because I've come to those kinds of realizations about labor and exploitation and all this stuff, it's made me so much more solid in my decision making, and to me, this is freedom. The only thing that I've sacrificed are those people on the outside who look in at my world and judge it and think that it's whatever they think it is, but they have no idea. And you know what? Sacrificing the opinions of people who don't even want to know what my real story and feelings are, I think I feel okay about that.

Courtney Trouble - Just let it go.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - Go have your feelings over there. Haha!!

Jim Steele - I've noticed a little bit of what you just mentioned, that the further and the more I get into different areas and different angles of this business, other people's opinions become more and more irrelevant because it's so far removed from what your reality actually is. But yeah, to me, I mean, it's a little bit of money here and there. And, like you say, you get to go someplace once in a while, but it's enjoyable and it's fulfilling.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Jim Steele - And so, yeah, that's an awful lot of it, especially when we start talking about the labor trade-off and how that works.

Sinn Sage – Yeah, right on.

Jim Steele – It’s huge. But there is a little bit of a business side to it. I want to talk about your distribution and your production. Where do you guys see that going in the future? Are you going to be doing your own content or branching out - and I know you guys do this a little bit already - and drawing in new talent and doing stuff for other people and trying to expand what's already there.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, Courtney, you take it. Courtney is technically the distributor.

Courtney Trouble - I would say TROUBLE Films is just distributing Sinn and Drake's films because they also have their own scenes, all that stuff. So, in a lot of ways, I'm just doing a little bit of a consignment job, selling their porn, making sure they get paid for it. It's all non-exclusive, so Sinn and Drake own all of their films. Yeah, we put the TROUBLE Film’s logo on it, but at the end of the day, that's just for brand association, because the goal was to bring Sinn Sage into the queer porn atmosphere. So, this really solidifies Sinn Sage Studios as a queer porn studio because it's affiliated with TROUBLE Films. We're friends and this is how we're going to help each other out. This is our activism, that our companies are working together to make sure that Sinn Sage's legacy is queer porn. You know, she started out in places like Sweetheart, Sinners, Mile High … you know, all those sweet, precious little places with all the skinny, young, hot lesbians. Haha. So, my mission is always to show up, be present, and try to make sure that Sinn and Drake's vision is getting out there, and I do this for other people too.

‘In order to understand Trouble Films, it is important to understand Courtney Trouble. Courtney has always been drawn to Indie type endeavours and productions, places where she can shine as an individual, and along the way, bring other like-minded people along with her. Since an early age, Courtney has defied most mainstream labels, but does identify as trans, non-binary, but again, that’s just a label. In reality, I would suggest that she likes most things, as long as they’re hot and … perhaps if, they are not defined. A better way to put that would be IF they are undefined, and just wild, hot, and sexy, but most importantly, true to themselves, whomever that self might be.

Enter Chelsea Poe, who is a huge talent and such a big name in the trans world. Chelsea has been featured not only in work by Trouble Films, but is also an accomplished author and columnist, appearing in Rolling Stone, Glamour Magazine, Cosmopolitan, The Huffington Post, and many others. She has also been nominated multiple times for AVNs. In short, Chelsea is a star in her own right, but has come to be aligned with Courtney and Trouble Films. Together, these two have created some magic that cannot be denied.

Courtney Trouble – As an example, I've been releasing Chelsea Poe's films for seven years, and we collaborate a lot. We'll put the films together and shoot them and all those things that go into it. Chelsea is kind of like with me, the way that Sinn and Drake are together. Chelsea Poe's a big part of TROUBLE Films.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - And I'm bringing on another filmmaker at some point soon and we're going to make a movie. I don't want to say her name just yet, but I do have plans to make a movie with another person this year that I'm really excited about. Still, I don't really want to branch out too far, because I think Sinn Sage Studios is really special and honestly there's enough there to keep me busy, just with distribution. Drake edits all the scenes, I put them together, and slap music on it. I make a cover, I make a trailer, and then it goes through other hands. It goes back to Sinn and Drake, it goes to the press, it goes to the reviews and stuff. And then … it's really up to the industry of like, “How much do they want to fuck with us?” Because we'll go all the way. I'll fuck with AVN, I'll fuck with XBIZ, all of it. Let's go. And they seem interested and we keep getting nominated. All of Sinn and Drake's work is nominated for XBIZ, AVN, The TEA Show– everything. So, what I am hearing from the universe is that we have something good going and we should keep going.

Sinn Sage - And talking about like what it looks like in the future, that's always a difficult question, right?

Courtney Trouble - Yeah. Because you also love the road. And we were able to do a lot of this stuff when you're homesteading in Vegas. So, the future is in flux, but I know we're going to have sex again.

Sinn Sage - Oh, yeah.

Courtney Trouble - I know we'll make more porn.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. And I mean, we know there are creators you've worked with before, Courtney, but they might live on the East Coast, and that's the way I see it. There is talent that lives all across this country. So, I'm not even concerned about being able to put stuff together, because I know that living on the road, it's just a matter of meeting up with these people who also want to make content and putting things together, and that's all it's ever going to be. So, I don't really see an ending point for me, and I feel like as far as ambitions go, I keep myself grounded. I don't sit here and say, “Well, in ten years it's going to be this big, and in twenty years it's going to be like this.” I just feel like I’ve got to follow my heart and my passions and my joy, and if I keep doing that, that's what success is going to be.

Courtney Trouble - I also think that's the freedom from being in the second decade in porn where you're just like, “I'm just going to do whatever I want.”

Sinn Sage – Yeah, Hahaha.

Courtney Trouble - You've done everything. You finally figured out what sells for you, what works for you, and after you're just like, “Fuck it, I'm off to the races!” I would personally love to see another "Trans Lesbian Lovers" and a mash up of "Trans Lesbian Lovers" and "Strap-on Sinners". It would be like a "Strap-on Sinners" that had trans women and cis women in it. I think that would be nice to mix it up.

Sinn Sage - Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - A really inclusive film sounds really like a lot of fun. Oh God. And of course, the "Hitachi Cum" compilation is my favorite thing that Sinn does.

Sinn Sage - We've got a second one in the works so that’s not a problem.

Courtney Trouble - I begged, begged, and begged for the "Hitachi Cum" compilation. I was like, “Please let me put this out!” I’ll be excited to put out another chapter.

Sinn Sage - There's a lot more where that came from. Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - I want to be in it too. I want to be in this chapter.

Sinn Sage - All right. Done. Yeah. We'll see you soon for that.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah.

Drake Man O' War - Here we come!!!

Courtney Trouble - I have two Hitachi’s so we could just... How many do you have? Five?

Sinn Sage - Yeah, but they keep breaking.

{Uncontrolled Laughter from Sinn & Drake}

Courtney Trouble - Can I get one on my back at the same time?

Sinn Sage – Like… for the legit purpose?

Courtney Trouble – Yeah, on my neck.

Drake Man O' War - Hold the camera with one hand and the other Hitachi ...

Courtney Trouble – Haha … Yeah, just one on my clit, one on my neck.

Jim Steele - With a legit purpose? Haha, that’s too much. I'll get into “Trans Lesbians” just for a second. That film, when it’s coupled with all the other stuff that you're doing, the way that you guys work that content … I love the magical moment when a dick appears, but nobody seems to care because it's so hot and they're so into it. You know what I mean?

Sinn Sage – Yes, and that's something that was really important to me. I don't think that every time a trans woman's dick comes out it should be this shocking surprise. And I mean, there's a place for that and it lives over in … ‘that other place.’ But for stuff I wanted to make, I want it to be like, “Oh, there's your parts. Cool. Put them in my mouth.” I don't want there to be this distinction if that makes sense.

Jim Steele - It makes perfect sense. And it's what I love about the whole thing is that there is no distinction. It's just crazy- hot - sexy, and that's okay with me, and I think that sells.

Courtney Trouble - This is really one of the first times where mainstream cis male straight reviewers have seen some of the more TROUBLE Films type work pouring through this feature in particular because we specialize in porn that features trans women, especially with cis women. It's super important to me specifically because it represents my personal life. I fuck trans women. I love trans women. And I think it's important that we show people's genuine sexuality and not sensationalize their bodies. You mention that "Oh my God, it's a dick" thing, and that is so offensive. It really is. Trans women don't want to watch that. I want it to feel queer. I want that kind of work to come from within the community because nobody else knows how to shoot it, and nobody else knows what we're doing. Like, I'm trans identified non-binary, and people don't know how we fuck at all. So that's always been my mission ...

Sinn Sage - It's like demystifying it a little bit. And I think when you do that, these things that are the source of so much separation and bigotry, come from a place of not understanding. But then if you’re like, “I don't even want to know, so forget it.” You'll never reach me. And what I hope is to be able to reach some people who are not all the way in that space yet. They're like, "Well, it's just weird to me and I don't get it." But they can say, "Oh, but I like Sinn Sage, so maybe I'll check this out." And then after they see it, they’d be like, "Oh, it's just two women." By doing that, I feel like you have to come from a place of ignorance.

Sinn Sage - I came from a place of ignorance 100%. When I was younger, I was thinking about trans women in a way of sexualizing their bodies. And I was just like, “Well, I want to be with a trans woman because it’s the best of both worlds or whatever.” And I remember asking a trans model once, "I really want to do a scene with a trans girl, but I wouldn't even know how I would act because I'm so different when I'm with cis men versus when I'm with women." And she was just like, "You're just having sex with a girl." Well, I didn't know many trans people at that time, so I had to come to that point. And then I started knowing trans women, and then I started working with trans women, and then I'm just like, "Oh yeah, they're just women." And so … I'm hoping that with the work I'm doing nowadays, I am also encouraging people who are on that journey to reach that point of understanding too. It might be a lofty goal, but I hope it's an effect that takes place even if it's just on a small scale.

Courtney Trouble - Just like all of your films. I feel like "Strap-on Threeways" has that kind of vibe too, where it's a lofty goal. We want you to see this personal side and your films have that special touch to them. There's always heart in it, and you always have a message, not like it's an afterschool special or anything. Haha.

Sinn Sage - Right, right.

Courtney Trouble – But there's a little bit of a political edge to this stuff you're making. Speaking to the business relationship, Jim, that's where our friendship is born. It’s this queer political connection. We both really love porn and Drake really loves porn. We love this community, and we want to be a part of it. And being able to make this kind of content is revolutionary for us personally, but also hopefully for everyone else.

Jim Steele - And I guess my point of view or my two cents for that would be that the way you guys make it... I was already very aware and exposed to a lot of that, but I've become a huge fan of Chelsea. Haha, I'll just come out and say it. But she is so talented on so many different levels. Tell me I'm wrong, but she is.

Sinn Sage - She's so creative.

Courtney Trouble - She's a genius.

Jim Steele - Yeah, and so you get to the point of seeing all of this on a very personal, real level. And once you fall in love with that, the labels just fall away, and it no longer matters, and you can really see the spiritual, emotional side of a person. I think that's just beautiful, and I think you guys are really accomplishing that.

Sinn Sage - Yay! That's so meaningful. Yeah.

Courtney Trouble - I can die happy just knowing that people know who Chelsea Poe and Sinn Sage are. Haha. I have to text a bunch of people right now. You're so loved!

Jim Steele - I consider you guys friends. And I especially appreciate when you reach out and you're like, "Hey, would you like to take a look at this?" For me, that means that I'm on cloud nine for a minute or two.

Sinn Sage - It goes both ways. It's mutual.

Courtney Trouble - Yep. Yep. I won't say any names, but I like how intellectually mature you are.

Jim Steele - Who? Me?

Courtney Trouble - Yeah, you. [raucous laughter]

Drake Man O' War - I knew they weren't talking about me … Haha.

{Group laughing}

Courtney Trouble - I may have just dogged every other porn writer out there.

Drake Man O' War - But you can see the difference. Think about the way you wrote about this movie and the way that you were talking to me about trans movies.

Jim Steele - Well, I care about it. Here's the way I look at that, and somebody might hate me for saying this, but I don't write a whole lot of reviews. I don't write ten of them a week because I want to take my time with them, and I want to make it... That's your work. But whose ever work it is I don't want to just breeze through it and give you a three paragraph, “Blah, blah, blah, blah.” And so, I don’t review as much as I should, but when I do, I really like to take my time with it and get into it. I think that's only fair.

Sinn Sage - So appreciated. It's meaningful, for sure.

Jim Steele - But yeah, I was laughing because you called me an intellectual when I was talking with Sinn. Just catch me on Twitter at 2 a.m. and you'll flush "intellectual" directly down the toilet.

Courtney Trouble - Twitter is where intellect goes to die anyways.

Sinn Sage - Yes, very much so.

Courtney Trouble - I usually just use it for stoned shit posting these days.

Jim Steele - Yeah, well, it can be fun too, but those tweets live on, and then people are like, "He really said that? Are you kidding me? Was he stoned?" And I'm like, "Yeah, I probably was stoned."

Courtney Trouble - Probably.

Drake Man O' War - I definitely was.

Jim Steele - All right …. Let’s give a shout out to TROUBLE Films, we got Sinn Sage Studios, of course, all of your Twitter and Instagram. Where else do you guys want to mention today?

Sinn Sage - Well, fucking OnlyFans is number one for now. So, I’ve got one of those. I think all of us have one of those. And my website where you can find all these movies we were talking about, and all my other links is sinn-sage.com. Another place where you can find me is Reddit, username @RealSinnSage. And I have a subreddit that is just my name, @SinnSage and I'd like to have more community there and stuff. I find Reddit to be a very interesting space on the Internet. So many spaces are very toxic, and Reddit has its own place of toxicity, but there are some cool pockets in there. And so, you should check me out over there.

Courtney Trouble - That's so cool. Every time I log into Reddit a really old conversation that you and I had popped up. It's like an AMA and I'm like, "Do I ever get to eat your pussy again?" And you're like, "Absolutely!" It's right there at the top of my Reddit from … I don't know, a million years ago.

Sinn Sage - I'm going to find it.

Courtney Trouble - So clearly, I'm on Reddit too. That might be a fun place to actually build some community. That could be fun. Come hang out with Sinn and I on Reddit. I'm on OnlyFans. That's always a fun place. I'm a little bit of a dirty slut on that website. I have a tendency to tell secrets. I have text posts on OnlyFans. I just recently got out of a relationship and OnlyFans is the only place I told. I was like, "Hey, I have to tell you guys that things are going to get a little more experimental around here." And I have … Haha.

Sinn Sage - I feel like OnlyFans is different from Twitter in that way. At least for me, and those of us who do our own OnlyFans, I look at it as a way more intimate relationship. If you want to know what it's like to be my friend a little bit, or sort of peek in closer on me, my personality, my realness, OnlyFans is for that.

Courtney Trouble - Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I would love to plug QueerPorn.TV. QueerPorn.TV is the hardcore video part of the TROUBLE Films online network. There's definitely a ton of Sinn Sage scenes on there. Stuff we've shot, stuff she has shot. And then also there's hundreds of other scenes that are just hot queer sex with all kinds of people, all genders. Maybe 95% of my entire career performances are up there. So QueerPorn.TV, that's a really good porn site. And troublefilms.com/shop is another place where you can grab Sinn's movies. If you wanted to get a bundle of Sinn's movies and my movies, you could go to troublefilms.com, download them from the store. You don't have to buy any DVDs anymore. Just grab them. You own them forever. And the wonderful thing about that is Sinn makes a lot more money selling directly, and I make a lot more money selling directly through these websites. So, if you do find us on a VOD per minute or whatever, good for you. But the exclusives are on our websites.

Sinn Sage - After you've watched it on the VOD and realize you like us, then come to our sites and buy it there...

Courtney Trouble - Yeah, for sure. It's indie porn. It's worth it. We put a lot of work into it and yeah, the budget is mostly labor. But those are the sites. I don't even bother too much with my Twitter anymore. I'm on Instagram.

Jim Steele - Are you on Instagram?

Courtney Trouble - Yeah.

Jim Steele – Oh… ok, I follow you on Instagram. Did you guys know I got kicked off of TikTok?

Courtney Trouble - Oh, I didn't last a day on TikTok.

Drake Man O' War - I've never gotten on.

Sinn Sage - Yeah, we haven't got on yet.

Courtney Trouble - You guys might be cute on it for the road. You could do travel TikTok’s.

Sinn Sage - I think we're going to have to. I feel like the sad fact in reality about TikTok is that eventually if we want to remain relevant, we're going to have to get one.

Drake Man O' War - It's a new inspiration and promotion.

Jim Steele - Well, I didn't even do anything that bad, but it was permanently. No warning, no chance for redemption at all. You're just gone.

Sinn Sage - I've heard that from countless people. Yeah, not surprising.

Courtney Trouble - They just figured out what your job was the second you logged in.

Sinn Sage - Yep.

Jim Steele - Probably.

Sinn Sage - And they're like, "You can't be here."

Jim Steele - I was having fun on it, and then it was like, “You are not allowed in here.”

Sinn Sage - We know what you do, dirty perv. Get out.

{Group laughing at Jim}

‘Sidecar & Editor’s Note ~ Jim has recently started uploading videos on his TikTok backup account and has already been flagged for more indecent material after the second video upload …

Jim Steele - That's funny. All right, so you mentioned your time is the labor, but it's worth so much. And I really appreciate all your time today, more than I can express. We have Sinn and Drake's "Strap-on Threesomes", the big feature. It's over two hours and adults can purchase it and download at Sinn's website as well as TROUBLE Films. Let’s have everyone check out and give them a follow on their Twitter and other social medias, and the links are all at the end of this column for that. I have to give a huge thank you to Tanya Tate and Alexander over at Star Factory PR. She's so nice to me and set this up. Haha. We all came at her with this oddball request saying, "Hey, let's have a group Zoom chat and see what happens." But she put it together, so that was cool.

Courtney Trouble - This was really fun.

Sinn Sage - Yeah. Love it.

Courtney Trouble - I've been hoping somebody would talk to Sinn and I and Drake about our little business adventures, because it’s very cute and unique. More people should know they can build up a porn following just by collaborating.

Jim Steele – Sure thing, and to kind of dovetail into that, and to wrap it up, everybody collaborates and everybody's friends, it's just some people don't make it as public and as well-known as you do. It's like if they do, they're afraid - I don't want to put words in people's mouths - that it's going to steal some of their own thunder. But in reality, it would add to it.

Drake Man O' War - Yeah. I hear a lot of people talk a lot about our industry and think, “Well, it must be so competitive.” And I'm just like, “No, not really. There's room for everyone.” There are so many people consuming porn all around the world and some people like this and some don't like the other. There's something for everyone and there's room for everyone to be successful. So that's why I like collaborating and doing trades where you both share the content. I feel like with all that, it doesn't take away from anyone, it just boosts up the other person. And so, we could all be doing that. In fact, if we could be doing that in normal society, things would be better. We all bring something new to the table.

Jim Steele – Absolutely and thank you for putting it like that. Well, let’s wrap this up so everybody can get back to their day. But I really appreciate all of you, and I thank you all again so much. I really appreciate your time.

Sinn Sage, Drake Man O’ War, Courtney Trouble - Thank you so much !!
