Love Them or Hate Them, Porn Compilations are Here to Stay

Some might call compilations lazy, but I'm a big fan. Here's why:

Porn is music to my eyes. It's soothing, enriching, thought-provoking, and all-around beautiful. Just like music, I love going back to my favorite scenes again and again. And I love to find hits and classics that I've missed over the years.

A good porn compilation is a delightful walk down memory lane, sprinkled with a few buried treasures along the way. A XXX greatest hits album if you will.

In this edition of Parker's Picks, we'll take a look at some of my favorite recent compilations!

Cumshot Compilation 1

"Cumshot Compilation 1" dropped in mid-May of 2018 to a din of controversy. It was a total departure from the sort of high-brow art porn NubileFilms was known for. It featured 38 epic cumshots crammed into six minutes of heat. Some thought it was too basic porny. I loved it.

You can tell this was a labor of love for whoever stitched this one together. It's not just a collection of random pops, but a lovingly crafted collection of the most magical climaxes in NubileFilms history.

It features one of my favorite cumshots -- Naomi Nevena and Damien Dickey's load from the film "Desirous," and inspired a full XCritic review.

Vixen began releasing compilation videos in mid-2020 to keep their content fresh amid COVID-related filming stops, and they opted for a different approach. Rather than a bunch of MTV-like shock cuts, Vixen's compilations are a curated collection of greatest hits. You can really sit with each featured scene for a while and experience it as a shortened three-act play Cliffs Notes style.

"Menage a Troi Volume 2" features five highly-rated threesomes: Julia Grandi's "Lust 2," "Kickstart," and "Stranded," along with Laurent Sky's "Some Boys Club," and "Calling Out."
