Dennis Burkas, a notorious figure who has ties to the adult industry in Europe, who goes by Dennis Black Magic, has been handed a seven-year prison sentence after being found guilty of raping eight women and distributing images of child sexual abuse.

The sentencing, which took place in the eastern Belgian town of Tongeren, also included a fine of 4,000 euros, exceeding the punishment sought by the public prosecutor.

The 49-year-old former adult movie producer has had a controversial past, with multiple convictions for sexual offenses dating back over a decade. The court noted his persistent disregard for legal and moral standards, emphasizing that Burkas had “flouted every form of regulation” and demonstrated a “far-reaching blurring of standards.”

Burkas first rose to prominence through his productions of adult movies and nude calendars featuring Flemish celebrities, but his career has been marred by his criminal activities. His convictions include the rape of underage girls in 2008 and 2011 and inciting a minor to prostitution in 2017, alongside offenses related to forgery, fraud, and traffic violations.

The recent charges stem from a 2020 complaint by Nanoe Vaesen, a 28-year-old OnlyFans model. Vaesen accused Burkas of pressuring her into having sex with him under the guise of helping her advance her career in the adult industry.
