Reddit is great for so many things, and today, I found a doozy of a story about content creator Emma Claire (MidwestEmma), who markets herself as an OnlyFans guru, and for the right price, she will share her secrets to her success.
You can see in a tweet that she claims she has nearly 20,000 paid subscribers.
Sound amazing, right? Only it’s not true.
Here’s the story directly from Reddit.
If you are an OnlyFans creator and have been looking around the internet for tips and tricks for your business, you probably know Emma Claire aka midwestemma. I would say she’s one of the biggest names in the OnlyFans industry and is famous in this industry for being extremely successful with her farming content, resulting in her being a multi-millionaire (her words).
In addition to the content she provides to her fans who consume her porn for their enjoyment, she also presents herself as a guide/coach/inspiration for other creators. She has a podcast (The Spicy Accountant Podcast on Spotify), has made several videos on YouTube, has sold guides in the past, has offered paid one on one coaching in the past and still offers paid group Zoom coaching calls for other creators.
Lately she has been tweeting claiming to have 30,000 – 40,000 full paid subscribers on her midwestemma OnlyFans page.
On April 24, 2022 she had posted several tweets about having more than 30,000 paid subscribers. However, on that same day she posted a story to her Snapchat which was a picture of her logged in paid OnlyFans page to promote the live she was going to do later that day.
She tweeted “it is still crazy to me to do live cam shows with over 32,000 paid subscribers watching me.”
Went to her twitter, searched “subscribers” & the first tweet that came up was a screenshot she posted on 02/14/22 that shows 42.8k fans & says “42,800 subscribers on my paid onlyfans is the best valentine’s gift a girl could ask for.”
01/01/22 “I have 40,000 subscribers”
02/10/22 “40,000 paid onlyfans subscribers”
02/14/22 “42,800 subscribers on my paid onlyfans is the best valentine’s gift a girl could ask for”
02/16/22 “1,000 new subscribers in the last hour.”
03/16/22 “I have over 350,000 subscribers on my porn websites.”
3/16/22 “I gain 1,000 subscribers a day.”
04/22/22 “821 new subscribers in the last 4 hours”
04/23/22 “I just sat down and responded to 436 Onlyfans messages and I still have 500 more to go. having over 30,000 subscribers is a wild ride”
I have always been flabbergasted by the success after success after success after success she claims to have. She claimed to have over 40,000 paid subscribers and to earn $800,000 per month (source: her tweets and her podcast).
Marketing Gurus are common on Facebook. First, there was the Facebook ads guru, then it was the Shopify guru, then the crypto guru, then the NFT marketing guru. It’s a never-ending cycle, and well, OnlyFans is no different. There are a ton of girls out there making money off of other creators giving them tips, tricks, and “coaching” when they actually have very little experience themself.
And hey, having 13,800 fans is something to be proud of. I know many girls who would love those kinds of numbers.
So why lie?
That’s the problem. One day you say you have 20k, and another day you say you have 30k to 40k. But in the end, none of those things are true.
Why do you need to lie?
I mean, having 13,800 paid subscribers is amazing. Even if many of them come from free trial links, it’s still a rather impressive accomplishment.
It’s misleading. It’s shady. It’s fraud.
The real question is, if a person lies about this, what else are they not telling you? And that is really my point.
With so many life coaches and OnlyFans coaches and Facebook ad coaches out there, you have to wonder how everyone isn’t a millionaire.
