Farley Cahen began his journey at AVN as the Director of Internet Development, showcasing his foresight in the digital transformation of the industry. By 2004, he had ascended to the role of publisher for AVN Online magazine, a sister publication, demonstrating his versatile leadership and deep understanding of adult entertainment media.

Cahen’s last role at AVN was as Vice President of Licensing and Business Development, after which he transitioned to Digital Playground, a prominent adult studio, serving as its Vice President of New Media. This move underscored his continuous pursuit of innovation and growth within the industry.

In 2015, Cahen stepped away from the adult business to co-found MG Magazine, a cannabis industry trade outlet, with AVN co-founder Paul Fishbein, former AVN CEO Darren Roberts, and longtime AVN writer Tom Hymes.
