Is Snoop Dogg Getting Paid $100 MIllion to Join OnlyFans?

CELEBRITY SEX NEWS ONLYFANS STRAIGHT

There are a ton of celebrities joining OnlyFans, but Snoop Dogg won’t be one of them.

Snoop Dogg recently confirmed that he rejected a $100 million offer to join OnlyFans. The rapper addressed the offer during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he shared the surprising reason for turning it down: respect for his wife, Shante Broadus.

When asked by a fan whether he regretted declining the lucrative deal, Snoop, 53, responded with characteristic humor, “The only part that regrets it is my friend down there,” gesturing toward his crotch. Host Andy Cohen followed up, asking whether Snoop’s “d— wanted the exposure,” to which the rapper quipped, “He said that $100 million he would’ve been able to spend untaxed!”

In January, Snoop first mentioned the offer during an interview on Wake & Bake with Double S Express. He explained that OnlyFans had reached out to him with a proposal worth $100 million in exchange for posting NSFW content. “They were like, ‘OnlyFans wants you to come on there, Snoop. You could do about $100 million. All you gotta do is pull that thang out,’” Snoop recalled. However, the rapper ultimately rejected the offer, citing his wife, Shante, as the deciding factor.

“I’m like, I got a Black wife,” he said. “Ain’t no way in the world she gonna allow me to go on there and pull that thang out for no amount of money.”

Snoop and Shante, both 52, have been together since high school at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California, where they met as teenagers. They married in 1997 and renewed their vows in 2008. Shante has been a crucial figure in Snoop’s career, becoming his manager in 2021. “Shante has been guiding my career behind the scenes from day one,” Snoop said in a press release announcing the new role. “She has always been my final gut check with all my decisions, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.”

OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform launched in 2016, has become a dominant player in the adult entertainment industry, allowing creators to earn significant revenue from explicit content. In 2022, OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky reportedly received $338 million in dividends, equating to approximately $1.3 million per working day, according to financial statements filed by parent company Fenix International Ltd.

The platform has attracted various celebrities, including tennis star Nick Kyrgios and Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo, who have used it to generate income and share exclusive content. De Matteo revealed on the Not Today, Pal podcast that her 13-year-old son even helps edit her photos for the platform.

Snoop Dogg remains focused on his music career. He is set to release his 20th album, Missionary, in November. The album marks the first time since 1993’s Doggystyle that Snoop has teamed up with Dr. Dre as the sole producer. Missionary will feature collaborations with artists such as Sting and Jelly Roll.

“In my mind, I made it up that I’m going to go back to being Snoop Doggy Dogg,” Snoop said during a recent appearance at the Bloomberg Screen conference, describing his reunion with Dr. Dre. “I want to be the student, the kid, the passenger. I want to humble myself and go in the studio with him and allow him to, you know, work on me and tell me what I need to do and produce me.”

Snoop has often credited Shante for the stability and success in his personal life and career. In a 2023 interview with Today, Snoop reflected on how their marriage has endured for over three decades. “I think because we were both young and we were both willing to sacrifice for each other,” he said. “She knew what my dreams and goals were, and at the same time, I knew what hers were.”

Snoop emphasized that their relationship has survived numerous challenges. “You got so many different things pulling you away from marriage and people divorcing every other day,” he noted. “But when you truly love somebody, there ain’t nothing you can do to break that up.”

While the $100 million offer from OnlyFans may have been tempting, Snoop Dogg’s decision to decline it demonstrates his enduring commitment to his wife and family values. For now, it seems that Snoop’s “friend down there” will have to be content with the rapper’s ongoing success in music and business, leaving OnlyFans as an opportunity that simply wasn’t meant to be.
