Kate Dee announced this week via a detailed YouTube video about her decision to leave traditional porn production behind.

The long and short of it is, she has decided that she would rather focus on her own content production instead of working in traditional porn production with mainstream companies. She wasn’t happy with the artistic direction that her professional career was taking.

She isn’t really quitting porn in the sense that she’s going away. She’s still online. She’s still getting naked for us, just she is only going to shoot porn now for herself, where she gets full control over the production.

She also cited her disappointment in working in mainstream all of last year, not turning down any scenes offered to her, and in the end, she didn’t get any AVN award nominations. She also went on to say that she felt her inability to ever reach beyond $5,000 a month in earnings on OnlyFans was because people were watching her porn scenes for other companies, and her hope is that by ceasing to work with other companies, she’ll be able to earn significantly more money.
