Katherine Studley of The Only Consultant was raised in Buffalo, NY. She’s a tax accountant by trade and a creative in essence.

She was working for a Virginia government contractor at the time when she happened onto OnlyFans on TikTok. Her first thought was to launch an eBook. But as she promoted the book on social media, she discovered that people were seeking an accountant, not an eBook.

She provided free consultation services for the first two years, contracting out the tax return preparation to a small tax firm where she had previously worked. It was time for expansion, so in November 2022, she and a business partner founded Prisma Tax Group. She bought his stake in July 2023, taking ownership of both businesses entirely.

Their creative strategy in the accounting sector involves paying contractors a portion of the money they make preparing tax returns and working remotely. They also keep flexible hours and guarantee deadlines are reached. Their inventiveness is seen in the adult market since few accountants are eager to work in this field.
