Turkish authorities have arrested a 23-year-old OnlyFans model known as Azranur AV after publicly announcing her intention to have sexual encounters with 100 men in 24 hours, a stunt she intended to live-stream. The arrest has sparked debate over free expression, obscenity laws, and online behavior in Turkey.

Azranur AV  took to social media on January 14 to announce her controversial plan. Posting a photo of herself in red lingerie, she declared her goal to break a Turkish record for the number of sexual encounters in a single day and hinted at attempting a world record. Her post quickly caught the attention of the Istanbul Security Branch Directorate’s Morality Bureau, which launched an investigation.

The OnlyFans platform has been banned in Turkey since 2023, but Azranur and others have continued to operate on the platform using workarounds. She has gained notoriety and amassed over 416,000 Instagram followers for her provocative content and bold statements.

Authorities detained Azranur at a hospital in Istanbul’s Ataşehir district, where she was reportedly awaiting a cosmetic surgery procedure. Footage captured the dramatic arrest as two female officers escorted her out of the building in handcuffs. She was charged with obscenity, resisting an officer, and slander.

In her court hearing, the Istanbul 6th Criminal Judgeship of Peace justified her detention, stating that her posts were “damaging to moral values” and “provocative to society.”

Azranur has defended her actions, arguing that she should be allowed to post and act as she wishes, as she is “not harming anyone.” She claimed in a social media post that one of the officers took a provocative photo of her during the arrest, which she later shared online.

Turkey, a predominantly Muslim country, has strict obscenity laws that often clash with modern digital platforms. The arrest highlights the tension between conservative cultural norms and the growing influence of online adult content creators. Under Turkish law, actions deemed as obscenity or harmful to public decency are punishable by imprisonment.

This case comes on the heels of global headlines about adult content creators attempting similar record-breaking stunts. In the United Kingdom, OnlyFans model Bonnie Blue claimed to have engaged with 1,057 men in 12 hours in 2024, breaking a controversial record set in 2004.

Azranur’s announcement and subsequent arrest have ignited a firestorm of debate in Turkey. Supporters argue that her detention infringes on personal freedoms, while critics assert that her actions undermine moral and cultural values.

“I do not deserve to be judged,” Azranur said in a statement. “My posts are my own, and I’m not harming anyone.”

The arrest underscores the challenges of regulating online behavior in a globalized digital landscape. While platforms like OnlyFans enable creators to reach international audiences, they also expose individuals to legal risks in countries with restrictive laws on adult content.
