Audio/Video Quality: If sex sounds and moans are your thing, then A Tempted Father will be music to your ears. Joymii does a great job of capturing all the little nuances of each romp without picking up a lot of background noise.

But if music is a must, then queue up Spotify because you won’t hear any here outside of the stereotypical porno-groove in the DVD’s main menu.

Tempted is shot in HD with an artistic one-camera style that is not unlike Joymii’s art-porn competitors. Framing is solid, but the lighting feels inconsistent in parts. Sometimes the scene looks a little flat, and the lighting comes off as severe at other angles. It probably has something to do with the post-production process. It doesn’t detract from the overall film.

Overview:  A Tempted Father  is a minimalist all-sex collection of five Joymii scenes. Nude bodies and sexuality take center stage. There are no story elements or dialogue, and set design is reduced to a matte wall in all but Apolonia’s scene, which takes place on a couch near a dining room.

There isn’t much setup or context given to the scenes, and there is scarcely a word of dialogue or dirty talk mentioned. As such, the title is a bit of a misnomer. A Tempted Father would suggest something in the ever popular faux-cest or stepfather category, but there is nothing on screen to support that idea.

Tempted is an all-sex feature in the truest sense; nearly every minute of this hour and a half movie is straight-up fucking and sucking. Foreplay is marginalized too. It’s very pretty, but sex alone might not resonate with every fan.

Scene One: Lola Myluv (AKA Dido Angel, AKA Susie) and Johny D open with an impressive boy girl masseuse romp. Johny oils a nude Lola up, but cannot resist her clean-shaven slit. There’s some finger play before he dives in for some delicious oral.

Lola is a blonde bombshell who clearly loves sex. She’s full of smiles. Watching her bump and grind with glee is reminiscent of Mia Malkova’s joyous romps and you can’t help but smile with her. It’s contagious!

Her scene stands out in Tempted as the only one with any sort of set design. Set in an ornate dining room complete with candlelights and a great looking old motorcycle (still not sure why it’s in the dining room), Joymii provides plenty of visual intrigue beyond the well-dressed copulating couple.

It’s decidely artporn / glamcore in style and makes for a great background porno to have on in the background. It’s not the sort of film to watch start to finish.

Like many Euro-porn studios, Joymii fails to credit the director(s) which is a shame, because some of these scenes are beautifully crafted. Some of us like to follow the careers of talented directors.

Tempted provides pure eye candy and fans of that Joymii style are bound to love it. There are fabulous moments and a few good scenes, but as a whole Tempted doesn’t have that memorable and rewatchable character. For that reason, rent it, or just grab a membership at Joymii and watch on demand. But do check out the Apolonia and Lola scenes. Those are definitely worth it.
