Audio/Video Quality: Oil Covered Asses 2 was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Mick Blue for Third Degree Films using the MPEG-2 codec for the standard definition release (using a standard 480 resolution). The lighting was usually optimal and it generally limited the grain, video noise, and shadows substantially. The composition of the shots was usually flattering to the ladies and given the quality of the cast, this made it more enjoyable too. The fleshtones were generally accurate and the bitrate hovered in the mid 4.1 Mbps area so it looked pretty solid. There were no compression artifacts and the visuals were generally handled pretty well here. The audio was presented in a 1.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate of most productions. The music was generic but the vocals; while plain as could be, could be heard in almost all cases, the vocals being less important this time than in various other movies by the company.

Body of Review: Mick Blue has long been a welcome meat puppet in porn, his work for Third Degree Films as a director almost always worthy of checking out. His latest release making it my way is Oil Covered Asses 2, a second volume of five scenes tied to attractive ladies getting their bodies oiled up before fucking like crazy. The ladies this time were lesser known than previous efforts by Mick but they had some substantial visual appeal too, the main reason for my interest being the wonderfully strokable Adrianna Luna (who reminds me a lot of Eva Angelina when she first entered the industry years ago). I’ll be the first to admit that I adore the oiled up look titles like this inspire (go look at my reviews for such series elsewhere) and Mick was the original meat puppet in Elegant’s “Big Wet Asses” so many likeminded people enjoy, so I felt this one had a lot of potential. Here’s a very brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Laura Crystal

Scene One: Adrianna Luna, the featured hotty sported on the front cover of the production, was up first in a skimpy orange bikini out in the sun, her already oiled up body providing ample material for my spank bank. Summary: Oil Covered Asses 2 by director Mick Blue for Third Degree Films was not a bad fuck flick but as attractive as the ladies were, only the scene with Adrianna Luna stood out as having substantial replay value, the “foreign porn” feel of the show quite prevalent in most of the action. All of the ladies were fuckable and contributed enough to make this merit a rating of Rent It but Mick has done much better in the past so check this one out before you pick up a copy for your collection. In short, Oil Covered Asses 2 did have a lot of oil tossed on young, tight asses but there was no anal for those so demanding and the pacing lacked enough staying power to give this one legs. Still, some of the ladies showed some serious potential so keep a look out for them.
