Audio/Video Quality: Performers of the Year 2015 was presented in a crisp anamorphic widescreen color as released by director Dreadneck (another name for Derek Dozer) for Elegant Angel. The lighting was plentiful and the general camera work was good though there were times when the framing could have been better and the footage not edited out. Otherwise, the editing by “CD” (Craig Daze, formerly associated with Tom Byron productions) provided a very polished look and emulated the previous incarnations of the company lineup quite well. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases, the music not credited this time.

Body of Review: Dreadneck is a talented director at Elegant Angel that works elsewhere under the name Derek Dozer, the latest flick of his for the company that I have been handed to review called Performers of the Year 2015, a gonzo title The company website described the movie like this: “Elegant Angel presents Performers Of The Year 2015. Our most anticipated release of the year! Featuring 7 of this years hottest and award winning / nominated performers including AVN Performer of the Year Annika Albrite. This movie has it all 5 brand new scenes with Anal, Interracial, Girl/Girl, Squirting and more! Enjoy!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Still, with ladies including Anikka, AJ Applegate, Romi Rain, Maddy O’Reilly, Skin Diamond, Bonnie Rotten, and Bailey Blue on hand, Performers of the Year 2015 was definitely worth checking out even if minor changes would have improved it a great deal. I’m sure it will impress the fanboys who never have anything critical or interesting to say but for my money, I’d prefer Derek up his game in the future to garner greater accolades like the company used to in its golden days, only tiny adjustments needed to really shine this one up so check it out.
