Dates of Production: The compilation is listed as having an 11/15/01
production date for the dvd. The credits listed 9/18/97 for the original
VHS. The scenes varied a lot on their ages.

Extra's: 5 trailers, spam, footage of Randi dancing and masturbating
culled from between the scenes of the compilation

Audio/Video Quality: Like most older compilations, both qualities
varied a lot. The audio made frequent use of dubbing and often had
improperly set levels. The music was usually too loud compared to the
voices. The picture quality was all over the place, looking, at times, like
a weakly mastered VCD and other times looking almost as good as an older
Vivid release.

Body of Review: Tangerine Dream is a compilation dvd with 13 scenes,
hosted by Randi Rage. Take a second to look at the box cover and notice what
she looks like-she's the one in the black and white checkered two piece
outfit and black hair. She is only in 4 scenes so don't buy this dvd if your
sole reason is to get lots of Randi scenes put together.

Now, I've seen a lot of compilations in my time. Some were well done with
specific themes to follow and others blew chunks. This one is at neither
extreme but it sure isn't closer to the upper end. Instead of having Randi
introduce the scenes by who is in them or even what movie they are from, all
she does is dance around and masturbate. If she looked to be having fun
while doing so, it wouldn't be a problem but the fact is, she looks like she
wants to go home most of the time. No matter, here's a quick breakdown of
the scenes based on guesswork as to who's whom. Direct any complaints to the
folks at Vivid as they saw fit to drop the ball by not telling us anything
about the scenes:

Scene One: Randi, Kaitlyn and Jon had no condom sex on a couch. Like
most of the scenes, the musak was too loud and detracted from the heat. The
sex itself was boring.

Scene Two: TJ, looking fine, Lori and Bobby had sex outside on a
blanket. The scene started underway which really bites but it was pretty
good.

Scene Three: This was a half hour long scene from Action
Sports Sex 7 starring Pat and Shelbee with Bobby in a mechanic's garage.
It was a fairly good scene.

Scene Four: Peter and Kelly(?) screwed at a household bar. Yawn!

Scene Five: Angela and Randi had sex while Mark watched them. It took
place on a freight elevator and even though it had a lousy looking picture,
the sex wasn't bad. It included Dom/sub but ended before the sex was
through. Boo!

Scene Six: Christoph and Nannes(?) had a short anal filled scene on a
countertop. There was also some footplay for those who like that type of
stuff. Not great but not too bad.

Scene Seven: Devon and Nicole took on Eric. Seeing him without Jill
Kelly just seemed wrong and out of place (unless he's with another guy).
This bedroom action wasn't very interesting to me.

Scene Eight: Janine, a long time hotty, took on Randi on a couch.
They used a strap on dildo and had a good scene. Yeah!

Scene Nine: April and Randy Spears boned on an easy chair. This one
had a lot more chemistry than most of the other scenes. Good work!

Scene Ten: Christy and Bobby had a bit of fun. Not bad.

Scene Eleven: Max(?) did Bree(?) on a coffee table. Nothing the fast
forward button can't cure in the future. Blah!

Scene Twelve: Melissa, looking exceptionally good, had sex with good
old Alex. This was the other scene with a lot of chemistry and her eye
contact with him made it a winner. Hot!

Scene Thirteen: Randi and Vince had a scene in a jailhouse. It was
fairly well done if lacking compared to the last scene.

Summary: Compilations are tricky to get right. The biggest problem
with this one is that it seemed like the major selling point was Randi and
she was in less than 1/3 of the scenes. Maybe if she had introduced the
scenes with a few anecdotes or even a who's who and from what movie, it
might've made this one a better buy for me. Of all the
scenes here, I'd say about 4 scenes had any replay value and the rest were
just filler.
