Audio/Video Quality: Becoming Elsa  is filmed in HD with attention to cinematography. The whole thing is shot like an art film. It opens with sweeping drone shots, dramatic music and just enough of a voiceover to build some exposition. Interior shots are well lit with a soft focus that feels a bit like a Lansky film. The whole thing is shot beautifully and fans of big-production pornos will be impressed.

In a few spots, something has gone awry in the audio department. All of Elsa’s voice-overs sound great and sit well with the moody music. But the sound signal is noticeably weak during some dialogue. As a result, you might find yourself cranking the volume up and down. A minor nuisance, but it stands out.

Overview: Becoming Elsa is an all-girl coming-of-age story featuring four romantic sex scenes, a solid story and a Shyamalan-worthy plot twist!

Elsa Jean plays a timid college freshman from Arkansas growing into her sexual identity as a tenant in India Summers’ Los Angeles mansion. Outside of her element, the country girl struggles to fit in with her more experienced and adventurous roommates.

All that changes when she befriends Charlotte Stokely, a blonde wild-child who encourages Elsa to explore her sexuality and ultimately pursue the object of her desires: India Summers. Stokely represents everything that Elsa has been repressing. She’s basically Elsa’s sexuality personified.

India Summers’ nurturing mother-hen contrasts nicely with an introverted and uncertain Elsa Jean. The sexual tension between the two plays out believably and builds up to a stellar climax when the couple finally have sex.

Each sex scene is beautifully filmed with sweeping tight shots and wide angle pans. Better, the performers consistently share excellent chemistry which comes through in their well paced performance and genuine delight in getting each other off.

Everything is sweet, romantic and vanilla. Fans of rough stuff will be left wanting, but if you’re looking for a genuine connection between the stars, this is a film for you. There are no toys. Most of the action centers on luscious licks and a plethora of impressive fingering techniques.

Scene One: What happens when an AVN Award winning superstar plays truth or dare with the hottest thing to come out of China since Szechuan sauce? The result is spicy as Jade Kush escalates  passionate kisses to steamy oral on Abella Danger’s spasming body.

The way these two look at each other can almost be described as love--especially from Abella’s perspective. Following her first orgasm, she becomes the ultimate giver, taking absolute delight in Jade’s every little moan.

For sex in a fancy house, the set is lacking in this one. The walls are scratched up and you can see threads or wires hanging from the curtains. It’s a small thing, but noticeable.

Pay particular attention and crank the sound up as Abella plays big-spoon. There’s something magical about that blend of Jade’s subtle coos and Abella’s loving dirty-talk. It’s a special moment, heightened by Greenwood’s framing.

Scene Two: This is sort of two scenes in one. On the one hand, you’ve got Elsa Jean and Charlotte Stokely listening in and mutually masturbating in bed. It’s voyeuristic, hot and does well to advance the narrative of Elsa’s sexual awakening.

The main event is the mature girl-girl action between India Summer and Cherie DeVille. These two have perfect chemistry and they deliver the strongest sex-scene of the film. Their communication, pillow-talk and mouthplay is nothing short of a master class on cunnilingus.

Despite Summer’s many orgasms, it is DeVille who steals the show with her impressive oral and a staggering full-body orgasm. “Wow,” she says -- yes Cherie, my sentiments exactly.

Scene Three: Charlotte Stokely and Ana Foxxx make logarithmic functions sexy in this vivid voyeuristic fuck-fest. After making dirty talk over an algebra book, the two dive a lucious make-out session while innocent Elsa intently watches.

The whole thing serves as a means of educating and empowering Elsa for her inevitable tryst with India Summer, as we the viewers watch and learn with her.

In line with the rest of Becoming Elsa, the pair gradually build foreplay into full-on sexual bliss. Despite Stokely’s sexy intentions, there’s no clear dom. Both take their turn in the driver’s seat.

Greenwood delivers exciting close-ups on the lesbian licking, paying particular attention to Foxx’s oral skills. That’s not to say Stokely doesn’t have a taste--she does fine work with Foxx , but the focus is clearly on kissing and nipple play.

Scene Four: Elsa finally makes her move on India, with a little help of her BFF Charlotte Stokely. Jean’s character is delightfully awkward, but quickly comes out of her shell with a daring kiss.

Stokely appears out of thin air and works to escalate the kisses into something a bit more sexual. Elsa’s finally going to get her wish!

The pace is tantalizing slow, but appropriate for timid Elsa’s “first time.” It’s nice to see how India Summer takes her time making sexual advances and eventually pulls Jean’s panties aside to have a taste. Just as Elsa gets into it, she pull back. What a tease!

Clearly Elsa is into it as she strips her panties off and gives into to Summer’s experienced tongue. After some time, she dives into Stokely invoking several Kenna James-esque eyerolls. All this while Stokely plays support. And then there’s that surprise ending.

Final Thoughts: This is a solid film for fans of romantic girl-girl porn. You won’t find anything too hardcore--there isn’t even a single toy used throughout the film. The plot is believable and sets up each sex scene without getting in the way. If you’re in it for story, it works, otherwise, it’s easy to treat Becoming Elsa as an all-sex feature. In any event, it stands up.

India Summer and Cherie Deville’s scene stands out in the sex department, and Summer sparkles in all of her non-sex roles (not to mention the threesome at the end!). Becoming Elsa delivers a solid plot with a twist and I Recommend this film for fans of girl-girl porn. Just be wary if toys or hard sex scenes are a must.
