Extra's: The best extra was easily the 13 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It had most of the cast preparing for their scenes, goofing up lines, or listening to director Skye Blue's orders. There was also a few trailers and some forced spam at the beginning of the DVD.

Audio/Video Quality: Sexz Latinas was presented in the original 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Skye Blue for Sex Z Pictures. The lighting this time was weaker than average so that meant the dreaded grain and video noise were plentiful during the movie. The fleshtones looked kind of dark in a few scenes with saturation levels pretty bad off. The clarity of the focus was also in question a few times as it looked like someone was learning a new camera. Otherwise, there didn't seem to be any compression artifacts and it looked low budget in every way. The stereo English audio was very basic with limited separation and dynamic range. The single piece of music played (at least it sounded like a single piece) used to convey a Latin sound failed to impress me as well but that's the fault of whomever thought a movie (porn or not) about the music business could scrape by without something better.

Body of Review: Sex Z Pictures is still working on promoting their name to the masses and while they've showed some significant potential in their movies, almost all of them fell short in terms of casting , production quality, and in the infamous fuck for the buck I tend to comment on in most of my reviews. With a lot of hungry companies out there vying for your hard earned (or found, or stolen or however you came by them) dollars, companies like Sex Z are eventually going to realize that consumers are paying attention and will leave for greener pastures unless you have something special to offer. The company's latest release in my reviewer pile is Sexz Latinas, a very skimpy story about a couple of women trying to get a recording contract by any means necessary. The plot was threadbare and the movie looked knocked out in half a day but a couple of the gals were worth a look so I sat down to watch it the other day. In all, it will only be of interest to the fans of the cast but here's a brief look at the scenes, noting that none of the guys wore condoms:

Scene One: Monique Fuentes, a curvy cutie with great DSL's, started off the movie crying and whining about not being good enough to "make it". In this case, she was referring to a recording contract rather than having sex because creepy Ben Campezi took advantage of her emotional trauma to get some from her. On a positive note, he went down on her first, after the two kissed numerous times on the bed, and while this position didn't look all that great for her implants, he didn't seem to mind. Her oral on him was pretty decent although she was sitting at a bad angle to fully capture it on tape all that well. Once he was completely hard, he went to work at boning her pussy, a very nice pussy at that, with him doing most of the work. The scene finished up with the facial and wasn't the worst I'd seen all week.

Scene Two: Monique Fuentes, up in another scene right after the last one, was dressed in a tight white dress as she sang to record producer Kyle Stone in his tiny office. Her voice had potential but he only cared about the potential of his dick sliding into her mouth and pussy by the way he acted. They moved over to the couch and she went to work on his shaft, showing her singing wasn't the best thing she could do with her mouth. I'm not saying she was a great oralist or anything, just that she gave an okay hummer. Kyle did some oral on her too but most of it related to cramming fingers inside her as she rubbed her clitoris. He pounded away on her but she wasn't particularly energetic, losing steam as the scene went on. Like Ben, he got really sweaty and popped a load. Again, this scene wasn't bad but it was very limited compared to other scenes where the performers had minimal chemistry (unlike here).

Scene Three: Xara Diaz and Isabella Camille, the two Latina cuties from the front DVD cover, were up next in a lesbian scene that started with some heavy kissing. Both gals looked very tasty in their black dresses, slowly seducing one another as they worked their way down on each other. I liked Isabella's all natural body better but Xara's curves could work for me too under the right circumstances. In any case, the deserted bar was a good place for the couple to go at it. The gals licked, fingered, and used dildos on one another to get off and while I didn't think they truly orgasmed (except the fake kind), they did their duty well enough to make me slightly appreciate their efforts.

Scene Four: Megan Martinez, the very cute Latina that has been plastered all over the internet as Adult DVD Empire's poster gal recently, was up next as she played the girlfriend to Rick Masters; a guy in jail (probably for his really lame Mexican accent). The two took advantage of the time given them by the guard to kiss and have sex, stripping down to their birthday suits in record time. She looked great and while neither of them appeared overly inspired, I enjoyed watching the scene just to see her in this early performance. Oral by both, vaginal sex, and the usual pop shot were all the norm here with little of her current performance skill and energy. Still, she was so cute to look at that many of you won't care about anything else.

Scene Five: Vanessa, an attractive brunette, was up last as she made out with TJ Cox at the bar (at least I thought it was TJ; it's been awhile). He played with her all natural breasts and readied her for some action but she took the initiative to blow him in her sexy manner. It was sloppy and noisy but sadly didn't last long. He then took over and plugged away at her pussy while she laid back on the bumper pool table but this killed the scene for me yet again; she let him do all the work. The pissing action on her part didn't make me feel any better although she almost salvaged it by riding in his lap slightly better than she did at first. It ended with the facial but didn't live up to my initial expectations.

Summary: Sexz Latinas was directed by Skye Blue and had some attractive women prancing about having sex. While that could be enough for some of you returning home from fighting in Iraq after a long tour of duty, compared to a lot of other porn costing the same amount, this was worth a Skip It. The cast didn't live up to their potential, the production values were off, and the limited extras and running time were unable to compete with the majority of porn made in the last few years so find yourself a better stroke flick if you're really in the market for one at this time.
