The short BTS by Jacky herself was comprised solely of cast interviews, allowing the participants to bandy about ideas related to the production or their careers.

Audio/Video Quality: A Lesbian Romance 3 was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of renowned Eddie Powell on camera and editor Gabrielle Anex, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is one of the most popular female directors in porn, her work at New Sensations, earning her the kind of praise few ever achieve in the industry. Her latest release in the “Tales From The Heart” series in for review is called A Lesbian Romance 3, a set of four scenes showing lesbian sex of an erotic kind that couples will appreciate, the previous volumes of the series garnering accolades as well. As expected, all of the ladies were physically appealing to a degree, many of them newcomers though my libido was stoked more by the ladies with a little more mileage such as Melissa Moore, Blair Williams, or Rachael Madori, I can’t say I know a soul that doesn’t appreciate Kasey Warner or Yhivi either. In any case, no third tier mopes populated the sexual identity of the show and that alone made it stronger than so much of what passes for porn these days.

The back cover said this about the movie: “Desire takes hold when Blake discovers that her new roommate, Yhivi, is exactly the kind of lover that she's always longed for. Melissa’s passionate relationship hits a major roadblock when she tells her girlfriend that she wants to have a baby. A practical Blair and a free-spirited Lyra prove that when it comes to sex, opposites do attract. Rachael and Charlotte enjoy one last heated encounter before they call their relationship quits.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Blair Williams, a cute blond with pretty eyes, was up first in her 32nd listed scene with cute little blond Lyra Louvel, the gal herself only sporting 20 IAFD credits at this writing. The ladies were described by voice over as opposites, some minimal tease in clothing leading to “private yoga lessons” that led to the gals getting naked before the inevitable conflict came up. Blair liked stability and routine existence while Lyra wanted them to travel, the lesbian sex fixing all their ills in a simplistic fashion. Blair was in a blue nighty and Lyra was naked, the two jumping each other on the cool bed I like (with the wooden headboard), Lyra licking feet before gobbling gash as the two of them maintained solid eye contact. There was some hand to gland friction as Lyra diddled Blair to orgasm, her bald beaver responding well before Blair reciprocated, Lyra sitting on her face though Blair remained the less aggressive of the couple. Lyra even rimmed Blair before they tribbed their juicy snatches together, the single camera bouncing between the gals as they made a myriad of facial expressions. It was a fun tryst all the same, the hands and mouths used to stimulate with some dirty talk tossed in as an aside, it just lacked much depth from the premise. Scene Two: Melissa Moore, an adorable 20 year old Texan babe, was then paired up with Kasey Warner, a flexible young Maryland native in her latest of 76 listed scenes. The scene started off with a sexual montage of the ladies going at it in different locations, soon cooling down when Melissa dropped a bombshell about wanting to have a kid, another fluff piece where their mutual agreement led to lesbian sex. Kasey was the more aggressive of the two, slowly licking and sucking Melissa’s various body parts as romantic music played in the background, a lot of kissing included as they munched rug and caressed each other, their neatly trimmed boxes giving the covergirl’s perfect targets for their ministrations. The eye contact was decent and they gave the appearance of some chemistry, rubbing crotch together as Melissa sucked feet. Scene Three: Blake Eden, a fetching blond hotty whose modest porn resume of 20 scenes includes mostly non-sex fetish work, was then up with popular brunette Yhivi, a curvy little California chick with a shapely ass (and porn resume of around 50 released scenes at this writing). The opening dialog established how they met as roommates on craigslist, the topic of sex quickly revealing that Yhivi was a lesbian. Blake masturbated thinking about the two of them going at it, again with romantic music, Yhivi coming in upset one day because her “pillow princess” girlfriend was lazy in bed. Scene Four: Rachael Madori, a heavily tattooed brunette from Brooklyn with 56 scenes to her name, then finished up the show in a scene with Charlotte Cross, a girl next door type sporting a few dozen credits herself. Unlike the other scenes, this one started out on a downer, Charlotte breaking up with Rachael which led to the expected montage of sexual play and fights stemming from insecurities. That led to breakup sex to ease the tension, the couple getting naked quickly so their kissing could lead to Charlotte licking Rachael’s hairy pussy and fingering it, good eye contact and the two moving to the bed where some NS Novelties could be deployed to stimulate more than just the fingers, Charlotte looking like she had a 5 o’clock shadow on her crotch but otherwise sporting a shaven cookie. There was some foot play too but the encounter seemed faker than the others, the initial and prolonged loudness of the couple not helping even if they looked tasty all the same. Summary: A Lesbian Romance 3 by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations was a decent set of four lesbian scenes showing attractive gals hooking up with each other romantically, the production earning a healthy rating of Recommended for the quality of sexual antics and technical aspects. All eight ladies were appealing and paired up with appropriate partners (though perhaps lesser known than the cast of the previous volume I reviewed), and the technical aspects were as good as always courtesy of the talented crew. In summary, A Lesbian Romance 3 was the latest in the “Tales From The Heart” line that Jacky endeavors to provide a lighter treatment of sexual themes than some of her other work, the kind of couples friendly porn many can enjoy so check it out.
