Audio/Video Quality: It's good but mostly happens in dimly lit scenarios. View in a darkened room. Keep your volume control handy if you are paying attention to the dialog as the soundtrack and dialog match nicely and then the sex kicks in...which is a whole different animal.
 
Overview: James Deen plays a cheating husband who can't seem to keep his penis in his pants but his troubles go much deeper than that and he doesn't know why. In between trysts, he tries to figure it out and ultimately to make amends with his wife. Will he succeed? You'll have to watch it to find out.
 
Scene 1: Maya Bijou & James Deen

 
This scene starts in what appears to be a very normal household hallway, lit by incandescent lights which give it a very dark feeling compared to many porn sets that feature halogen or LED lighting today. The sex is aggressive, James having his way with his mistress against the wall until she drops to her knees and he sees how far he can shove his cock into her throat.

They move into the kitchen where the pounding continues on the countertop and then a bar stool before moving onto a nearby couch, where much of the action has Maya in a dark shadow as she gets rammed in doggie. The lighting is better as she rides proficiently in cowgirl, with Deen carrying off to the bedroom mid-stride. The shadows once again obscure some of the action and there are some hard edits during close to wide-angle transitions which can be a bit jarring. There's no point in even trying to keep track of the positions they manage to pound in because they go on at a rapid-fire pace for about 45 minutes before Deen unloads in Maya's mouth.
 
Scene 2: Christiana Cinn & James Deen

 
This scene starts with Deen on the phone to a couple of people at different times and then lying down to get some rest. I won't give you the backstory but when you watch it, it will all make sense as to why there are 100 rapid-fire edits to different camera angles and weird colored lights and distorted audio and visual effects as the plot thickens and shit starts to get into really weird territory as Cinn enters the storyline.

Storyline put aside, there is no denying that Christiana has a body built for porn as her clothes seem to disappear into thin air. The eerie soundtrack I didn't mention earlier changes but continues to permeate the air as James once again starts to have his way with our starlet of the moment, only this time it's in a hotel(?) bathroom. Yes, the space is tiny and dimly lit and yes, they have sex on the toilet with James' hand trying to buffer Cinn's head from the tank and/or wall as he hammers away. Like the last scene, it becomes hard to track how many positions they roll through once outside of the bathroom before Deen blows his load inside of Cinn and she squeezes it out to play with.
 
Scene 3: Christiana Cinn & Donnie Rock

 
Once again, I can't go into plot details but it will make sense to you when you see why Christiana ends up in a hotel room with her husband pleasuring her with his tongue and fingers before wrapping his belt around her neck so that she can reciprocate the oral favor. The occasional camera POV from behind a lace curtain will also make complete sense.

The lighting levels in this room are better than previous scenes and we get a good look at Christiana, who's hair becomes a mess during a sweat-fueled fuck session that happens all over the room. Again, the sex acts are varied and numerous, with Donnie pile driving her from both the front and the back. Rock, like Deen, also ends up creampieing in our lovely lady.
 
Scene 4: Maxim Law & James Deen

 
The sex part of our last scene starts with Miss Law getting her top torn off and furiously giving Deen a BJ before bouncing his boner between her boobs. James is quick to reciprocate, burying his head between her thighs, causing Maxim to scream and gasp. Astute viewers will notice the camera person's shadow pan across her body as another angle is sought after.

The positions change rapidly, as in all the other scenes, James plunging numerous fingers into her as she blows him during a change, with Maxim adding a few more fingers of her own. At one point, Maxim kneels on the floor and James looks as if he is about to jerk off on her face but then decides to lie back on the bed and the pounding continues. It continues for quite a while, with plenty of blowjob and titty fucking action in between position swaps. It ends up with her bent in half and James pulling out mid-creampie.
 
 
Final Thoughts: Hmmm...okay. This is one of those porn features that seem to be more about a production team and a writer exploring their own boundaries and limitations. It also seems to be about James Deen showing off his sexual stamina over and over again, not that there's anything wrong with that but it is a 3-hour movie that could have left an hour of sex on the cutting room floor and nobody would have cared.

Hey, honestly, I'm a film fan first and a porn fan second. I completely understand why the lighting director chose the bulbs and fixtures that they did, even if I wasn't a fan of that decision, it adds a layer of authenticity to the locations. Once again I have to question why whoever did the final mixdown of audio layered in the background soundtrack very nicely but failed to normalize the volume of dialog with the volume of sexual sounds. I had to ride my volume control the whole way through.

James Deen shows off his acting abilities well, as does Christiana Cinn, who delivers a powerful performance in this roller coaster ride of a movie. Maya and Maxim also give good performances in their parts, as does Donnie. It's not a movie that everyone will love but I'm sure it will get some nods come awards time (which is happening now). For those just looking for stroke material, this isn't a bad choice as there are about 1,000 chapter stops on the disc so you can jump to a ton of positional poundings at the flick of your finger. I don't see it having a lot of replay value overall but it's worth viewing once or twice to catch all the subtleties that are present, so overall I'm going with a Recommended viewing rating.
