“Club VXN Vol. 6” offers a curated selection of Vixen.com content in four standalone scenes. It’s an eclectic collection, featuring scenes from three directors and filmed at different times in Vixen’s short history.

Variety is the name of the game, with classic Vixen stylings in some scenes along with that elegant vacation-sex vibe highlighting director Julia Grandi’s penchant for exotic locations. You’ve also got a good mix of porn: two boy-girl scenes, and a couple of boy-girl-girl threeomes.

Special features are light, but standard for the era, with the DVD offering only a cumshot recap and a photo gallery.

The scenes offer a dash of plot, just enough to make the sex plausible, but on the whole “Club VXN Vol. 6” is clearly an upscsale all-sex feature.

Scene 1: Marley Brinx, Little Caprice, and Alex Jones

Grandi is an excellent filmmaker for sure. She uses plenty of on-location shots and angles to immerse the viewer in the Spanish paradise. It’s an ambitious project, which is occasionally undercut by exceedingly quiet dialogue. You have to listen intently. There’s also some of that standard voiceover storytelling that’s become so common in story-based porn.

The scenery is truly breathtaking. Kenna James and Christian Clay are shot against the most remarkable backdrop of tropical beauty, and in beautiful natural sunlight. It’s pure eye-candy through and through.

Oral sex is a big focus here, with Ms. James showcasing her inspired oral skills throughout. She looks great getting it too. Grandi sets up a beautiful angle and captures Christian Clay as he licks and fingers the petite blonde with great interest. All the while, Kenna reacts with tense abs and waves of pleasure rolling up her spine.

Scene 4: Valentina Nappi and Mick Blue

Valentina Nappi gives astounding oral sex. The method in which Nappi strokes and sucks Blue’s cock is outrageously seductive. The cumshot is just stunning. It harkens back to the days when Lansky led the brand under the proclamation that his pornography was first-and-formost art. That may have induced an eyeroll or two within the industry, but it’s a claim he took seriously. Lansky makes sure that every moment is elegant and ripe with artistic merit, popshots notwithstanding.

Final Thoughts:

“Club VXN Vol. 6” is a fantastic porno on its own. It offers beautiful and diverse visions of sexual bliss across a variety of sets, and featuring some of the brightest stars of pornographic fame.

While there’s no fault to be found in the scenes, the selection is stylistically inconsistent. If you love everything Vixen’s numerous directors are doing today, then you’ll no doubt love this mixtape concept, but for those of you who fixate on just one aspect of the Vixen brand, you may be left wanting.

For longtime fans, “Club VXN Vol. 6” feels like another missed opportunity in the “Club” series. The first few “Club VXN” DVD’s revolved around a fictional sex club and the antics of its members. In web scenes, Vixen still revisits this concept, but that concept has been completely lost on the “Club” DVDs. There’s so much room for serialization and character development in a persistent VXN universe, and it’s a shame to miss out on these stories.

Like a new “Star Wars” film, “Club VXN Vol. 6” should not be judged by what we anticipate it to be, but by what it offers. For its high-quality and marvelously cinematic portrayal of awesome sex, this movie comes highly recommended, especially for the extraordinary oral from Valentina Nappi.
