Overview:

Scene 1:

What a guilty pleasure. Anny Aurora demonstrates how astounding sexuality can overcome a pretty basic porn premise. This so stereotypically porny and yet it remains one of my personal favorites from this studio, all because of Aurora’s performance.

All of the sex takes place on the floor. I would have liked to see some creative angles and positions using the boxes. It feels like a missed opportunity.

It’s comical and it fits.

If you listen closely, you can hear these ever-annoying police sirens going off in the background. Scene 5:

Mary Kalisy and Dorian waste little time getting naughty by the pool in “Summertime Sex.” Most of the foreplay takes the form of a pooltime stripdown with Kalisy’s top flying off and lots of breast worship. While there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s not the sort of thing you’d expect, particularly after such a glamorous and romantic scene.

Final Thoughts:

It is normal for studios such as X-Art to package a semi-random selection of scenes into one DVD, but this one felt disjoint. While two, maybe three of the scenes were the sort of glamcore you might expect from an X-Art release, the rest varied from sparse to borderline gonzo. In that way, Covergirls Blonde Seduction 2 is an inconsistent porno.

Despite its sometimes basic-porno nature, the sex itself is entertaining. It doesn’t matter how much you want to see artsy production values--once you see Anny Aurora’s untamed sexuality, you’re bound to be smiling.

Even in the more produced scenes, there are little nuisances--namely in the sound department. Background noise and sirens present themselves in two scenes. It’s not game-breaking, but noticeable nonetheless.

As a whole, I’d say watch it on demand. And if you do, do yourself a favor and watch that Nancy Ace scene a couple times over. Save it even, it really is remarkable.
