Extras: The first extra was the so-called Lost Footage (Delilah hilarious in her description of hick town Kentucky). It lasted 56:50 minutes and was a lot of fun (with as much humor and almost as many sexual encounters as the movie itself minute for minute). Then came the Confessionals reel, where each gal got a few minutes to talk about the show, 15:29 minutes of material including a drowsy Delilah in bed reminiscing about her exploits of the day. Then was an 8:32 minute long special called Bonus College Girls with Trina Michaels and Brittney Skye from either College Invasion 6 or College Invasion 7 where the two ladies made out with some coeds. There was a photogallery, a pop shot recap, a true double sided DVD cover, and a handful of trailers to shows like Casey Parker's California Dreamin', Casey's Winter Break, Devon Does Baja, Diary of Julia Bond, College Amateur Tour in Texas, Casey's Pool Party, College Invasion, Shane's World Swingers, Shane's World: Guide To Anal Sex, and some toys.

Audio/Video Quality: College Invasion 12 (Blu-ray) was presented in an widescreen 1.78:1 ratio offering as shot by the uncredited crew for Shane's World; this presentation being in 1080i resolution and mastered in the AVC codec. As expected, the show was a mix of clear footage and some heavily edited material caught during impromptu moments when the cast or locals were caught unaware, the usual dynamic being that dozens of hours were shot to be trimmed down to this healthy collection of footage lasting the better part of four hours. The fraternity party was loud and full of drunks but the ladies kept things (barely) under control so it was a lot of fun despite the major camera movement, the accurate fleshtones, and the lighting that varied from moment to moment. The video bitrate was on the low end here, typically hovering in the 15.4 Mbps area when I paid it any attention, the "fun factor" the company is so well known for being the emphasized as usual. The audio was also presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, limited separation and dynamic range noticed but it was still exactly what was expected. The background noise was high and I could not always hear what was said during the crowd scenes, some whispered remarks in the bedroom antics making me wonder what was said too.

Body of Review: Shane's World has long been a favorite company to me for their truly "alternative" form of gonzo smut mixed in so heavily with amusing party styled antics, especially on their road trip movies such as the College Invasion series. The playfulness of the action is always hilarious seeing the porn performers interact with the drunken college guys so when I heard College Invasion 12 (Blu-ray) would be their biggest such title to date, I admit to being psyched. As with the rest of the series, the company sent some gals to a college party, Delilah Strong in charge of the antics this time, the gang going to Kentucky to wow their fans in the boonies of the Bluegrass state. This volume of the series showed a lot more unknown college guys getting full scenes with the ladies too, not just handjobs, and the ladies really handled themselves quite well, a few of the men appearing to be on a little blue pill as they lasted so long.

Okay, having had extensive discussions with world renowned marketing guru Nate Glass about reviews, Shane's World, and a wealth of unrelated topics, it struck me that of all the companies in the world, this is one least well served by a standardized breakdown of the scenes; in part because the men are unknown and otherwise because there is so much entertainment value in their road trip series that counting the trees means missing most of what makes their shows fun no matter how much good will I generate with my usual praise. The sex itself includes guys barely able to fuck for a few minutes without busting a nut of genetic juice and the fun times concerning contests in the fraternities the ladies visit are so usually hilarious that talking about them in too much depth kills some of the fun (spoilers of a sort). That said, here is a sampling of what you can expect this time.

There were seven labeled scenes in the credits but most of the scenes were fairly short and uncomplicated, the running time of the movie itself about 221 minutes (closing in on FOUR HOURS!). Then there were the extras packed onto the second disc that amounted to some of the best footage of the show, glimpses of the cameraman seen in reflections of windows, the onlookers gawking with drool running down their faces, and my biggest disappointment was how little sex time Delilah Strong was provided here. Some of the gals were in foul moods at times (like when getting abruptly dropped during the first contest, some bruises displayed due to overly anxious "Kentucky Derby" racers as the men crawled too quickly to win some porn. Then Heather saddled up with a moper after a banana eating contest selected her partner of the moment, a contest for porn connoisseurs where Delilah called out sexual positions, drinking, public blowjobs and screwing, and then Delilah getting some action.

Then came some drunk antics involving Chris Johnson and a blond chick (Mary Way Calloway), the two splitting off to do some condom covered fucking, some contest material where men would emulate the ladies strip teases using a pole, the end result showing why too much drinking doesn't mix with too little fucking. At least Kelly got some fun out of it but there was a funny moment or two there as well. Once the crowd was gone (during the after party), it was quieter and easier to keep track of the fun, though the party games were not as polished this time, the ping pong ball antics and burning of losers kind of strange. Admittedly, the attempt by the company to reach out to the BDSM crowd was admirable but Rachel seemed to show she liked cock with anyone, and even the cameraman was given a moment to answer questions. For his efforts, the questioner got to wear a silly Trojan helmet and fuck Delilah, her fleshy ass begging for some more pecker to play with. Then came a last fuck by one of the ladies and some handjobs until the ending credits for those that care.

Summary: College Invasion 12Blu-ray by Shane's World provided some solid strokability and replay value with the cast a decent mix of new gals and experienced performers servicing the men (and women) of the Kentucky college scene. I admit to being a huge fan of the series so while my rating of Highly Recommended might be more than a lot of you would give it, the freshness of the footage (no stale formulas here!) and excellent extras made this a splendid value. In short, the College Invasion 12 (Blu-ray) will hopefully serve as the template for future outings as the double discs allowed for more goodies fans have been trained to expect these days, my pal Nate dead on when he suggested I would find this a particularly entertaining volume in the popular series.  The benefit of the Blu-ray upgrade was the enhanced detail, resolution, and realism added it too so fans might really want to grab one of these for their collection.
