This movie shines in its art direction. There are sweeping camera angles, excellent framing, and interesting background elements. Sandra Shine’s lighting is divine--she strikes a balance between glossy artcore shadows and that in-demand bright-enough-to-see-everything aesthetic that is expected in the pornos.

While there is a degree of storytelling, there is not a word of dialogue to be found. Each scene is set up with a musical montage of sorts and follows the theme of water-play, with lots of shots on lakes, beaches, and boats.

All of the sex is relatively simple. Aside from Luna Corazon’s dash of analingus, the focus of each scene is on breast play, kissing and a lot of pussy licking. Toy lovers look elsewhere, you will find no dildos here.

DVD collectors are bound to be disappointed by a complete lack of special features, a surprise, considering the well thought out and clean title menus.

Scene 1: Verona Sky and Hannah Vivienne

A flirtatious day at the lake turns into much more for Verona Sky and Hannah Vivienne. There’s swimming, paddle boating, and kissing at a public beach in a lengthy musical montage. Without a word of dialogue, director Sandra Shine establishes a relationship between the girl-girl couple, making the quick cut to the sex scene plausible.

Sandra Shine and crew’s lighting stands out. The whole scene is shot outdoors, and the sex part makes excellent use of natural shadows cast by foliage, and her knack for cinematic storytelling is evident throughout.

At first, the sex feels forced. It’s like the chemistry is off. You’ve got a lot of awkward positioning in the first part, and I don’t buy the connection during that topless makeout session.

Despite Verona Sky’s enthusiastic oral, Hannah Vivienne doesn’t convey a lot of feelings. She looks great, but I don’t see desire. There’s no fire in her eyes.

But there’s no denying that Verona Sky has got it going on. Those high cheekbones, tan skin, and that all-natural chest make her a work of art. And she gives herself to the moment in the second act, closing her eyes and pulsing to Vivienne’s circular licks with a believable orgasm, and she really sells it by hunching over in anticipation.

It’s back to the musical montage as they kiss for a long time in the garden. It almost feels like we’re in for more, especially since Hannah looks like she’s really into it now, but then the camera fades out.

It’s a much shorter setup this time, and Lexi Dona wastes no time exposing Lilien’s perky nipples. I love how dominant Dona is. She barely allows Lilien to touch her until she’s had her way with the blonde. Lexi worships those ta-ta’s and slowly works her way down to the prize.

It’s a challenging filming location too. A boat doesn’t give the crew a lot of room to maneuver, and broad daylight shots can be challenging to light. And yet Sandra captures sex in all of its beauty along with some dramatic shadows and brilliant reflections dancing across the lovers’ skin.

I like how it isn’t all about cunnilingus. Once Karol Lilien takes over, Lexi is in for one hot rubdown and boy does she look magnificent when she cums in the setting sunlight.

Scene 3: Sarah Cute and Talia Mint

“Dripping Wet” is a nice collection of beautifully filmed water-themed girl-girl porno. The sex is pretty tame, and if I’m honest, the musical setups are sometimes a bit over-the-top. They feel like something that would better be served by some dialogue.

The lighting and shadows are great and add to all the pretty pussy-eating. Unfortunately, some of the moments feel forced and there’s definitely some chemistry issues at play here and there.
