The Movie:

Lesbian Parties takes place in a house full of lesbians. They’re having a party. There are streamers and drinks and snacks and even party hats. As the party starts, drama ensues and that more or less sets up the four scenes that make up the bulk of the running time of this latest feature from Girlfriends Films.

Scene One- Katie St. Ives And Sophia Jade: Sophia seems upset and she and Katie split off from the rest of the group and head to the bedroom where Katie more or less ravishes Sophia by pushing her to the bed and taking charge of the situation. She rubs her up and smooches her and then starts to take her clothes off, and once that’s done and they’re both sporting their birthday suits, Katie eats Sophia’s box. She moves up and down her, sucking her tits and kissing her, and then they move into a scissor fuck that’s surprisingly hot. From there, lovely, curvy Sophia returns the oral favors that Katie initially bestowed upon her and then these two pretty brunettes with nice natural bodies move into a sixty-nine. Lesbian Parties looks like pretty much every other Girlfriends Films release, and that’s quite alright. The movie is a shot on digital video production which looks pretty clean presented here in a very strong and stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There is some mild shimmer in a couple of spots but no noticeable mpeg compression evident anywhere. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (the camera work is very good here), and overall the movie looks great showing very nice detail and color.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue, of which there is generally only a little bit during the sex scenes during the foreplay – there’s too much kissing for there to be talk! -comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The background music is fine, levels are nicely balanced, everything sounds clean and clear and all in all the disc sounds very good.

Extras:

The main extra comes in the form of a featurette entitled Our Girlfriends which is a forty five second long slow motion montage of girls making out. Yep, that’s the main extra. Aside from that we get some promos for other Girlfriends Films releases, some trailers, and a website link as well as static menus and scene selection. There’s not much here in terms of extra content at all. Just advertising.

Final Thoughts:

Lesbian Parties is exactly what you’d expect from Girlsfriends Films at this point. There’s a bit of a story here to dress things up but this follows their tried and true formula to a T. Four scenes of very attractive women getting along with one another in truly special ways. It’s hot, it’s sexy, and it’s predictable and a bit repetitive. If you’ve got a soft spot for nicely shot and fairly elegant girl on girl porn, however, you’ll understand why this crew is widely regarded as the best out there. Despite the similarities in the four scenes, the legitimate heat that this one generates trumps everything else, including the lack of any actual extras. Recommended.
