Extras: Unlike many other titles in the Buttman Magazine Choice lineup, this one had some decent extras. The best of the batch was the 16:28 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage, most of the footage amounting to either interviews or photoshoots that showed both directors as active participants in the movie making process. There was also a cum shot compilation from the scenes, three trailers, filmographies, and some websites, a company trailer included as well as a cast list of the ladies.

Audio/Video Quality: Gasp, Gag, and Gape was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by co-directors Francesca Le and Mark Wood for Evil Angel under their Buttman Magazine Choice line. Having seen many dozens, perhaps hundreds of titles they have worked on and in over the years, I thought this leap to the big leagues of gonzo (let’s face it, anything associated with Evil Angel amounts to an upgrade over the great many production companies out there, even if the Buttman Magazine Choice line amounts to their second tier farm leagues) was well deserved and about time. While the lighting was not always perfect or consistent, the levels of energy and enthusiasm were present in spades, my long held contention being you can always polish up the technical aspects of moviemaking but if you can’t capture the proverbial lightning in a bottle, why bother? So while the bitrate was adequate and the lighting on the modest side at times; the framing of the scenes was decent and the fluid movement of the camera helped make this one work. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital using an upgraded 256 Kbps aural bitrate, the vocals plainly heard throughout the show and no music or other distracting noises getting in the way.

Body of Review: Francesca Le and Mark Wood have been directing and performing in porn for years, their efforts sometimes under aliases for different companies but often providing some serious stroke value. As one of the reigning couples of porn for a generation now, they have displayed some of the nastiest hardcore smut and some of the sexiest romance porn I have seen (sadly, a lot of it seems out of print these days). Their latest collaboration is with Evil Angel on Gasp, Gag, and Gape, an anal themed movie where at least one partner is shown in every scene, opening with Francesca’s smoking hot body doing interracial. Francesca Le is regarded as one of the top MILF babes these days and Mark provides the “every man” experience that you just don’t get from the super studs so common in porn, I just wish they had provided at least one scene together to show their wild sexual chemistry or balanced things out by diversifying Francesca’s sexual prowess with something a bit more on the wild side (Femdom or more straightforward BDSM action) but she did well, as did Jada Stevens, Remy LaCroix, and Liza Del Sierra.

Summary: Gasp, Gag, and Gape by directors Francesca Le and Mark Wood for Evil Angel was easy to list as Recommended given the strength of ladies cast (providing some variety) and the adherence to the actions advertised. With some additional polishing up, I can easily see future titles getting even higher ratings, the extras a welcome respite from some of the other Buttman Magazine Choice titles I have seen but the overall package of strokable smut certainly proving both director/performers still have the elusive “it” (as in “they have it”). In short, Gasp, Gag and Gape did not veer off the beaten path from past works enough to transcend into what I would expect from a full fledged Evil Angel title but the appeal of Francesca Le and Jada Stevens in their scenes alone helped make this more memorable, Remy LaCroix and Liza Del Sierra fuckable enough to look for as well so give this one a look.
