Extras: The best extra was the 22:09 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that amounted to a series of interviews with Nina Elle and some of the other cast members, even a surprise cameo by Maddy O’Reilly. They talked about a variety of things, including Nina signing for the company at the AEE convention, how her first IR scenes went, etc. so fans will appreciate it more than anyone else. There was also a pop shot recap and photogallery though neither did much for me.

Audio/Video Quality: Nina Elle Is The ArchAngel was captured in anamorphic widescreen by director Mimefreak for Arch Angel. Each of the four scenes have a different setting and therefore unique challenges, even lighting pale white Nina doing men (and ladies) of varying flesh tones much darker than hers making the task more difficult. In that sense, my hat was off to Mimefreak since he handled the conditions quite well, using a lot of light to properly illuminate his subjects. A few of the scenes had more grain than anticipated, thus when played on the big screen television, it made the compression artifacts more pronounced, and there were numerous artistic approaches used in the tease sessions but other than wanting more tease (a common refrain from me in regard to the director’s works), the visual elements were solidly and capably taken care of, the editing looking almost as if more than one editor took charge of different scenes but again, suiting my tastes to a large degree. The aural components in 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo were fairly basic, not in a bad way mind you but basic, the limited amount of talking and ambient noises blended in with the uncredited musical scoring that fit the action.

Body of Review: Mimefreak is an accomplished director working at Arch Angel these days, his reboot of Elegant Angel as their lead creative force cut short by forces external to his control. His latest release is a spotlight showcase of 34 year old German bleach blond Nina Elle in Nina Elle Is The ArchAngel. The front cover featured her in full dark angel regalia, black fluffy wings and matching fetish garb giving her a distinctively slutty appeal, the lean gal sporting sizable implants to stand out from the crowd. The five scenes each starred Nina playing with men or, as in one case, a woman, in the first interracial scenes of her career. With Skin Diamond doing a lesbian scene with Nina, Jada Stevens joining her for some fun with Sean Michaels, or her own with Rico, Lex, Rob and/or Rob, there was plenty of potential to appreciate even if the gal has yet to seriously grab me just yet.

In short, while Nina Elle Is The ArchAngel will be a true “Must Have” for fans of newcomer Nina Elle, she proved herself in a larger sense by providing some very passionate work with a variety of performers that the director encouraged to give their all, the resulting set of sexual trysts offering replay and strokability beyond what was expected so check it out and enjoy yourselves.
