Audio/Video Quality: It's A Secretary Thing! 2 (Blu-ray) was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio widescreen as shot by director Patrick Collins for Elegant Angel using the VC-1 codec with 1080p resolution. The lighting was good with only a few moments that could have been touched up, the raw energy nicely developed by the director. This was the first (or one of the first) times that I've seen a true widescreen production in Blu-ray by Patrick and there is a learning curve but he wisely employed William Nutsack to work the camera and Michael Cates' editing certainly helped keep this one looking especially solid on a technical level. Otherwise, there was little grain, some video noise, and mostly minor visual issues that got in the way of having a truly first rate picture but such matters were few and far between, handled better than expected for the gonzo company. The composition of the shots tended to favor the ladies nicely, rarely chopping off their heads in a frame or missing out on significant portions of the action. The editing was better this time though a few of the edits were too abrupt or noticeable but part of that might be due to what kind of footage was presented. I saw no compression artifacts (it was largely falling around the 12.3 Mbps video bitrate; on the low end but probably needed given the amount of material on the DVD) and the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the female performers as most of his work these days tends to do. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 192 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, plenty of room considering how little took place on it but leaving room for future efforts too.

Body of Review: Patrick Collins is the founder and owner of Elegant Angel, rarely shooting his own movies these days but when he does venture into the realm of directing like the good old days, he shows people he knows how to make quality smut (rawer and more energetic porn than many in the field seem capable of offering at this writing). His latest release is It's A Secretary Thing! 2 (Blu-ray), a series of five vignettes that focus on office settings many of us can identify with, the drive towards "occupational porn" growing in recent years almost as fast as the sitcums and parodies I review all the time. Consider it this way, any of you that have worked in a professional setting have probably come across that hotty secretary you wanted to fuck endlessly, be it the blond wearing her clothing just a tad too tightly, the brunette that can't operate the copying machine or pour coffee but still gets the raises, or even the redhead that thinks dictation is something spoken of in whispered terms. All Patrick seems to want to do with this one is make a few bucks catering to our collective fantasies of banging these babes that are often just out of reach, at least until we're promoted to the corner office at work (upon which time we find out what a sexual harassment lawsuit really is). The company website described the movie like this: "Patrick Collins proudly presents, It's a Secretary Thing 2, a collection of stunning superstars dressed up as seductive secretaries. Watch the sublime Kristina Rose, alongside Jenna Haze, Celeste Star, Evie Delatosso, Charlotte Vale, Roxanne Hall, and Jana Jordan. It's a Secretary Thing 2 is a depiction of fantasy role-playing at its best. In an industry that is over saturated with unoriginal couch sex, Patrick Collins focuses on creative scenarios, chemistry between performers and real female orgasms. His movies are unlike anything else in porn." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Evie Delatosso and James Deen

Scene One: Kristina Rose, the delightfully sexy brunette spotted on the front cover of the case, was up first as a secretary incurring the wrath of her boss played by Manuel Ferrara. While looking all prim and proper, she also conveyed her sexuality very well, the office setting helping make her all the more fuckable even though she wasn't trying her amusing dance routine (insider joke from the 2009 AEE). Manuel was going to fire her due to economic problems and her pouty look showed a willingness to do a lot more in order to stay employed, followed by her verbal suggestion along the same lines. She started rubbing his arm and unbuttoning her blouse, soon stripping off her restrictive attire and blowing him with all her vaunted skills. She stumbled through the interview and found out much of the job entailed working very closing with clients to make them feel at ease, Anthony making the move to initiate the sexual portion of the scene (after a prolonged tease). They were soon kissing each other as her top was undone, his need to dominate her leading to some slight role playing where he spanked her ass. Her sweet ass beckoned for more treatment too, her matching lingerie fueling his fire to go further. Scene Three: Roxanne Hall, Celeste Star, and Jana Jordan were up next as the secretary theme was downplayed in favor of a photographer, model, and assistant dynamic. Celeste as the assistant was particularly hot looking but each of the ladies had their own physical appeal in my book. Jana made for a good nude model and Celeste was very helpful with assisting, the tease lasting awhile until they dispensed with the photoshoot to get friendly with each other. Jana and Celeste were given the erotic lotion duties but things became substantially more heated when Roxanne joined in, the trio tasting each other at length before using a variety of vibrators to get off with. If asked how the gals performed, I'd have to reply that they all appeared to get off for real, the sign of true chemistry (like in scene one with Kristina and Manuel), the gals getting slightly rough towards the end of the action as much due to how loud Jana was getting as driven by her desire to be choked out. It wasn't the most outrageous lesbian scene I've seen from Patrick but it merited special attention due to the replay value. Sweet!

Scene Four: Evie Delatosso, a sultry brunette with great curve appeal, was up next as she walked through the Elegant Angel warehouse to get to their "white set" used primarily in the "Big Wet Ass" series with boss James Deen. She had on some glasses that elevated her IQ and he had her pose with a cigar, this particular fetish not my thing (cancer sticks that smell extra bad?!? No thanks!). Still, it is hard to argue with the basic heat of the scenario, his pep talk leading to them getting extremely close for the kiss, her oral skills again put to the test by slobbing his knob so actively. He engaged in breath play ever so slightly but I don't think he was actively choking her, just caressing her neck as she pawed his pecker. They then started vaginally screwing in a modestly active manner before he ate her out at length, the continuation of the oral and breath play theme getting more aggressive as the scene progressed. They seemed to have a genuine rapport with each other that some might call chemistry while others would call "having the hots for one another", either case elevating the heat of the scene enough to add some replay to it. It was not her best scene to date and they ended in a facial but it was well worth checking out too.

Scene Five: Jenna Haze, the ever popular porn star seen everywhere these days, was up last as a job applicant for a secretarial position. Tom Byron was the boss and given their previous works together, I knew the sparks were going to fly! She looked much younger than her true age thanks in part due to her near school girl look, her glasses and short skirt a look she has always been able to pull off better than most of her peers. Summary: It's A Secretary Thing! 2 by director Patrick Collins for Elegant Angel was one of the best looking high definition titles I have seen of late and given just how many I get to see, that speaks volumes for those of you with decent equipment. I would have enjoyed a BTS or a related bonus scene a lot more than the extras included but the amount of fuck for the buck and replay value was borderline highly Recommended, the price point of the high definition project just a bit much for the rating I wanted to give it. As always, adjust your own ratings according to your own needs, the technical values, chemistry, and high end casting enough to convince many people that it was worth even more than usual. In short, It's A Secretary Thing! 2 (Blu-ray) was a welcome effort in the occupational genre, each vignette serving to add to the value of this 3+ hour release. Good job!
