Scene one: Raquel Devine and Scarlet Red

Scarlet Red plays a woman who has gotten to 19 without going through puberty, due to some medication she was prescribed. A MILF-y therapist, Karen Fisher, recommends a different hormonal treatment. Fast forward to four months and she’s starting to grow breasts, and her stepmother, Raquel Devine, is there to help her with the first steps into womanhood. Next she’s back in the doctor’s office. Scarlet confesses to fantasizing about her stepmother and her doctor. This leads her into a sexual awakening in the doctor’s office.

While marveling at how Scarlet’s breasts have grown, Karen starts to get more intimate with Scarlet. But a cut moves her back to her bedroom and her stepmother is bringing her a new bra. It’s about 25 minutes into the scene before sex is anything more than teased. But Scarlet starts rubbing Raquel in bed and they get more cozy and intimate. They lick each other and do some tribbing. I couldn’t get into the nature of the scene because of its storyline, which feels somewhat exploitative. Maybe the MILF term shouldn’t be taken quite so literally when a character is not supposed to be fully aware of how their body is functioning.

Scene two: Karen Fisher and Scarlet Red

Scene two begins with Doctor Karen Fisher asking lovely Adriana Chechik to pretend to be her daughter as part of Scarlet’s therapy. When Scarlet comes in, Karen asks her to recount the experience while Adriana is in the room. The plot gets even more convoluted when Adriana marries Karen and Scarlet so that Scarlet can move away from the incestuous fantasies she has with her mother. The plot continues to grow even more ill-advised when Karen marries herself to Scarlet when Scarlet supposedly barely recognizes what’s going on. Moreover, the plotline affects the chemistry of the scene and as convincing as Scarlet Red is as an actress, I would rather not fantasize about someone who doesn’t understand what’s happening to them. It’s not my fantasy, or anything I’m attracted to. And for the people that are, do they really deserve to have porn that panders to them?

Also, the scene goes on for far too long (over 45 minutes) with only a disappointing payoff.

Scene three: Adriana Chechik and Raquel Devine

All four actresses in the film are in the opening of the scene. First Karen confronts Raquel about her incestuous encounter with Scarlet. Then she sets up Adriana, who is still pretending to be Karen’s daughter, with Raquel so that they can act on Adriana’s lesbian impulses. Adriana is a very beautiful and sexy woman. I wish she was in a less concerning film, but in this storyline, consent isn’t an issue. She looks good with Raquel and they have pretty good chemistry. There is a lot of kissing and rubbing each other’s bodies, and they look good together and really seem to be attracted to the other. I enjoyed watching each woman eat out the other. It was an enjoyable scene, but it comes far too late in the film (after about two hours) to salvage it.

Scene four: Prinzzess and Karen Fisher

Scarlet and Prinzzess are alone in Scarlet’s room when Scarlet starts showing off how her breasts have grown. Raquel flips out when she walks by and sees the two young women getting more intimate. It seems like a perfectly rational response considering everything that has happened thus far. Raquel calls Karen, who comes right over. Karen and Prinzzess are soon alone in Scarlet’s bed. Karen treats the encounter as a clinical treatment and works to seduce Prinzzess.

I’m on record as saying I think Prinzzess is one of my favorite performers and she’s easily one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen in porn, but her performance is wasted here. She doesn’t unleash any lust because the story doesn’t allow for it.

The video was shot in anamorphic widescreen with a 1.78/1 ratio. Audio is in Dolby Digital 2. The video quality was good overall but the audio was at times hard to hear.

Final thoughts:

Girlfriends Films has been one of the most consistent producers of lesbian porn over the past several years, and my reviews of their films show that. They have a winning formula of getting beautiful women to have hot sex and then film it. Every prior release from Girlfriends Films I’ve reviewed, I’ve rated “highly recommended,” so this film is particularly disappointing. It was disappointing because it had such a beautiful cast. The plot, as convoluted as it is, is confusing by any standard. It also doesn’t allow the performers to exhibit any lust and instead sets up each sex scene as a clinical exercise. That it plays with themes of characters not being aware of their body development or fantasies is troubling, and goes against what I think good porn should be. I say Skip It, but find another, better Girlfriends Film in its place. They’ve made plenty of good ones.
