Audio/Video Quality: 1ST Anal Lust was captured in anamorphic widescreen by director Mimefreak for Arch Angel. The solid lighting enhanced the accurate flesh tones of the cast and helped provide plenty of detail here, the editing was generally well done too. I was surprised to find out Mike Quasar and Alex Ladd handled the core camera work, Billy Visual brought in as second camera to provide a trio of recognized talents, some modest issues with focus popping up but otherwise comparable to works by others at the company. There was no company watermark and the video bit rate was decent, my viewing on a large screen television revealing only occasional video noise or edge enhancement. The aural components in 1.0 Dolby Digital monaural were fairly basic, not in a bad way mind you but basic, the limited amount of talking and ambient noises blended in with the uncredited musical scoring that fit the action.

Body of Review: Mimefreak is an award nominated performer turned director at Arch Angel these days, the talented woman recognized for her skills and sex positive attitude. Her latest movie in for review is called 1ST Anal Lust, her directing debut with a set of four scenes featuring ladies including herself, Anikka Albrite, Kenzie Taylor, Cali Carter, and Jada Stevens to mention a few. The female driven theme here was the ladies all exploring each other anally with tongues and toys, the seasoned veterans of such action assisting their less experienced counterparts in kinky anal fun. Going into the movie initially, I figured Mimefreak would be the one in charge of the technical aspects of the show but ultimately, having seen and heard a great deal from Kendra of late, I knew that anything she touched would be well worth checking out. My only real concern going into the movie was that a great many people over the years have expressed to me their belief that women using toys on each other anally “doesn’t count as anal”, a belief I have very mixed feelings about but at least the company wasn’t marketing the movie as full of “first anal scenes” without clearly qualifying the label at every turn.

The company website described the movie like this: “Kendra Lust makes her ArchAngel directorial debut with 1st Anal Lust. The DVD features girls having their first girl/girl anal experience. Some of the biggest names in adult star in it, including Anikka Albrite, Jada Stevens, Nina Elle, and of course Kendra, herself.” The company press release then described the movie like this: “ArchAngel Contract Star Kendra Lust is making her directorial debut for the influential studio. This week, her company, Lust Army Productions, is releasing “1st Anal Lust”. The DVD is the first of the series featuring some of the top starlets in adult today doing their very 1st girl/girl anal scenes, and losing their anal virginity with strap ons, dildos and other anal toys. The cover features luscious blondes Anikka Albrite and the newest ArchAngel Contract Star, Kenzie Taylor both looking sexy in hot pink. “1st Anal Lust” also features former Booty Queen Jada Stevens with Nina Elle in her 1st girl/girl anal, Veruca James is paired with Lyra Louvel for Lyra’s 1st foray into girl/girl anal, and Kendra is even in the movie giving Cali Carter her 1st all girl anal experience. “We’re excited for Kendra’s first directorial effort for us to street,” says General Manager and Director MimeFreak. “The fans are excited about the fact that it’s a girl/girl movie and anal is always a fan favorite. We expect this movie to do really well in sales and with the critics.” “Kendra has been there for ArchAngel since the beginning—she was in our very first DVD and one of our first contract stars,” says Owner Gabriel Guzman. “So of course, we’re thrilled to be releasing her first DVD that she’s directed and stars in.”” Heres a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Anikka offered to show her some tricks, establishing a slight connection as they became increasingly frisky, the ladies caressing and kissing as the mood swept over them. The little kisses on the shoulder and peeling off of attire took some time as they complimented one another, the kisses lingering longer as they proceeded with each tending to the other in a sensual manner. Both had pubic hair and both ate the other out, Anikka getting a glass anal plug and bottle of lube to demonstrate the importance of lubrication while she went first. Summary: 1ST Anal Lust by director Mimefreak for Arch Angel was okay and a light showcase for lesbian anal exploration to earn a rating of Watch It Online from me. The casting of ladies was just fine, the scenarios forced, and the resulting sex too mechanical for me to rate it higher, even the relative lack of extras signifying the project was not treated like it should have been. Given my demonstrated appreciation for almost every woman of the cast in better outings, I really had hoped for better than this but it was worth a look all the same, the second and fourth scenes standing out a little but hardly the best work of the players. In short, 1ST Anal Lust was better than a number of titles credited as “firsts” for fledgling directors over the years and I have to hand it to Kendra for getting some expert help with the camera work, the project just needing a lot more polishing up to live up to the company name so check it out online before getting a copy of your own.
